Dark Frontiers: Vampire Chronicles: Angels of the Wilderness

Rate this book
After the Civil War, frontier doctor Killian Obadiah Davis rides west seeking peace, but finds a nightmare waiting in the settlement of Redemption. Families vanish without struggle. Bodies are found drained of blood. And the creatures responsible move with impossible speed through the darkness.
Answering a call for help from an old comrade, Doc joins forces with sharpshooter Jed Raines, the deadly Irish gunfighter Declan Caine, U.S. Marshal Sylvanus Forrester, and steadfast saloonkeeper Patrick Godwin. Together, they stand, first in Redemption and finally, in Springfield, against a rising terror older than the West itself.
In the battle between the living and the dead, the frontier’s only hope may lie in a doctor who can heal with one hand and kill with the other.
Grit, gunpowder, and the undead collide in Book One of the Dark Vampire Chronicles.

Classic Gunslingers Vs Blood Sucking Children of the Night.

Join Doc, Declan, Jed, & Patrick in their battle against a blood thirsty pack of blood suckers. If like me, you grew up reading J. T. Edson and Louis L'Amour, along with vampire horror, then Kerry, "Doc" Davis's first book is going to be a pleasure to read for you. On the other hand, if you didn't read Edson or L'Amour, then read it anyway, because it'll still be a pleasure to read.
I couldn't put it down, and can't wait for book 2 in the series. Enjoy!

Angels in The Wilderness

Wow, hard to believe this is Doc's first book. Words so beautifully written it truly deserves to be read slowly and deeply.
A wild ride indeed careful this is one you can't put down. Fast paced not a boring word to be had.

Good book. There were a few little things that bothered me. I'm surprised D.A. didn't catch them.
But good book. I enjoyed it.
