By the time the final truth spills, there’s no clean way out. Surviving the Mercers’ legacy means learning how to heal without pretending the damage ain’t there, find out the truth in the Finale!
I love love how this story played out!!! Raya went through some things but she really came thru for her man!!!! I knew Ava wasn't gone be worth a d@mn when I found out she had that snake blood in her 💯 but this book was so good the whole series was chef's 💋 5 🌟 10/10
This finale? Yeah… it didn’t just cross the line — it burned it down.
MINE MEANS MINE 3 is messy, unhinged and love that isn’t soft. Healing that isn’t pretty, and loyalty that comes wrapped in bloodstains and secrets that refuse to stay buried.
This story wasn’t just about drama—it was about truths festering under the surface until they exploded like hot lava, scorching everybody in reach.
Gotti thought he understood loyalty, family, and the lines you don’t cross… until he learned his own sister carried the same grimy energy as his uncle. That betrayal didn’t just shake him—it cracked the foundation of everything he thought he knew. And in the middle of all that chaos was Raya.
Raya’s kidnapping may have ended physically, but mentally? She was still trapped in that room. The trauma lingered in the way she moved, the way she guarded herself, the way she struggled to breathe in freedom. Watching Gotti push for therapy—not just for her, but for them—was one of the most powerful parts of the story. Their healing journey felt raw, uncomfortable, and real. Therapy wasn’t a miracle fix, but it became a bridge back to themselves and to each other.
Then there’s Melli… Lord, Melli thought being “grown” meant acting out and running wild. But Raya and cousin Shay were not about to let her crash her life without a reality check. When the truth about how her grandparents treated her father Rel came out, it reframed everything. That revelation added layers of generational pain, showing how trauma doesn’t just disappear—it gets passed down until someone finally confronts it.
And let’s talk about Raya stepping back into her power.
Because while she was healing, she never forgot who she was. When Uncle Bobby and Ava decided to test boundaries and come for her husband and her family, Raya made it clear—she is still that girl. Healing didn’t make her soft. It made her sharper. Stronger. More intentional about protecting what’s hers.
The tension had me thinking the ending was about to send me crashing out, but instead, it delivered resolution without losing the emotional weight. It reminded me that closure doesn’t mean everything is perfect—it just means the truth finally has room to breathe.
Overall: This was a story about family wounds, survival, accountability, and reclaiming your voice after being silenced. Messy, emotional, and deeply human.
I drove into the Finale of Kim K’s gritty Urban Romance in Mine Means Mine 3, and let me tell you, I was at the edge of my seat and my kindle on the charger for fear that it may die. Gotti Mercer is one heck of a man. That man stood 10 toes down for Raya, Zuri and his teenage niece Melli. The story was sweet and swoon worthly up until Raya was detained and sent into a mental health facility based off of false claims that Raya’s ex-husband Deontay told Gotti’s uncle Bobby. Gotti was not playing, he went 🦍 💩 around the city of Atlanta until he found his “Glazed Donut.” No one person was safe from his wrath even when he found Raya, he vowed and made a promise to her that he was gonna get everyone who touched her…and he did!!!
What I can say is that I did not see Ava as the person (if you read the book, then you know what I’m talking about), I honestly thought that Uncle Bobby did it (man was I surprised at that outcome🤦🏾♀️). Anywho, I’m so glad that Ava and Uncle Bobby got what was coming to them in the end, Rel, Deja, and their youngest daughter didn’t deserved to die because Rel chose his family over a good time. Shame on Ava. Uncle Bobby, well that’s a different story because he was a foul individul who only cared about his money and how much product he could push. Uncle Bobby had no remorse for anyone, not even Gotti’s mother (his fling) life when she was shot and killed. I’m glad Uncle Bobbi went to meet his maker ⚰️😈🔥.
Now, let’s talk about my girl Shay Hart. Yeah, she is a true definition of a ride or die friend. Shay was nother one that stood 10 toes down for Raya. Shay is my kind of friend.
In closing, I’m glad that Gotti pulled through his injuries and was able to create the life that he wanted with his family Raya, Melli, Zuri, and the baby boy. I was smiling from ear to ear.
I REALLY love how the author gave the kids presence. I said this before and I’ll say it again. Made them kids feel seen.
Also I needed some kind of reality check with Melli. She was moving too ungrateful for me. Also she wasnt traumatized enough for me. Besides that one breakdown in book 1, I needed more cause after that she wasn’t moving like a child who lost both parents.
I needed a scene with Gotti & Melli and them having a heart to heart. She needed to talk to him & have Gotti really listening to her.
I LOVED the moment Gotti had with Zuri.
The arc with Chantel and her husband wasn’t needed for this story. It added nothing. Could have done without Chantel.
