The last thing Celeste needs is to get distracted from her life-long goal: get into medical school. But when one application question has her realizing she lacks real-world relationship experience, analytical Celeste is determined to try and juggle it all through a carefully crafted dating experiment. Broody barista Dominic offers Celeste a helping hand as her matchmaker, vetting suitors and ensuring they meet the standards of The List. Unfortunately for them, love rarely follows a formula. Between terrible first dates, taxidermied creatures, and an ice cream shoppe that leaves them hot and bothered, Celeste and Dominic find themselves more entwined and drawn together than a double helix DNA strand.
S.H. Easton lives in Ontario, Canada with her supportive husband, two little ones, and one giant velcro dog. She has been a lifelong observer of love in its many forms. While in the trenches of maternity leave, she found solace in writing stories about familial love, romance, and a little humour. All Booked Up will be her debut novel. This story was one of those that came from the heart, and couldn’t wait to write itself.
Adored this spring vibes contemporary romance with strangers to friends to lovers Celeste & Dominic >>> they meet and their chemistry is sooo magnetizing you cant help giggling and staying up lead to read their story 🤩 and the ✨ YEARNING ✨ OMGGG CHEFS KISS. Throw in ❤️🩹 trauma healing and he falls first ; recipe for perfection
Thank you so much to the author for sending me this story to read, i enjoyed it so much.
Ok I cannot get over this debut novel! The author knows what she’s doing and I was happy to hear this is the first book of the Remington Hills series because I honestly can’t wait to read more from her!! I fell in love right from the start with the banter between the two main characters. Their relationship is so adorable and I loved the dual POV this book provides.
I rarely read a book that is laugh out loud funny but this one had me chuckling many times throughout the book. The character development was natural and the flow of the book was perfect for me. Extra points to the author for the small details like naming each chapter a different drink. I wish my university town had a Biblio & Brew when I was in school…not to mention a hot barista!
If you want a book you can’t put down and can’t wait to find out how it ends but at the same time want it to last forever because it’s THAT good, then this one’s for you! I would 100% recommend this book over and over again!
This is funny, full of heart, and has just enough spice. The pacing is great and the characters are three dimensional. Easton has written a beautiful, dual pov contemporary romance with realistic, but still sexy, plot lines. I love that the side characters felt as real to me as the main characters. I had several moments of real laughs out loud (I’m talking to you - flat earther date). I will definitely be reading what comes next in this series!
One of my friends recommended this Arc to me and I’m so happy that I got it! I flew through this book and guys, it got me in the feels (I cried, it’s fine lol).
This was a grumpy sunshine romance: Dom is a barista and Celeste is premed student. They both have their fair share of childhood trauma that has molded them into the adults they are today. Dom becomes Celeste’s matchmaker as she strives to find someone who checks all of the boxes!
My favorite part of this book was the friendship between Dom and June (Celeste’s mother). I also appreciated the side characters (Dom’s sister and Celeste’s best friend) as they added so much to the story!
I had so much fun with this book and honestly did not want to leave this world behind. It had me laughing out loud, giggling, and smiling from start to finish.
Dominic, the broody barista who works at a coffee shop/bookstore, and Celeste, the brilliant and ambitious heroine searching for a man who meets every item on her carefully crafted list, were such a joy to follow. Watching Dominic become her matchmaker and set her up on dates with different guys he thought she’d connect with was pure entertainment. The string of terrible dates turned into comedy gold, and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.
What made this book even better was the cast of characters. Every single one was lovable, memorable, and added something special to the story. This book brought me so much joy, and I found myself completely invested in the characters and their journey.
If you’re looking for a romantic comedy that’s funny, heartwarming, and guaranteed to make you smile, this is the book for you.
Thank you for this advanced copy of All Booked Up. This was fun and semi-quick contemporary romance involving a pre-med sunshine girl (Celeste) and a brooding black cat barista (Dominic). This book had humor, heart, a fun and unique premise, a good tension/buildup. I liked the added family dynamics that added layers to the story and gave it more substance. Definitely recommend this book for a lowkey summer read ☀️
I was fortunate enough to get to ARC read this debut novel.
I loved the development into friends and then something more. The moments of overcoming their childhood trauma & healing. This book was a very slow burn, with hints of spice being in the inuendos, flirting and banter. There were many moments of laughter. Overall this was a great debut by S.H Easton, I cannot wait to see more work as she continues to grow.
A charming debut filled with heart, humor, and enough yearning to keep me reading waaay past bedtime!! I absolutely adored this debut by S.H. Easton- matchmaking, coffee, and a baddie FMC, what more can you ask for. I loved the long-burn that happened between Celeste and Dominic, and I can't wait to hopefully read more about their story in another book!!! Highly recommend.
ps. I loved that each chapter title was that of a beverage!!
✦POV: Dual Celeste and Dom are both flawed, hurt, and realistic characters. I was hooked by their meet-cute and the dates that Dom set her up on were equally appalling and hilarious.
✦Spice: Open door One scene at the end was set up with great tension through the book. I was so hyped for it when it came and Dom delivered.
❝I’ll say your name like a prayer, Celeste.❞ ☝️ This one gave me the good shivers. 🔥😮💨🫠
» Celeste’s mom and best friend both play significant roles; those strong relationships were a bright spot.
✩ A moment for June (Celeste’s mom) and her champion level meddling!
❝She gleams like sunshine incarnate but steals your breath like a full harvest moon… Her poison might be the sweetest way to go…❞
♡ This was a great debut with a solid premise. I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next!
