Creating Wealth From Scratch:
Originally titled "Four Seasons, Four Lessons" but revised, expanded, and retitled for the 2nd edition so as to better indicate the subject matter of the book.
This book contains a simple, yet profound business parable, and a discussion which relates to the potential value and power that ideas have to create wealth.
The goal of the book is both to inspire and encourage the reader to more closely examine their underlying beliefs as to the source of wealth.
In it the reader learns four important principles that any budding entrepreneur needs to understand.
- your most potentially valuable asset is not your money or your time, but rather something which is freely available to anyone that takes the time to notice.
- allow compounding time to act. If you "eat your profits" too soon, you'll have little to show for your efforts.
- ultimately leverage is what will get you to your goal. The good news is leverage is all around you when you know how to look.
- you've got to believe in yourself, even if no one else does. It's your vision--follow it and make it a reality. Don't give up. See it through!

What you give is what you get is an everyday phrase that definitely applies to Creating Wealth From Scratch. This tale isn’t long but it can make quite the impact in your life if you let yourself really take in the lessons presented to embrace your potential. Patience is a virtue and it is also a path to enlightenment, wealth and happiness. The story is simple and sounds like an age old fairy tale. The thing is that when you look at the story through the lens of your reality, its applications are plenty. So by all means, give this book a read and look for the takeaway, for it is there, if you give yourself the opportunity to see it.

I may be a bit biased :)
But I like the book. It's short and a very easy read, and yet I think it imparts some important lessons that are applicable to anyone. The mistake would be to read it quickly and go on. You're meant to think about how the lessons presented might apply to your own life. In that sense, everyone's reading of this story will be unique.
So far, it's gotten good reviews from those that have read it.
Plus it costs way less than a cup of coffee.

Knowing Chris Humphreys as I do, it was not surprising at the brilliance and yet easiness of this wonderful self-help book
It not only motivated me personally, but engaged my thinking very differently. We all live in a maze, a representation of one’s environment and look for happiness and success. We establish regular routines and get caught up in our day to day chaos which leads us to forget what it was like to be motivated, to be inspired and have aspirations.
Chris outlines the most important factors so easily and in parable form; that it wakes you up in a gleaming euphoria and with these intense feelings brings you to one conclusion: You are capable, you have potential, you have great influence and can truly make a difference in whatever your decided path may be. He is stating a fact that with great conviction, it is possible to turn the smallest idea into something grand and wonderful.
It is a journey to prosperity – With passion and drive; you can flourish, encompass creativity and hold what is true to oneself. He communicates the message with such reassurance that it broadcasts a sound so clear, that you can make it happen - just believe and value yourself.
My advice – definitely read and discover. Chris Humphreys will empower you with great confidence, guaranteed. I so look forward to the next insightful journey. Thank you so much for inviting me back into a state of belief and optimism.
