Good Read.

I finished the Trash Droid Confessions series and loved it. I found this one ok, but the main character was a bit meaner to the spider bit than before. A bit overboard. The story also ended in a cliffhanger, which I hate.

I just cannot get enough of this series!
This book takes off after a little time has passed from the previous series, rather than immediately like previous books. The time lapse is welcoming. Our characters settle in on the outskirts of the city, practicing stealth and survival as to not get caught. Kyle being gone is not talked about, but it looms in my mind how Sarah might be feeling. Having Kenzie seems to be what keeps her going. Tedd begins feeling restless and takes Rachnot and Zig on a secret day trip, when everything goes haywire.
As usual, the pacing is quick and the banter is hilarious between the characters. Introducing Zig in the story brilliant. Now they are learning to live in a different world, where it is more difficult for free bots and droids to exist without being licensed to a human owner. While Zig is hilarious and fits right in with Rachno and Tedd, he seems to have some childlike elements in that he is new to the free life, and I found myself really connecting to the character emotionally.
I always have such anticipation and excitment getting to the last 25% of the book because I just KNOW something crazy or incredible is going to happen. I was not disappointed and very much looking forward to starting the next installment!!!

Loving the humour as usual - Awaits ban for quotes
It's been a good couple of months since my last Tedd book, and I'd forgotten how much fun and depravity they are
In this one Tedd, Rachno and Ziggy (the autonomous cab) are both back on the run and trying to rescue Sarah and McKenzie - anything else would be a spoiler.
Loving the humour as usual, but I can't add any quotes as my damn clipboard just deleted the three killer ones I had. I was looking forward to removing the certain words from them. The one about the type of people that live in palaces is a peach. And true.
"I shouldn’t make light of it. But some people must’ve ended up here because they’re cunts. It’s just the way of things.”
I hear you,” says Ziggy. “But you could say the same about people in the mansions, castles, and palaces of the world too.” “No, you couldn’t,” I reply. “Because all of those fuckers are cunts, pardon my language.”

Having survived the nukes and the Manager, Tedd, Rachno, Sarah and Kenzie are trying to survive in the new world. As new threats arise, Sarah and Kenzie are kidnapped, Tedd and Rachno go on the offensive, assisted by Ziggy the autocab.

Tedd is in trouble as always. Nice continuation from the first series.
