Well. This was different. Way different to what I usually read. But it was consistently intriguing and I couldn’t stop turning the pages. A terrible past. An awful occupation. Meeting the one. The strength to escape. The lonely journey to healing. Then the salvation of love.

this is an absolutely fantastic book

I never thought I’d like a book about a contract killer (not exactly but basically) but this was a fabulous book. The combination of love and danger was handled magnificently. Read this, you’ll love it.

Fantastic. I loved Josephine’s character arc. The final act is deeply rewarding. I am a fan of Mandy Olivieri.

due to the size of this book the relationship and plot feels under developed. it has a strong plot but it just missing the extra bit that another 100 pages would’ve helped to deliver

Such an excellent spy vs. spy type story. I loved this line from the book when Josephine says to Greta, " I'd rather you tell me what eighty one feels like." Greta replies, " It feels like being thirty still, but with limitations." The author packed so much into this book that she could've made a few books out of this wonderful book.
