Cami Checketts is a USA Today Bestselling author of over a hundred clean romance novels. Her journey began on an Idaho dairy farm daydreaming book ideas on her bike or tractor and landing herself in the hospital numerous times for head wounds. She settled down after college (retired the bike at least) to raise four crazy boys and write down all those fabulous ideas. Cami's life is busy but she thoroughly enjoys rarely living in reality.

The Devoted Firefighter

London and Fire Chief Maddox Greer have such a wonderful story. London ran from an abusive relationship and is hiding out on Shadow Cove Island thanks to her brother and his retired commanding officer. She does not date. Only two people on the island know her true last name and she is one of them. Maddox wants to know the quiet school teacher better. He will go as slow as she needs in order to help her fears. What will happen when her past comes calling? I highly recommend you read the book to learn more.

Maddox & London

A great Christian Romance and Suspense book! Cami did an excellent job of making this book into something that is very special. A great blend of romance & suspense mixed with a scary past. Maddox gentleness is very well done. London is running from an abusive past and he gives her the benefit of support. It is a very intriguing and interesting story. An ending that is well written.

What a wonderful Christian romantic suspense story. Maddox was so gentle and patient with London, who has escaped an abusive ex and refuses to date any eligible bachelors. Checketts crafted another well-done story filled with romance, danger, and healing.

Another sweet story in the Secrets of Shadow Cove series by Cami Checketts.
This is such a sweet story of patience and pure love.
London is the beautiful school teacher that refuses to date any of the eligible men on the island. Maddox is the fire chief who is very attracted to her.
This is the tenderhearted story of an emotionally injured woman and a patient man that find each other and healing begins.

patience is a virtue I thoroughly enjoyed

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Maddox & London’s story and how they depended on each other fully as their friendship grew into something more. I have to be honest and say it brought up some painful memories for me, but this story also spoke to me that I am the one that can turn what was meant as bad can be turned to good. So thank you for writing this book and as always I look forward to the next one in this series.

Maddox and London

This book is intense and intriguing. I enjoyed the suspense, the families, the friendships, and, of course, the romance. Maddox is so patient and thoughtful. London is battling her fears and her past. And London is brave and beautiful. If you love romance and suspense you will enjoy this book.

Maddox is a tough brave firefighter. Maddox is an elementary teacher struggling with a violent past and hiding on Shadow Cove from her ex-fiancé. Maddox is so patient and a true gentleman. Maddox turns to the Lord to heal and strengthen her. Wonderful!

London was in a situation that could ruin her for life. Fear was dominating her life. Maddox, a firefighter, was very interested in London. She was not dating anyone. She also had trust issues with men.
