I adore Gary Chapman's marriage books and this one fit the bill for what I've come to expect from him. The Five Love Languages is a book I think everyone needs to read to deepen their relationships and this devotional serves to reinforce his philosophy. However, I don't know that this was much different from the first volume of the devotional. I would recommend one or the other, or to spread them out over time.

This devotional really helps me focus on how I can help in my marriage. I can't change him but I can absolutely change me and with this devotionals help I'm learning how to make him feel loved and it gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am doing my best.
