This was a sweet, opposites-attract slice-of-life romance.
With the absolutely cutest, if you ignore the bodily fluids, meet cute 😂

This did not have any real mystery or P.O.O.F. intervention, like the previous books, or perhaps I should say not in an in-your-face manner.
This was an easy read, no real drama.
Some humor
A lot of heartfelt moments
Some internal conflict that involved facing insecurities and believing in oneself
Just an all-around sweet romance that gently tugs at the heartstrings

P.O.O.F. My Life!: A Bloodlines of Fate Story is the 4th book in the Twilight Temptations series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. This is the story of Kailu a half-elf/duergar portal mage and Grigor a bear shifter. I have loved this series from the start and this book fits in perfectly. I love these two so much. This was a sweet low angst story. I loved the characters and world building that went into this book. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

This is a sweet story. Kai is worried he would be too much for anyone with need to routines and schedules, but Fate doesn’t make mistakes. Grigor is perfect for him in every way. This is a fun read and I enjoyed these characters quite a bit. It was my intro to this series and now I think I need to go find some more of the stories set in this world.

Sometimes I wish there were magical forces at work to find all of us our fated mates. Then I realize that the magic of fated mates is the magic and I’m simply happy to escape into this world with Grigor and Kailu.
