What if the thing hunting you was also the only thing keeping you safe?
Gia didn’t come to Ridgeway to fall in love; she came to disappear.
After escaping a violent past, she seeks safety and stability. Instead, she finds herself watched.
By day, he is Ridgeway’s untouchable protector, a man with a badge, the kind who keeps the danger at bay and earns the trust of everyone around him.
By night, he is something else entirely—a shadow that hunts the monsters the law can’t touch, a predator who leaves no trace and no survivors.
Except her.
Gia knows she should be afraid. She hates masks and understands what hides behind them, so why does the feeling burn instead of warn?
She trembles when she senses him near, convincing herself the unease is nothing more than her overactive imagination. But the doors she locks at night were never meant to keep him out, because there isn’t a lock in the world strong enough to protect her from a man who’s already inside and has no intention of leaving.
Even as she tells herself she’s stronger now, that she can face what once broke her and won’t be prey again, the deeper she’s pulled into his darkness, the more she aches to break against it.
And when the mask finally falls, there will be no running…because the man who hunts monsters has already chosen her.
A dark romance featuring obsession, stalking, predator/protector dynamics, fear-as-desire, touch her and die possessiveness, violence, and a guaranteed HEA.

If you’re looking for a book that grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go, I. AM. NIGHT by S.L. Knight is it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From page one, I was hooked on the intoxicating duality of the main character — the ultimate good guy by day, stalker by night vibe done so flawlessly it’s almost hypnotic. By daylight, he’s charming, dependable, the kind of man you’d trust without hesitation. But when the sun goes down? Everything shifts. The tension, the obsession, the razor-thin line between protection and possession — it’s dark, it’s delicious, and it’s impossible to look away.

S.L. Knight absolutely nails the psychological intensity. The writing is sharp and immersive, pulling you deep into a mind that’s both captivating and terrifying. I loved how the story makes you question your own moral compass — you find yourself rooting for someone you probably shouldn’t, and somehow it feels completely justified.

The atmosphere is thick with suspense, every interaction layered with meaning. The slow burn of unraveling secrets had me glued to the pages, and the twists? Perfectly timed and genuinely shocking. Nothing felt predictable. Nothing felt safe.

If you love morally complex characters, obsessive tension, and that pulse-pounding “should I be into this?” energy — this book delivers in every possible way.

Dark. Addictive. Unforgettable.

S.L. Knight has officially earned a forever spot on my auto-buy list. 🔥

I received an ARC from Book Sirens.

This is a dark stalker romance.
I was into from the start, but lost a bit of steam for me around the 50% mark.
The FMC seemed too pliable to me, and I desperately wanted more from her.
I of course loved Raze/Night...who is totally unhinged, in the best way :)
