Beautifully Written
This was a very beautifully written story that does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a SLOW BURN. Very slow. But the pace of the story completely makes sense with the characters and never feels as though it's going too slow.
Watching Petey become more and more bold and expansive in how he lived was lovely to see. And I can absolutely appreciate how steady and patient Carl was and that he was the exact right match for somebody like Petey.
I've really enjoyed this series so far and cannot wait for Otto's story.