Expect ❥ Grumpy/ sunshine ❥ Matchmaker ❥ Yearning! ❥ Hurt/ comfort ❥ Banter ❥ Found family
⚠️ Please check trigger warnings and read with care.
I’ve read this book through twice now, and I can’t wait to read it again! Celeste is like sunshine in a cup, I love her so much. Dom is the broody, hot guy, but hearing his inner dialogue about Celeste makes me melt. 💕
I love Celeste’s relationship with her Mom, it’s the most special and protective thing. I also love her relationship with her best friend so much! They make me laugh and are totally relatable 🥰
Hearing Celeste and Dom work through their childhood trauma, makes me want to pick up both of the child versions of them and wrap them in a safe, cozy, blanket 😢 but truly watching them fall for each other and feel safe in their relationship is the icing on the cake of this sweet story.
I laughed (Peggy) I cried (Hospitals), I blushed (🌶️) and I smiled (🌻) S.H. Easton, I can’t wait to read EVERYTHING you write!!

I adored this book! I don’t know what I loved more- the swoonworthy MMC Dominic (big reader, cooks amazing food, makes a good latte, tall, handsome, and covered in tattoos… ), or the vivid cast of supporting characters I fell in love with. I wasn’t expecting to get to know the best friend, sister, mom, etc as much as we did but I love them all and want to move to this town to play Scrabble with Celeste’s mom.
All the failed dates as part of the matchmaking/dating experiment had me laughing out loud. I love a good slow burn, and the tension and chemistry between Celeste and Dominic throughout the book were on point.
I was honestly so impressed by this debut novel, and CANNOT WAIT for the next book in the Remington Hills series.
Book Review All Booked Up SH Easton Contemporary Romance
What Its Got ✅ Strangers to friends to Lovers ✅ Peggy aka Dominic- dark, broody, inked ✅ Hoot aka Celeste- premed, caretaker ✅ Dual POV ✅ Grumpy vs Sunshine ✅ Found family ✅ Open door with intense yearning ✅ Healing journey
Thoughts I adore the nicknames, the humour was LOL funny These characters are not just one sided, each has their own healing journey from past trauma bringing an added layer of depth and complexity that feels authentic The side characters (Maria, Rick, Vic) are amazing and genuine
Overall A phenomenal debut- I cant wait to see what SHE does next
Thanks to the author for my physical copy in return for an honest review
Celeste and Dom were sooooo cute!! This book felt super realistic to me. Like I could see my friends going through this exact situation and I loved that about it. We learned so much about both of their, with their upbringing really molding who they are now.
I loved everything about June as a character as well. She was so fricken sweet and I absolutely teared up at the part with her and Dom, you'll know when you read it which part i'm talking about. I also loved Celestes relationship with her best friend-it was so wholesome and perfect for what she needed in life!
Overall I really enjoyed this book! Thank you so so much for letting me read it easy! ❤️
All Booked Up was a book I knew I needed to ARC read as soon as I saw it. First of all, the cover is just everything.
Celeste is our no nonsense FMC whose one goal in life is to make it into medical school. Somehow, that turns into a dating experiment where we meet our grumpy matchmaker, Dominic.
I love how their friendship and feelings grow and evolve so organically. It was a quick paced book and I thought the drink names as chapter names was such a fun touch. Highly recommend you check out this slow burn romance!
All Booked Up was an adorable story! It was a sweet romance with a little kick of spice.
I would definitely describe this Strangers to Friends to Lovers romance as a slow burn. However I feel it was definitely needed so we could experience everything along with the MCs. Dom bonding with Celeste's Mom. Dom's sister and Celeste's best friend. Dom and his sister.
I found myself laughing out loud at a few of Celeste's dates, but also crying when a certain situation happens.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it.
📖 I found this just okay. I had higher hopes going into it but something was just lacking. The chemistry between Celeste and Dominic was great and I enjoyed the relationships with the side characters, but the reasons for not just being together didn’t feel like good enough reasons and I didn’t really understand her needing to date a bunch just to get ‘real world experience’. I felt like we could have dived into deeper conversations with the MC’s together rather than just internal struggles, so a lot just felt like it was repeating.
I adore Celeste and Dom, the story was so well written, all the characters were amazing, especially Delaney and June and I adored the back stories for both Dom and Celeste. I loved that they both were not acknowledging their potential feelings for each other and it was just so sweet seeing their story unfold.
Love SH Easton's debut novel so much! I love, love and loved the slow burn so much. As a sucker for friends to lovers, this book hit the right spot so well. The banter and chemistry of the two main characters, flies off the page and is so well executed. I feel like I'm right there witnessing these two characters fall in love! Congratulations, and excited to read the next book in the series!
Was fortunate enough to get an ARC copy of this book and I'm so grateful and happy I did! Dom and Celeste are likeable, the dates are hilarious and I got the whole book read in 4 days. Couldn't put it down every single night. Hope Easton can have a second book come out soon, so excited!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of "All booked up".
Let me tell you I was hooked from the first page and could not put it down! I love a slow burn romance from strangers to friends to lovers.
I love the relationship dynamics between the main characters : Dominic was in love from the first time he saw Celeste and the way he even bonded with June was adorable. It was funny and sad and I felt all of the emotions in this book. The story line kept me engaged and wanting more.
I really hope there is another book, I will definately be reading!
ARC Review 5⭐️ All Booked Up is a super sweet slow burn grumpy x sunshine romance. I fell in love with Celeste & Dominic from the beginning their chemistry was spot on! I couldn't put this one down, I'm definitely looking forward more books from S.H. Easton!
