This is the second book of the Natural Method trilogy, translated from Georges Hébert's original Practical Guide to Physical Education by US-based French born fitness trainer Philippe Til. The second book covers specifics of exercises (with and without equipment).
Interesting content about the "educational" movements from Georges Herbert's Natural Method. Some of these movements remind me of modern counterparts - such as a single leg RDL and a lot of the other counterbalance positions. Particularly interesting is the idea of the 4-basic arm positions, all of which translate roughly to the upper body "shapes" described by Kelly Starrett of San Fransisco CrossFit. Something to read and play around with if you're looking for some different types of bodyweight movements and understanding some of the history of physical education and physical culture.
Lots of great info. Lots of the new 90 day "miracle" challenges dont work. The basic fundamentals work. This book explains the fundamentals in great detail.
