Wychmere Lane was supposed to feel safe. Jess should’ve known better. Nothing stays safe in a house full of Walkers.

Dating Ben was meant to be the sensible choice.
Then I met his father.

Gage Walker was supposed to be Ben’s safety net, not the man who could undo me with a single look. I shouldn’t have wanted my boyfriend’s father. I shouldn’t have even thought about crossing that line.

But now that Ben and I are over, the line I swore I wouldn't touch is starting to look a lot like an invitation.

At first, everything seemed to be working in my favour… until Ricky Walker walked through the door. Gage’s brother. All charm, danger, and interest I had no business returning.

Turns out the Walkers don’t just share blood. They share appetites. And these men are famished.

- Why choose
- Age gap
- Spice
- Possessive

Release date - April 1st 📅

“I like believing the world works like that, that every encounter and every wrong turn is nudging you toward something that matters later.”

Do you like a taboo romance..perhaps with your ex’s dad? That not enough? Maybe you want to chuck your ex’s uncle into the mix too? Eleanor’s got you😈

When I say I devoured this book, I literally read it within 24 hours and couldn’t put it down! I was so hooked into the story and really felt the connection with the characters. I have read all of Eleanor’s books and been lucky enough to be part of her ARC team, and I will always leave an honest review on any book but I genuinely cannot say a bad word about Eleanor’s stories/characters, she is gifted and literally one of the best. There is not one book you can read of hers that you won’t like and she caters for all, and I stand by that comment. When I need that escape from reality I can always count on Eleanor🫶🏼🖤

So we have our FMC Jess who is a tattoo artist/dancer who is living with her boyfriend Ben (soon to be ex) in his dads house. Jess isn’t happy in the relationship and Ben ends up going down a dangerous path and ends up leaving Jess in his home and Jess is none the wiser on where he is or if he’s safe and doesn’t hear off him.

Now we have one of our MMCs Gage who is Ben’s father. He’s the quiet man with a private edge and the protector. He is also in an unhappy relationship and ends up leaving Ben’s mother. With Ben and his mother out of the picture this is where Gage and Jess’ relationships blossoms. It’s intense, a slow burn and forbidden and they try to fight the feelings, the looks, the accidental touches that keeps edging😮‍💨

Now sometimes one is not enough and now I introduce to you Ricky, Gage’s brother😈 He’s the bad boy type that you can’t help but love and his wicked ways, and when he wants something he doesn’t stop until he’s got it! Ricky comes onto the scene and Gage owes him one from something in their past and Ricky is cashing in, not expecting to meet Jess alongside it. Ricky is the ultimate player but Jess plays just as well and gets check mate! There is a moment that I was laughing so much at and Jess definitely gives him a run for his money with the games😂 Ricky is out for petty revenge after that. But Ricky has his walls built up though as you learn through the story why, but can Jess bring them down?

Ben brings danger into all their lives so Gage and Ricky need to learn to share their toy and keep Jess safe, can they both find common ground to share and protect Jess?

20% in to the book I was already feeling the connection between Gage and Jess, and I was already routing and hoping they get together. They’ve both been dealt shit cards in life and deserve happiness. At the beginning Gage was my favourite - he’s tough when needed and soft when it matters and most definitely a dark horse, don’t let his soft ways fool you😏 He surprised me in all the right ways, and if he asked me to crawl to him I would say thank you 👀 I’ll leave that Easter egg there for you😉

But just when I thought Eleanor had wrote a why choose when I can actually choose a favourite she goes and throws Ricky into the mix, I was all for Gage at the beginning but Ricky got his claws stuck into me and I was putty in his hands, so I am yet to be able to choose a favourite but it’s a why choose so I don’t have too🤪

There is a new fun task shall we say that I haven’t read before, the pump scene! I’ll leave it at that and I know I’ve intrigued you enough up to this point, so make sure to get your copy!

