The best hunts begin when the hunter becomes the prey.

One year after Ivy vanished without a trace, the truth still lies buried beneath the snow of Hemlock Hollow. The town residents remain silent, and have all but forgotten her name.

Sam hasn’t forgotten, and she’ll never stop.

She arrives on Kris’s doorstep as the first snow begins to fall, with more questions than answers, desperate to find out what happened to her best friend. The locals say these mountains keep their secrets… Kris keeps more than most.

As another blizzard cuts through the hollow, isolating them from the outside world, something shifts between them. With two predators locked in the same cage, a dangerous game begins when rage meets darkness and no one will walk away clean.

One is searching for answers, the other protecting secrets, neither are who they pretend to be, but both are willing to do whatever it takes to be the last one standing when the snow finally melts.

Arc Review
Well that one went in a direction I did NOT expect! But oh was it so satisfying. The role reversal was fantastic considering most dark romances have the male character behaving psychotically. Again, the only reason this was not a 5 star review was because it was just too short. I want the suspense drawn out. And again NO HEA! But this ending had me more satisfied! The depravity and mental instability continues in the never ending cycle of a long line of family debauchery. What a great read!

Thank you to Gracie and Misha for an ARC!

OMG! This one was wild! We follow Ivy‘s best friend, Sam, who travels to Hemlock Hollow to confront Kris following Ivy‘s disappearance. Once she gets there, she enters into a power struggle with Kris where the roles of predator and prey get muddled. The spice in this one was done amazingly well, but the plot and Sam‘s cunning took center stage. That ending had my jaw on the f‘ing floor. 😳😳 I did not expect that at all and was here for it! This one is dark and f‘d up, so check TWs if needed! I would highly recommend, but you need to read Whiteout Part One to truly appreciate the story arc in this one.

First off CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!

I am giving WHITEOUT part 2 a definite 5⭐️ rating!

This is the first book I have ever read from this author and let me tell you, What a wild freakin ride it was! I absolutely devoured this book! I couldn't put it down!

It was very well thought out and fast paced, the twist close to the end... well I NEVER seen THAT coming! My only problem with this book and it wasn't even a problem was that I wish I had read WHITEOUT part 1 first, but only to get the full effect and experience but I followed along fine without it. So you could read it as a standalone, but I would recommend reading both. It was that good!

The plot was incredible and kept you guessing. It was definitely a dark thriller! Yes, it had some spice, which was very spicy, but it was more of a story than just s3x. This entire book had me in a chockhold and still, almost 12 hours after finishing it, I find myself thinking about this book. I would love for there to be a part 3 in the future, but if not, then that's ok. It leaves it up to the reader to think about how things might go later on. So, do yourself a favor and go pick up a copy of WHITEOUT part 1 and WHITEOUT part 2. You will not regret it!

As Always.... HAPPY READING!

You must read part one before this book. Sam is looking for Ivy because sometimes you never give up no matter what. As you follow her finding out bit by bit what happened the mother of all twists come into play. This story was better then I thought it would be.

ARC Review 📚

Well, since this is book 2 out of 2, you just kinda know that you will get all of the answers you didn't get in the first one.
And damn, I was so not ready for that resolution! It chocked me so much that I started laughing out loud and just went; WHAT!? THAT'S what happened!? 🤣
I couldn't help myself, it wasn't supposed to be funny but.. Yeah, yeah I'm crazy, okay?🤭 The last little detail was just so unexpected (NO spoilers!!) but you'll have to read it yourself to understand😉

Before you ask, yes, I am reading these books backwards. I dove straight into the second one without really knowing what to expect. Do I regret it? Not in a million years!
I actually think it was a good thing to read the second one before the first. Why? Because it makes it much more mysterious in a different way. Pieces still missing yet you get to see the unfolding.. I stand by my choice!

And Sam.. What do I even say about her? He was absolutely right. She's batshit crazy.
I have to admit that I didn't like her at first, but when things started to turn and she revealed her true self, I was totally on board!

My god this was a crazy ride but I was hooked on this one from the first page and it didn't dissapoint. It's AMAZING😍
And I actually think that the ending WAS the perfect HEA, In a sick kinda way.. 😉
(Even though there tecnically isn't one!)

I seriously can't wait to read the first one now and get to know Ivy and how things went down, because that's still a delicious little secret waiting for me!😈

Gracie never disappoints. This is the continuation of Whiteout.

