This book has my emotions in a kaleidoscope. Foreboding, fear, hope, rage, tenderness, suspicion, tenacity, hatred, rebellion, love, protection, grief, devastation, hopelessness. The complexity and extremes of what it is to be human are on raw display between these covers. I think Charlotte McConaghy is someone I am afraid to meet. I imagine there is not a single thought or emotion that one could hide from her.
