A short novella I am assuming to introduce us to Paul and his boyfriend John.
Paul's brother has stolen some meth and the gangs are after him so he goes down to Kent to try to find him and save him.
Very short book so just a flavor. not sure if we are getting anymore from these 2.

I was hoping that the author would return to these characters after Secret State: Enemy, so I was thrilled to read this novella continuing their story.
It follows on from the events of the first story, with Secret Service Agent Paul and his police officer boyfriend John enjoying some domestic bliss in Chatham, interrupted by a loose end from the previous adventure in the form of Paul's brother Mikey, a would-be criminal who completely lacks any common sense or self-preservation.
I thoroughly enjoyed the plot twists in this story, where Paul is increasingly torn between family loyalty and the man he loves. A really tense and satisfying read and I hope there's more to come from these two!
