I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with.
I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters.
When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!

THE FAIRFIELD SERIES
Carol, Laurie, Emma and Jean along with Rob, Tom, Jake and Brock…4 wonderful love stories separate, yet brought together in Fairfield. I totally love the stories of how 4 couples first became lovers in each of their stories and best friends as a group. I thought I had read all of Maryann’s wonderful stories, but somehow I missed this whole wonderful series which I plan to reread…often.

What an awesome series, 3 full length novels in one set.
Emma's Home
Wow I don't even know where to start. For this to be Maryann Jordan's first novel, I can only imagine what comes after. Emma and Jake were both such strong characters. Yet they complemented each other so well. Add a little suspense and danger and this book had it all. I don't know what gave me the tingles more, when Jake called Emma babe, baby or Emma girl. I can't wait for Laurie and Rob 's story.
Laurie's Time
Laurie grew up never knowing her father and her mother dying when she was young. She was raised to adulthood by her aunt Emma ( 1st book Emma's Home) She moves away from everything she has always known and takes a job in Fairfield teaching. Laurie's roommate Carol takes her out to met some friends. One of which turns out to be the handsome hunk of a man she has seen around town Rob McDonald a known player. Rob a firefighter and alpha male has also seen Laurie around town and wants to get to know her, but Laurie doesn't want a player. Sparks start to fly between the two. Rob realizes his past has caught up to him and knows he must change in order to get Laurie.
Laurie's Time is a wonderful read. Showing two people going through changes in their everyday life and learning to love. It can be read as a stand alone story which is actual my favorite kind (Stand alone series books). I love the series and getting to know other characters in town and falling in love with Fairfield.
Carol's Image
Each book has been a standalone, but most of the characters overlap. In this book, we find out how Carol and Tom met and how they feel in love.
Tom a detective for the Fairfield police, is a strong alpha male, blond hair blue eyes and built.After getting hit by a car he awakes to a beautiful blond haired women leaning over him, what he calls an angel. Carol a nurse at the local hospital was at the scene but didn't stay around after paramedics arrived.There are a few twists and turns in the story that hold your attention and keep you turning pages.
If you enjoy hot alpha men, sweet loving women and hot steamy sex this is the book for you.You become involved in the characters lives and feel like part of their family. Maryann Jordan has written an exceptional series and I am sorry to see it end. I look forward to more wonderful books by her.

WOW!!!!
When I first stumbled on Maryann Jordan books I had no clue that the journey into the worlds of Carol's Image to Love's Taming to Alvarez Security to the new Serial Love books would ever let the reader have such a range of emotions, from tugging on the heart strings,laughter, tears of joy. Her books have very strong female characters that know they don't need a male in their life but choose to grab love with both hands and hang on for dear life no matter what gets thrown at them without any regrets. Knowing that they have a strong alpha male shoulder to lean on and loving hands that hold them close gives them even more strength when life throws them a curve. I recommend reading her books to any and everyone I can, you won't be sorry you did. I started reading them backwards with the Alvarez Series but caught up quick,fell in love with all. The first step is read Carol's Image, Laurie's Time, Emma's Home then run with it from there!

Three really great books all in one package! Maryann has a talent for bringing out emotions in her books. She pulls you into the story and you won't want to put them down. You can check out my reviews for each individual story under that books title!

Great series. Full,of angst, drama and a lot of suspense. A great cast of characters to fall in love with. A definite must read series
