ARC Read Review….

This finale? Yeah… it didn’t just cross the line — it burned it down.

MINE MEANS MINE 3 is messy, unhinged and love that isn’t soft. Healing that isn’t pretty, and loyalty that comes wrapped in bloodstains and secrets that refuse to stay buried.

This story wasn’t just about drama—it was about truths festering under the surface until they exploded like hot lava, scorching everybody in reach.

Gotti thought he understood loyalty, family, and the lines you don’t cross… until he learned his own sister carried the same grimy energy as his uncle. That betrayal didn’t just shake him—it cracked the foundation of everything he thought he knew. And in the middle of all that chaos was Raya.

Raya’s kidnapping may have ended physically, but mentally? She was still trapped in that room. The trauma lingered in the way she moved, the way she guarded herself, the way she struggled to breathe in freedom. Watching Gotti push for therapy—not just for her, but for them—was one of the most powerful parts of the story. Their healing journey felt raw, uncomfortable, and real. Therapy wasn’t a miracle fix, but it became a bridge back to themselves and to each other.

Then there’s Melli… Lord, Melli thought being “grown” meant acting out and running wild. But Raya and cousin Shay were not about to let her crash her life without a reality check. When the truth about how her grandparents treated her father Rel came out, it reframed everything. That revelation added layers of generational pain, showing how trauma doesn’t just disappear—it gets passed down until someone finally confronts it.

And let’s talk about Raya stepping back into her power.

Because while she was healing, she never forgot who she was. When Uncle Bobby and Ava decided to test boundaries and come for her husband and her family, Raya made it clear—she is still that girl. Healing didn’t make her soft. It made her sharper. Stronger. More intentional about protecting what’s hers.

The tension had me thinking the ending was about to send me crashing out, but instead, it delivered resolution without losing the emotional weight. It reminded me that closure doesn’t mean everything is perfect—it just means the truth finally has room to breathe.

Overall: This was a story about family wounds, survival, accountability, and reclaiming your voice after being silenced. Messy, emotional, and deeply human.

WOW book 3 was really good.

I REALLY love how the author gave the kids presence. I said this before and I’ll say it again. Made them kids feel seen.

Also I needed some kind of reality check with Melli. She was moving too ungrateful for me. Also she wasnt traumatized enough for me. Besides that one breakdown in book 1, I needed more cause after that she wasn’t moving like a child who lost both parents.

I needed a scene with Gotti & Melli and them having a heart to heart. She needed to talk to him & have Gotti really listening to her.

I LOVED the moment Gotti had with Zuri.

The arc with Chantel and her husband wasn’t needed for this story. It added nothing. Could have done without Chantel.

I have a love and hate relationship with how I love Rel & Deja together. I was soo into their flashbacks but they were dead. The moment Rel was getting it right and was going to change in my eyes his actions came & bit him in the ssa.

I don’t know how to feel. I needed a little bit more from the family coming together and them piecing things together about Ava & Rel situation.

Like who all knew about Ava & Rel?? Cause Deja clearly knew & Melli was at the age to remember that scene with Ava, Rel & Deja.

If Deja knew how come Shay & Raya didn’t??

And Gotti ain’t know about Rel son?

Also who killed the mama?

Kim K did the Darn Thang

And did, I loved this series so many moving parts, so many secrets. I honestly did not think with everything that was going on that she could finish book in 3. Hey, I was wrong. I feel like I am describing a movie. Thrills, chills, jam packed no stop action. Ol’ sista girl was very special for Cocoa Puffs. A very bad demon seed. I really enjoy Gotti and Raya love story and thanks to Kim K with awesome backstory bringing everything clear with the present. 🎁 anyone interested, it was a great read. She didn’t even make us wait long for sequels. You are going to enjoy.

Kim K, this book took me through all the emotions. After being rescued, life doesn’t just go back to normal for Raya. Gotti is trying to avenge her being taken while, grieving the loss of his mother, being a supportive husband, and dad. Raya and Gotti start to drift, but Gotti was determined not to let that happen. Melli thinks she’s grown, but Zuri is really the one holding everyone together. Truths and hidden secrets come to light and the Mercers’ are put through a lot. Uncle Bobby and Ava deserved everything that happened to them. This was a great ending for Gotti and Raya. Also Shay, is the type of cousin/friend we all need!

Movie in a book!

Omg! This book had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't swipe fast enough. I was not expecting the ending and it all came together! This book literally gave you all that you needed. At this point I need visuals because this story could truly be a movie. I love every moment and I'm sad it's over. I would defintely recommend this to a friend. I can't wait to read Shay's story.

Wow

Epic ending! I felt for all the people involved. The writer did a great job of making the villains origin stories not one sided. This wasn't a easy HEA. Which makes this story relatable. This trilogy was my first by this author. The story was interesting but I don't know if I like her yet?!

Sooo… I think the story line was good but the ending was rushed. I would have liked to see more unfold surrounding Ava’s actions as well as the relationship with Melli & Gotti. Bobby got what he deserved. I knew Raya was gonna come & save the day. ☺️

The grammatical error, but overall good

Bobby deserved everything and more that came to him. I’ve always though Ava moved a bit grimy. It’s just something about her that didn’t sit well with me. When the truth came out I knew she would turn like she did. She never game me loyal.!

That plot twist had me on the edge of my seat. I knewwww something was up with Ava but to do that was...... mindblowing. I'm slowly making my way through Kim K's catalog and I'm excited for every read. You will not regret picking up one of books.
