Want to read An office romance that has romance, banter, swoon-worthy moments, mischief, valentine's week celebration, jealousy, possessiveness, plannings & plottings? Then read this book right now.
Recently, I read a book on KU & I must say, it was worth reading. The cover & title was what captivated me & made me pick up this book. Also, it's a short read of 250 pages so, I picked it up. The book was beautifully written with a perfect storyline.
The story revolves around Raghav Khanna & Ishani Rao. Raghav hires Ishani as his secretary but starts getting attracted towards her. He has to maintain his reputation but wants to spend time with her & confess his feelings. Will he be able to do so? On the other hand, Ishani is a hardworking woman who's completely focussed on her work. She sees Raghav as her Boss but is that all? Or does she have any ulterior motives?
Both of them spend time together working, planning & executing their office work. They become friendly but then comes the Valentine's Week. Ishani starts receiving gifts in her office itself & people start betting it on a colleague of hers. Meanwhile, Raghav becomes more possessive towards her & keeps asking her to be careful from this so called "lover" of hers.
What happened next was so damn Romantic & unexpected. This book contains 2 plot twists. I only Guessed one of them but last one was totally unexpected & shocking to know. The writing was simple & the pacing was perfect. I loved the protagonists as well as the sideline characters.
It's a lovely read. What I loved the most was the ending of the book. It's different from the books we're reading nowadays but it's a happy one ofcourse.