I have a love and hate relationship with how I love Rel & Deja together. I was soo into their flashbacks but they were dead. The moment Rel was getting it right and was going to change in my eyes his actions came & bit him in the ssa.
I don’t know how to feel. I needed a little bit more from the family coming together and them piecing things together about Ava & Rel situation.
Like who all knew about Ava & Rel?? Cause Deja clearly knew & Melli was at the age to remember that scene with Ava, Rel & Deja.
And did, I loved this series so many moving parts, so many secrets. I honestly did not think with everything that was going on that she could finish book in 3. Hey, I was wrong. I feel like I am describing a movie. Thrills, chills, jam packed no stop action. Ol’ sista girl was very special for Cocoa Puffs. A very bad demon seed. I really enjoy Gotti and Raya love story and thanks to Kim K with awesome backstory bringing everything clear with the present. 🎁 anyone interested, it was a great read. She didn’t even make us wait long for sequels. You are going to enjoy. Kayla Tolbert Roney Ps. Kim K you need a discussion group so we can delve in more. I hate giving too much away on reviews🥰
Kim K, this book took me through all the emotions. After being rescued, life doesn’t just go back to normal for Raya. Gotti is trying to avenge her being taken while, grieving the loss of his mother, being a supportive husband, and dad. Raya and Gotti start to drift, but Gotti was determined not to let that happen. Melli thinks she’s grown, but Zuri is really the one holding everyone together. Truths and hidden secrets come to light and the Mercers’ are put through a lot. Uncle Bobby and Ava deserved everything that happened to them. This was a great ending for Gotti and Raya. Also Shay, is the type of cousin/friend we all need!
The Mercer's had been through so much but in this finale all of the lies, skeletons and secrets tumbled out of the closet! Ava proved to be just as crazy as Bobby! In the end she almost succeeded in taking her whole family out, but her and Bobby got their true karma. Raya and Gotti got their true HEA and Deontay redeemed himself! Some really sad things happened and some people died as a result of crazy thinking, jealousy and envy! This was a story of resilience in the face of evil and a true testament to love will make you do some unusual things! Great series Kim K.
I'm glad I continued with this series! It's crazy that not only was Uncle Bobby the villain but so was Gotti's half- sister, Ava. This whole time we thought Uncle Bobby killed Rel and his family but it was Ava!! It was a fatal attraction 🙄🙄 that dumb girl fell in love with a married man. She was a snake in her own way too. I don't think she really loved Rel she just wanted to be chosen. What I don't understand though is why they leave Melli alive? Why kill the youngest child? All in all it was a good series once I got passed the first book. It could use a little bit more editing too.

Omg! This book had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't swipe fast enough. I was not expecting the ending and it all came together! This book literally gave you all that you needed. At this point I need visuals because this story could truly be a movie. I love every moment and I'm sad it's over. I would defintely recommend this to a friend. I can't wait to read Shay's story.
Shay said that girl was weird and she was right!! lol
I do feel like this finale dragged a little bit, but it was good so 🤷🏽♀️
- Ava and Rel situation gave “it’s a thin line between love and hate” wished her weird butt just listen to everybody, but hey it was entertaining to read 😭
- Glad my girl finally got out that marriage and I would’ve loved to see Raya and Gotti actually get married
Epic ending! I felt for all the people involved. The writer did a great job of making the villains origin stories not one sided. This wasn't a easy HEA. Which makes this story relatable. This trilogy was my first by this author. The story was interesting but I don't know if I like her yet?!
This right here.....will have u stuck. 3 books, no need to skim. Every sentence, is new info. Every chapter drags you in deeper. I felt this story in my bones. It ain't pretty, but it's worth it. Oh and Gotti is book Bae fusho. Must read. 5stars. Can't imagine how Shay coming but I can't wait.
Sooo… I think the story line was good but the ending was rushed. I would have liked to see more unfold surrounding Ava’s actions as well as the relationship with Melli & Gotti. Bobby got what he deserved. I knew Raya was gonna come & save the day. ☺️

I received this as an ARC.. I would just like to say first & foremost, I love Gotti & Raya down!!! Part 3 definitely answered all the questions I had. Once again Kim K wrote her ass off. Y’all better go grab it!
Bobby deserved everything and more that came to him. I’ve always though Ava moved a bit grimy. It’s just something about her that didn’t sit well with me. When the truth came out I knew she would turn like she did. She never game me loyal.!
That plot twist had me on the edge of my seat. I knewwww something was up with Ava but to do that was...... mindblowing. I'm slowly making my way through Kim K's catalog and I'm excited for every read. You will not regret picking up one of books.
That btch really tried to take my man's out!! I'm like sooo through! Never have I ever wanted to jump through a book so fast! Ugh! Maaaan this series took me through there okay!? I am so happy I found you. This is a 10/10 highly recommend. 🙌🏾 Thank you ✨✨✨✨✨♥️