Oh, I have a love/hate relationship with Kris since Whiteout. I love to hate him. He deserved everything coming for him. Sam Harris is one you will fall in love with for sure. The twists Gracie gives us is absolutely mind-blowing in this. I did not want this to end. I hope we see more Whiteout books in the future, but for now I will close this book happily knowing Ivy finally gets the justice she deserves. Oh the ending is just absolutely everything. No, there will be no spoilers. To find out, well you will just have to pick the book up yourself.

Please be mindful and read the trigger warnings. Your mental health matters the most.

I have fallen in love with everything Gracie writes. She has become a definite favorite and I can’t wait to read what she has in store next. Thank you for this story that is full of feminine rage, masked men, and revenge.

Ivy has been missing a year, what truth lies beneath the snow in Hemlock Hollow??
The cops weren’t able to find any trace of Ivy, but they weren’t Ivy’s best friend… Sam was.

Sam arrives at Kris’s door with more questions than answers but also with a truckload on anger.

A blizzard rolls in and 2 predators are locked in together. Enter a game of rage meets darkness. They will never be the same again.

Who will go further to prove their love for Ivy?

Check your trigger warnings.

Laawwdddd. Plot twist from hades! This book will grab you up and devour you whole in a matter of a hour. The way the plot twisted from what I expected had me rereading the whole book 😂 stunned, sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth, questioning wtf I just read.

"he can't break what is already broken."

Having read Whiteout part one I knew that I was in for the most unhinged MMC. Kris Kincaid I was ready for you. The book prefaces with letting you know that it is not a HEA which is scary because isn't that what we look for? It's been a year since Ivy's disappearance and her best friend Sam needs answers. What happened to her friend in those mountains? Gracie Williams when it all came together I had the biggest smirk on my face.
Primal Play, Masked Man ;), Revenge these are just some of the tropes we get with Whiteout: Part 2

What the....? I needed this after part 1.

Sam is trying to figure out what happened to Ivy. She followed the trail to Kris. Sam has kindled her rage for a year and is now ready to burn the one who hurt Ivy.

Kris is ready for the huntsman to pick its next prey. He is ready to put his skills against Sam's rage.

Be prepared for some amazing Gracie twists! I didn't see some of the twists until they twisted off!! So, so good!

You have to read part 1! Check the TWs before reading.

Whiteout 2 by Gracie Williams is a chilling and intense continuation that picks up directly where the first installment left readers stunned. Told from Sam and Kris’s perspectives, this sequel wastes no time pulling you back into the snow covered isolation of Hemlock Hollow. The atmosphere is just as suffocating and immersive, but this time the tension feels sharper and far more personal.

Nearly a year after Ivy’s disappearance, Sam arrives with one purpose and she refuses to leave without answers. What makes this installment so gripping is the psychological chess match between her and Kris. Both believe they are in control. Both think they are steps ahead. Watching that power struggle unfold was absolutely captivating. There is a constant sense that something is about to snap, and when it does, it does so in spectacular fashion.

Sam’s character carries an intensity that feels raw and consuming. Her grief is not quiet. It is fueled by love, obsession, and a relentless need for truth. The emotional depth behind her motivations adds layers to what could have simply been a revenge driven plot. While there were moments where I felt certain emotional revelations lingered a bit longer than necessary, the detail also reinforced just how deeply rooted her devotion truly was.

Kris remains as complex and unsettling as ever. His inner justifications and warped sense of protection create a disturbing but fascinating perspective. The dynamic between him and Sam is charged with hostility, manipulation, and dark attraction. The push and pull between them builds steadily until everything explodes.

The final twist was unexpected and bold. It redefines the power structure entirely and delivers a conclusion that feels both shocking and fitting for the world Williams has created. Sam embodies pure final girl energy with a razor sharp edge of calculated darkness. Love and rage collide in a way that is brutal yet strangely poetic.

This sequel leans fully into psychological horror elements while maintaining the dark romance undertones that made the first book so compelling. An intense and memorable ending to the Whiteout story.