I didn’t just read this — I inhaled it. From the first chapter, I was completely locked in, barely putting my Kindle down until I hit the final page.

The setup pulls you in fast. The characters are introduced in a way that feels natural and layered, so you quickly understand their histories, flaws, and motivations. Nothing feels surface-level; you’re dropped right into their complicated lives.

At the center is Jess — hardworking, stretched thin, and carrying more responsibility than anyone her age should. She juggles multiple jobs to stay afloat while her boyfriend, Ben, coasts through life with little ambition and even less awareness. When Ben’s father, Gage, and his uncle, Ricky, enter the picture more permanently, the entire dynamic shifts.

What unfolds is a slow, simmering unraveling of boundaries.

This isn’t an instant jump into chaos — it’s a gradual build. Lingering glances. Accidental touches. The heavy silence of “this shouldn’t be happening.” The tension inside that house becomes almost unbearable in the best way. Every interaction feels charged, and the anticipation is exquisite.

Jess’s personal life adds emotional weight to the story. Her home situation, especially concerning her young sister, is heartbreaking without feeling exploitative. The sensitive topics are handled with care, adding depth rather than shock value. Watching Gage step up in unexpected ways — creating safety and stability where there hasn’t been much — adds a tenderness that balances the heat.

And yes… there is a lot of heat.

When things finally tip over the edge, it’s intense, bold, and unapologetically spicy. This is very much a “why choose?” romance that makes you question why that dynamic isn’t more widely embraced in fiction. The chemistry between all parties feels intentional rather than gratuitous, and once the lines are crossed, there’s no looking back.

What I appreciated most is that the story doesn’t follow the exact path you think it will. Just when you assume you’ve figured out the direction, it pivots and keeps you on your toes. There’s angst, emotional vulnerability, and moments that will have you grinning one second and fanning yourself the next.

If this is only the beginning of the series, I’m all in. The foundation has been laid for something explosive in the next installment, and I already know I’ll be first in line.

For readers who enjoy slow-burn tension, morally complicated dynamics, high steam, and real emotional stakes — this one delivers. Just be sure to check content notes beforehand.

4.5 ⭐️

3.5/5 🌶️

I am super lucky to have been given this to read pre publication... and THANK YOU! This was sensational

We have 4 characters
Jess FMC
Ben (the boyfriend)
Gage (Bens dad)
Ricky (Gage's brother)

This was a slow burn, and a delicious one at that! The tension, the angst, the little touches and "we shouldn't..." oh my eyeballs were loving life!

Jess works as a tattoo artist and a club worker to help pay the rent. Ben is kinda a bum and does nothing to help her with his parent's house. She has a good night one evening with a group of workers in wanting a booth and extra dances.

Fast forward to Bens parents coming home, realising what a knob their son is and a separation between Gage and Bens mom, we are left with Gage and Jess in the house.... alone 😎

Jess's family home is awful. Her gorgeous little sister who is 4 is left with their mum who is also not that great at being a mum. So Gage and Jess try and have her as much as they can, with Gage transforming their spare room into a room for Jess's sister 🥹

Then suddenly Ricky rocks up at Gage's house cashing in an IOU and ends up staying there too.

The tension in this house becomes unbearable and it's was the best. Ricky doesn't want to keep his hands to himself, neither does Gage and neither does Jess... so only one thing for it... 🌶️

I am SO EXCITED for book 2

As a recipient of an ARC I would like to thank and acknowledge Eleanor for sending me her book to read and review.

I can honestly say hand on heart....I binged this book! My kindle has been stuck to my hand from the minute I started reading it.

I loved how easy it was to start reading and understanding the characters, their backgrounds and history, you got a real look into each one of them.

Without giving too much away, you'll wonder why the 'why choose' isn't a more common and acceptable relationship, we can dream though lol.

Jess is the MFC
Ben is her boyfriend
Gage is Ben's Dad
Ricky is Ben's uncle

Throw a bit of spice in (or I really should say...a heap of spice) and it makes for a very rewarding situation, one that I fully sank my teeth into!

