I loved these books, and the character development between Shane and Ilya in the longest game. Seeing the way their relationship dynamic changes, and how the author touches on harsh realities of their lives together is incredible. I can’t wait til the next book comes out next year.

i get the hype but they were good not great. formulaic and predictable, but still enjoyable for some light reading.
common goal: retiring goaltender (eric) and grad student (kyle)
role model: harris (social media manager) and troy (with overbearing dad)
the long game: shane and ilya wrap-up.