I loved Whiteout Part 1 and wasn’t sure where Part 2 was going to go. But I was NOT disappointed. First of all, this is not a sweet romance. If you’ve read part 1, you know that this is not that kind of story that gives you all of the warm fuzzies and makes you believe in true love. And if you haven’t read part 1, you should be starting part 2. This is not a standalone. This book picks up after the end of Part 1. Ivy’s best friend and podcast partner, Sam refuses to give up on her. She knows that her friend would not have just disappeared without a trace, so she heads to the same place where her best friend was last seen. This is a story with a continuing legend of a Christmas Eve killer and someone who refuses to accept just like everyone else has done. She knows that the key to finding out about her friend’s disappearance is to start with the last person she knew had any contact with her friend. I loved the twists and suspense and the fact that going into this book we have completely different questions than we had in Part 1.

The characters are only slightly altered in this book and that is only because Sam takes a more forward role, while Ivy is in the background. But Kris is still front and center. One other difference is we don’t get to see anything from the perspective of the Huntsman. I loved the character of Sam. She has her own secrets but her love and devotion for her best friend drives her to head into the dangerous breach because she feels she has nothing to lose. Sam completely throws Kris for a loop and disturbs his balance to a point that he loses some of his control, something that he clutches to tightly. The dynamic feels so different with these two and it creates a completely different story with the same power as the first.

This was such a great sequel to the first book, which I was so in love with. There was some spice in this and, even though there wasn’t a plethora of spicy scenes, the spice was definitely dynamic. But this story isn’t about the spice. It’s about the suspense. It’s about the game. It’s about the Huntsman. I loved this book. It was short, powerful, suspenseful, and just so well written.

OH MY GOD!!! I was excited when I finished reading Whiteout Part 1 because of how it ended, but when Gracie announced Part 2, no lie I actually screamed for joy! And she DID NOT disappoint with part 2!!! Obviously, must say read the trigger warnings before you dive in, your mental health ALWAYS comes first and if there is anything triggering that can affect you, do not read this one or the first book.

So obviously you need to read part 1 to understand part 2 of Whiteout but here is a quick summary with no spoiler ending of part 1. We got Ivy, divorced and a podcaster, who is going to Hemlock Hollow to find out more information on this creepy legend called the Huntsman, trust me it’s creepy. But while she is out there, she meets this guy named Kris Kincaid. Hot mountain type guy but super smart. But to avoid spoilers let’s just say things get hot but also extremely creepy and scary!

So now we have part 2. Ivy has been “missing” for a year and her best friend Sam, comes to Hemlock Hollow to find out information about her best friend’s “disappearance”. Which in turn guides her to Kris Kincaid! Now, the spice in this one is minimal really, and not all that the highlight of the storyline. But it was GOOD!!! Gracie gave us enough spice for this storyline.

Now, the main focus of this one is the battle between Sam and Kris. And I mean it’s a battle that Kris THOUGHT he would win but oh boy, Sam came prepared! I WISH I could go into details about this one, but I always try to be as spoiler free as I can on my reviews so anyone that does decide to read, will be able to truly enjoy the read. But all I will say is that I was cheering Sam on through the entire time! And trust me, you will too!!

I LOVE how this one ended, especially the lullaby at the end. Gracie did a wonderful job in how she ended this entire storyline and honestly, I am HAPPY with the route she went for Part 2. She has more awesome works published but I will suggest with her works, check the triggers before reading. But seriously, I can’t wait to see what else Gracie has in store to publish!

This gripping return to Hemlock Hollow delivers a chilling blend of mystery, psychological tension, and slow-burning intensity that lingers long after the final page. Set against a relentless winter landscape, the novel thrives on its eerie atmosphere, where silence speaks louder than words and every snowdrift seems to conceal something sinister.

At its core, the story is driven by Sam’s unwavering determination to uncover the truth behind her best friend Ivy’s disappearance. Her persistence makes her a compelling protagonist—fierce, obsessive, and unwilling to let the past stay buried. Opposite her is Kris, a character shrouded in secrets and sharp edges, whose guarded nature adds an immediate sense of unease. Their dynamic is the heartbeat of the novel, evolving into a dangerous game of control, manipulation, and survival.

The author skillfully uses the blizzard-locked setting to heighten the stakes, trapping both characters in a pressure cooker of rising tension. Hemlock Hollow itself feels alive—cold, isolating, and complicit in the darkness that unfolds. As the storm intensifies, so does the emotional and psychological warfare between Sam and Kris, blurring the lines between hunter and prey in increasingly unpredictable ways.