I 100% recommend this book to everyone and I'll be telling all my booktok buddies to get it once it's released.

Congratulations Eleanor 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊

Daddy's Girl is the first book from Eleanor Crowe that I have read, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a taboo book filled with drama, pain, getting your happiness late in life, being your true self, lots of spicy moments and two sexy ass men and their bad ass woman.

Gage is the calm and easy guy while his brother Ricky is the flirty bad boy with lots of tattoos and bad history. Jess is a hardworking woman, who will do anything for the people she loves, even when it makes her unhappy (luckily not for long). Their story is worth reading if you're into bondage, sex toys, age gap, anal, double penetration, some spanking and why choose between two hot and dirty men.

Even though the title has daddy in it, there's no daddy dom or any point where she calls them daddy, so if you're looking for that, this will disappoint you.

Read as part of the authors ARC team.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS. I binged this entire book in less than 24 hours! I was reading this book with pure anticipation. From reading the blurb I knew roughly what was going to happen but not knowing when/who/where was gripping at me throughout the first part of the book. I loved Jess’ confident and devilish ways with Ricky and then switch that up to pure lust/yearning for Gage it was the perfect combination.

I found myself constantly switching between feeling sorry for the two MMC’s as you got the know them better and their own internal battles and how they was handling the situation with Jess. By the end I was team BOTH 😂

The spice was spicing, I was the perfect amount of spicy vs plot. By the end of the book I was left wanting the next book! 5/5

I was chosen to be an arc reader for Daddy's Girl, and boy was I chuffed. First time being an arc reader and it may just spoil any other!
I love a book with spice, I'd almost go to the point of saying if it's closed door, I won't read it. But this is 100% NOT closed door. I'd say spice level is 4*/5*, with it getting spicer as the story gets on.
Without giving too much away, our FMC (Jess), falls for her (ex) boyfs dad, and then when the uncle shows up, boy it gets steamy.
But actually, it has a great story line too. I was trying to guess what would happen next and loved the twists in it.
I'd love to hear more about Maddie, and I definitely need to know more about the new neighbours!!
Thanks Eleanor for letting me read this as a arc reader and I can't wait for the next book!

ARF ARF!!!
I really enjoyed reading daddy’s girl! It’s a naughty book, it’s slow burn and it’s suspenseful!!
I hated one of the characters but the two MMC’s made up for that lol
While this book holds spice it also has heart wrenching moments and does touch a sensitive topic and my heart hurt for Jess.
As I said it’s slow burn and I was itching for the moment it all went down, but I can safely say it was worth the wait 😮‍💨The two MMC’s are so different from each other offering something for everyone 👹
I cannot wait for the next book in the crossroads trilogy!
Eleanor thank you for turning me into a why choose girls ARF ARF

When you agree to ARC read a taboo romance.

Yes please and thank you.

Devoured in 24hrs and loved every minute. Plot yes 👌🏻and just when you think you know the direction it’s going in, sit back and just enjoy the ride.

This book will have you kicking your feet with glee for the quote moments“ Crawl to me” and blushing for the one handed read chapters 🥵🥵

Check your trigger warnings as this has sensitive subjects included. Not gloried just real and has you feeling for the characters.

If this is the started of the trilogy I can’t wait for book two.

As always a massive thank you to Eleanor for another fantastic read and for what I think might be a reread series.

This book!! It has everything, great plot, great MMCs and the spice... good lord the spice 😍! Why choose isnt normally my go to but pair it with an age gap AND a taboo trope... Yes! I can totally understand why the FMC couldnt pick between the two, she literally has the best of both worlds! I cant wait for book 2 in this trilogy!

This took me far longer than my usual 1-2 days. It was the slowest burn I’ve ever read. Every other book by this author was a perfect hit but this one was sssoooo slow and flat. I’m so bummed
