The Onion Murder is a taut, unflinching exploration of memory, trust, and the subtle dangers hidden in love. Gordon’s precise prose and relentless tension make it quietly impossible to forget.

Genre: Psychological Thriller/Domestic Thriller

This was an entertaining and interesting book to say the least but I did get pulled in and out of the story. The onion has a big overall meaning for the ending which was like lol. I felt really bad for the FMC and her baby… and obviously the husband was just a butt..very suspenseful and it was a pretty good thriller for sure. I felt so much for the FMC and her baby… I’m not gonna say much about it just pretty deep emotions. Tensions are high and it’s very domestic. I enjoyed this just wanted more

Lila is used to dealing with her husband Malcolm’s moods, and his odd habits and quirks. All seems well, but you can feel Lila’s unease from the first page. Does she continue to try to be the perfect wife , or does she focus on being happy without him?

As she tries to remember the events of a terrible loss, Lila leans on her friends for support. Will she be free to share everything, or will some things remain lost forever?

A page turner, for sure.

This is a good domestic thriller that has impact. I love a thriller that is more than just an exciting and fast paced read. This one has substance as it digs into marriage and family pulling out women’s experiences and talking about what goes on behind closed doors at your neighbours houses. There are twists and turns and some very interesting characters that the author sets up for what looks like a series. Well worth a read as you want to know what happens next after the book is done!