What sets this book apart is its layered characterization. Neither woman is entirely trustworthy, and both are willing to cross lines to get what they want. This moral ambiguity keeps the reader constantly guessing, adding depth to the suspense and making every revelation hit harder.

Dark, atmospheric, and emotionally charged, this novel is a haunting exploration of obsession, grief, and the lengths people will go to protect—or uncover—the truth. It’s a tense, addictive read that will appeal to fans of psychological thrillers who enjoy morally complex characters and a setting that feels as dangerous as the people within it.

Ok so I loved the first book it was I think my first not HEA five star read of my life. But this, this is absolutely amazing. How Gracie is able to pack so much plot in under 150 pages I’ll never know. This is listed as a not HEA, but to me that is very debatable because I’m personally very satisfied with how it ends. Sam, girl, so many slow claps for her as a powerhouse fmc. Femme rage galore in the second installment of this duet. Some weapons play and primal play and drugging as expected if you read the first one. The tables have turned but the flawless writing and epic plot with yummy spice mixed in is exactly what I’d expect from Gracie’s writing. Her writing style is amazing. While the oranges made a cameo and not in a spicy scene this time, the first spicy scene delivered and I was hooked on this story from the start. (Why isn’t there a wooden spoon emoji?!) And the poem in the epilogue was the perfect ending. It was like a beautiful haunting end to a horror story. A twisted lullaby. I really hope to see more from this cast even if it’s a 20 years from now story *hint hint*. Five easily earned stars. A beautiful vengeful sneaky conclusion to a story that shoved me off a cliff this time last year. Read the first one then read this! It’s a quick easy one sitting read and a well written duet.

🖤📚 ARC REVIEW — WHITEOUT 2 by Gracie Williams 📚🖤
Ivy has been missing for a year… and her best friend Sam has burned through every possible way to find her — police, FBI, reporters, and even her own investigation.
But Sam isn’t searching anymore.

Now? She wants revenge!

Gracie Williams once again proves she is the absolute QUEEN of jaw-dropping plot twists. This book is packed with so many WTF did I just read moments that you genuinely never feel steady — the tension is relentless and you’ll be gripping the pages the entire time.
Sam is pure feminine rage wrapped in cold determination, and watching her collide with Kris — the Hemlock Hollow Huntsman — is like watching two storms crash into each other.
Because sometimes… it really does take a psychopath to outsmart a psychopath.
⚠️ Dark romance readers: check content warnings before diving in — this one goes HARD and does not hold back.

🖤 Tropes:
• Feminine Rage
• Masked Man
• Primal Play
• Revenge
• Dark psychological elements
• No HEA

A Dark, Twisted Power Play with Reversed Roles
This book delivers a dark, intense, and unapologetically twisted continuation of Kris’s dangerous game of cat and mouse. One year after her best friend Ivy vanished in the snowy mountains of Hemlock Hollow, Sam is determined to uncover the truth. But the closer she gets to Kris, the enigmatic and dangerous man tied to Ivy’s disappearance, the more the power dynamics shift. This time, Sam is the one in control!
The atmosphere is the same as in the first installment, Whiteout, an isolated mountain setting.
The book packs a lot of emotional in physical intensity for the characters. Sam is ruthless in her quest for the truth, and Kris finally met his match. The spicy scenes are written well, raw and punishing.
I love that the roles were reversed in this book. It is usually the man that does the hunting.
What I am missing is more clarity about Ivy's and Kris's fate. They are both implied, but I do not have closure on those.

I love Gracie and love every book she has written but this one sat a little different with me.

I loved that is was a continuation of Kris’s life after Ivy and that Sam comes looking for her best friend and gets all tangled up in Kris and the Huntsman. While I loved the back and forth between Kris and Sam, there were something that left me more confused.

Like after everything, why did Sam want to continue the huntsman tradition? Like she found out what happened to her best friend, fixed the situation but why do all of this just to get it going? I figured that once Sam found out about Ivy that she would just end Kris and leave, not be drugging him and trying to get pregnant with his child.

That was a plot twist I wasn’t ready for.

Overall, this book had a punch to it and it was satisfying to see Kris get what he deserved but it left me confused and wanting more to Sam’s reasoning.

Also, I highly recommend you read part 1 to understand the gist of Kris but it’s not required!

