I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end. To see the connection grow and how everything unfolded between the friendships and the romantic connections. It was a overall beautiful story of true and real love in the hardships that people go through in relationships. Trusting people when you’ve been broken so many times is always a gamble but when you open yourself up to love, there’s always a chance you’ll get hurt. I’m glad that they both found each other and took that chance I would definitely recommend this book.

Good read sweet story
Derrick and Carmen took the time and made sure friendship was first even though he was already into her. It just took her sometime and healing to realize when she was ready and not on anyone else's time.
This was a good read and worth the time to read it.
