His Dark Demands is book one in the Remotti Brothers series. This was another awesome read by this author. Ciro loves Isla but because of his past and his family he plans to never tell her. Leaving Ciro was the hardest thing she will have to do but to survive that’s exactly what it will take. When he finds her and the surprise, she has he will now do whatever it takes to keep her even though he will struggle with putting a target on her. This is a great start to this new series about the Remotti family, and I can't wait to read more.

If there was ever a man who gets under your skin, rubs you the wrong way but ultimately ends up owning your heart, it is Ciro Remotti. His ego is too big, he is cocky and he thinks just because he is the Dom, he can control everything. Well, he was wrong when Isla walked into his life.
Ms. Porter has dived into the world of the Mafia and I, for one, am ecstatic. His Dark Demands is the first book in her new series, Remotti Brothers and it had my full attention. I read it in one sitting; life came to a halt when I picked it up.
Ciro is the typical Mafia Dom at the beginning of the book and has chosen to live his life as a single man. However, he does have a woman who holds his heart and is the air that he needs to survive, Isla. Boy, she tells it like it is. She is not like the typical woman we read about in Mafia books. She makes demands and gives ultimatums. These ultimatums changed everyone's lives for both good and bad,
Their story is one of a love that was tested and failed but time brought them back together. Now that journey was not all rainbows and sunshine. There were shattered hearts, lives turned upside down and a lot of groveling. In the end, Ciro saw that love was more important and opened his heart up to a family.

I wasn't sure how I felt about The Remetti brothers- Ciro was too hung up on himself and what he wanted to see what was in front of his face, equally Isla could have used her words like an adult and they wouldn't have been in such a pickle!!

Im still not happy with the Courtney to LA bit and to be fair Isla had every right to be pissy!

Roman has the potential to be my favorite brother....... theres an air about him that intrigues me!

Spoiler - only because im a sucker for a HEA I didnt want Paolo to die, I wanted Alba to have a person..... but is that going to be Luca???

I was reading this and kept telling myself I didnt like it and now iv finished it i did really enjoy how it came together, I think for me a die hard KLMC groupy I was moody because these boys have stolen Naomi into the Mafia world, but i think im going to go with her ❤️

When Ciro Remotti refuses to commit to love or marriage with Isla Martin, she leaves him. After 15 months apart, Ciro can’t stand being without Isla anymore, so he tracks her down in order to get back together.

This is a great story. The characters make it so good. Ciro’s refusal to commit is due to the fact that his mother was killed in front of him when he was five. He’s carried the weight of that horror with him ever since, and he believes any woman he loves or children he might have would be in too much danger because of the family business. Isla knows the family business but loves Ciro regardless. I love the characters in this book, especially Isla. She is strong and independent refusing to accept anything less than she wants and needs from Ciro even though she still loves him. The Remotti family is a close knit family, and I can’t wait for more in this series.

His Dark Demands is book 1 in the Remotti Brothers series. It starts us off with Ciro and Isla. Now, I wasn't sure about Ciro to begin with. He's big personality, HUGE ego and all around smart a*^. He rubbed me the wrong way from the start and I really didn't think there would be any come back for him. Then there's Isla. I love her! She starts out a little timid and definitely deserves more than Ciro. Then, in true Naomi Porter fashion, this author changed my mind. I really should have known better. She never does halfway and her stepping into the mafia world is just another facet of her talent. His Dark Demands is absolutely fantastic and I'm so excited to where she takes the other
brothers.

Mafia men are hard to pass by, but Naomi's mafia men are absolutely heart stopping. They are everything that you want them to be. Ciro is a man that sets you on fire. Even with his big ego at first, but he comes around and shows that he can give his heart. Isla is so strong. I am not sure how she can be so strong. Between the two my heart was in their story all the way. Naomi delivers a wonderful story of two strong people that lose their way and then find their way back to one another. Each doing things wrong and then overcoming them. You can't help but fall in love with them both. Naomi has another fantastic series under her belt.

Boy did I love this book - it is so satisfying to read a book where in the beginning the foremost female character (Isla) is a little subserviant, and the male bigshot - Ciro (who just so happens to be a Don in a mafia) - is brought to his knees when said woman grows up and doesn't put up with his bologna, as much as she loves and desires him - nope, nada - uhuh!!!

He has tossed her away - for reasons he believes are to keep her safe - she leaves and starts a new life - he can't get her out of his mind, he has to find her and make her come back to him - but she has matured and he really has to work hard.

Loved it!!!!

You have out done yourself again. You are amazing with writing the MC series (Which I love them all), but this book I just couldn't put it down. I loved the back and forth in this book of how they loved each other, but wouldn't say anything to each other. I love to read books that have a secret child and how the father is wanting to spend time with the child now that they know there is a part of them out there. I hope it's like that with the other one's as well because I love that you have a female that is strong willed and stubborn when she is protecting her heart and her family. Thanks for the amazing read into the fantasy for a little while.

I really enjoyed this. Ciro is the kind of hero you can’t quite make up your mind about, he’s ruthless and controlling, but clearly shaped by his past in a way that makes him feel believable.

His fear of losing the people he loves added to the story and seeing his softer side with Pippa balanced him nicely.

The tension between him and Isla was strong, and the added danger kept things engaging.

If you enjoy second-chance romance with a possessive, flawed hero and a fair bit of drama, this is well worth a read.

I couldn't get enough of this book. It's an age gap, secret baby, second chance mafia romance that held me captive from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. And I liked the narrative. It is a well developed story that's written well. The characters were amazing and I loved seeing them find their way back to each other. An excellent start to a new series. I just finished reading His Dark Demands. It was amazing! It was like I was watching what I was actually reading. Kept you on the edge of your chair as to what was going to happen next. Had to force myself to put it down to get a bit of sleep, it kept me that involved with the characters. Can’t wait to read her next book!

The Remotti Brothers Book 1 blends several romance tropes including surprised pregnancy (my fav), age gap and second chances. The story centers on Ciro, a mafia dom, and Isla. After losing their way, they find their path back to each other. Isla says it best: “Karma was a b!tch.” This was a great start to a new series. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

This is a great start to the Remotti brother’s stories. I loved having Wolf and Storm in the story briefly. Ciro had to overcome his fears and Isla had to overcome her heartbreak. Cannot wait for future books in this series, especially Rosa, Roman and Lucas being involved in this story