Let me start with saying please read trigger warning your mental health matters. Now if you have not read book 1 which is Whiteout 1, please do so it will be worth it. You may be completely ready to scream in anger but soooooo worth it. No HEA again yes, my favorite thank you so much!!

Now to the good part the feminine rage in this book made me giggle with delight. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to see if there is a part 3. Gracie Williams has a forever reader because of said rage.
Now Kris I do not like this person he is and will always be a twat Goblin. The karma that was bestowed upon him was worth it sooooo worth it. Sam got her revenge and that was the best part. I absolutely loved both of these books so much. I was addicted from the very start and did not put it down until it was done. I will say I loved the ending. I also loved how in this book the woman was the psychopath which made it so much better. This book I consider a girls girl book. I will most definitely have both 1&2 in paper back because I think I have found my new horror favorites. Miss Gracie Williams now has a forever reader, and I look forward to any and everything she writes in the future.

I saw the blurb reveal and went in completely blind—and this small but mighty book absolutely delivered. It throws you smack bang into the action from page one and does not let up.

The twists and turns come from every direction. I found myself rooting for one character, then switching to another… and then another again. It’s packed with unpredictable moments—some you might see coming, and others that completely catch you off guard.

I loved the fast pace and how the story never lets you fully settle. There’s this constant chill running through it, an underlying tension that lingers long after you put it down. And I have to say—I loved that this wasn’t a typical happily ever after. The lack of neat bows and fairytale endings made it feel even more raw and real.

With my appreciation for a good trigger warning list, this book once again delivered to the utmost.

Safe to say, I’ll definitely be going back to read Part 1 now.

Gracie said part 2 is also not an HEA, but in my opinion, it was absolutely an HEA if I've ever seen one. Infinite stars, truly. This delivered even more than I was hoping it would. Gracie does an incredible job packing a ton of plot and emotional damage into a novella length book and it blows me away every time. Feminine rage and revenge will do it for me ALWAYS and Sam is one of the most hardcore FMC's I've read to date. I'm OBSESSED with her and how this full storyline progressed. Seeing the predator become prey, was a full circle moment from book 1 for me and had me yelling at my Kindle, "YES SAM!" The plot twists and the fact it kept me on the edge of my seat, heart racing, guessing what was going to happen next, is one my favorite things while reading. I can't believe it's over and honestly, to me, the ending felt like it left an opening for future storylines, which I would be DOWN FOR!! Gracie has done it again and gave us a chef's kiss of a book! 🤌🏻

Whiteout Part 1 left me reeling with rage. I craved revenge so badly I wanted to smother Kris myself 😤🔪.
I’m beyond grateful that Gracie heard my plea—and delivered. Justice has never tasted sweeter.

I’m not usually a resentful person… but Kris deserves every single thing coming to him. Trust me.
Without spoiling anything: you will love Sam 😈. Watching her make Kris taste his own medicine—without him ever suspecting a thing—was deeply satisfying.

Maybe someday, Gracie will gift us a Part 3 with an alternate ending for Whiteout Part 1, showing us what could have been 👀✨.

Until then, I’m finally at peace with this story 🖤.

Gracie does it again with this follow up to book one of Whiteout.
This is a very Dark Romance Thriller with loads of spice but book 2 is more focused on Revenge. Hell to yeah, because Kris needs a rude awakening and this book delivers. If you’re expected to see Ivy’s best friend Sam looking for answers to her disappearance you’re going to be so shocked with what she’s really up to.
This was a wild and twisty ride more of a thriller in my opinion and I’m all for it and hoping for more from Gracie along these lines becase Wow did she out do her self with this one.
I highly recommend all thriller lovers who enjoy some spice this one screams Psychopath, Psychological Thriller, Erotica and Suspense plus mystery. I loved it!!

I really enjoyed this sequel to Whiteout. It’s a solid, fast-paced read with a plot full of unexpected twists that kept me on edge. Even though it’s a short novella, it’s packed with tension, suspense, and dark holiday thrills.

Sam channels her feminine rage as she hunts for the truth about her best friend Ivy, doing whatever it takes to get answers — even if it means stepping into danger. Kris remains as unpredictable and unhinged as ever, but he quickly becomes the hunted in this snowy, isolated town.

Make sure to read Whiteout first, as this story builds directly on the events of the first novella. And definitely check trigger warnings before diving in — this one explores dark and intense themes, just like the first book.
A huge thank-you to Gracie Williams for the ARC!
