Violent Vows #1
Bleed for Me: A Dark MM Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance
They put a ring on my finger and a Falcone in my bed.
Alessandro Falcone is cold, calculating, and everything I was raised to destroy. He wears his suits like armor and his silence like a blade, and our fathers sold us to each other to stop a war I've been fighting since I was fifteen.
I'm supposed to hate him. I'm supposed to break him.
I wasn't supposed to find out the war was a lie — that our fathers manufactured every death, every hit, every body I buried — to line their own pockets.
I wasn't supposed to watch the Prince drop his mask and find something underneath that's darker and hungrier than anything I've seen in a mirror.
And I definitely wasn't supposed to pin him to a wall and realize the only honest thing in my life is the mouth of the man I married at gunpoint.
Now we know the truth. Now we have the proof.
And the two men who built us into weapons just became our targets.
Bleed for Me is a dark MM mafia romance containing explicit content, dubious consent, and violence. Reader discretion advised.
This is Book one in the Violent Vows series. This is a complete standalone romance with an HEA. The overarching series conflict continues across future books, each featuring a new couple.

Nello studio fu consumazione.

2 versions in 1 book
Overall plot is interesting, but it reads like 2 versions of the same story when you switch between POV’s/chapters. Not sure if that makes this AI, but it does make it a bit confusing to follow when the next chapter starts and it goes back a touch in the plot and then changes what happens from the previous chapter.

The concept of this book is great. It could have been a really awesome book, five stars even. Who tf edited this book? They start off some of the chapters with a little bit of a recap from the last chapter and some of the lines they were saying didn’t even add up. The same way it keeps saying their wedding bands clanged together when they were holding hands in the car, and I don’t know how that’s possible when it’s not even the right hand to begin with. I don’t know…There was so much potential. The side characters were good, the whole rival families thing was also good. If it was written a little better, it could have been a great book. 🙃

I liked the premise of the book and the writing but it seemed as if two people were writing the chapters and not communicating what was to happen.
I made it 95% through the book before getting too annoyed. First the Russian MOB boss leaves when told and the two dads are unharmed and then in the next chapter hes captured and one dad is killed????
you need to read the book through and make sure it makes sense before publish.

DNF at 43%. Great concept, poor execution. One chapter ends with a concluded scene/situation, and the next begins in the middle of the same scene/situation and the plot unfolds completely differently. I had to check couple times if I red the ending of previous chapter correctly, cause the beggining of the next chapter didn't make sense. There're also missing sentences in conversations. Can't say if it's poor editing or some new, not making sense way of constructing narrative. Couldn't get behind it. Reading this book was more confusing and irritating than enjoyable.

DNF
I liked how it started and then got to 19% and couldn’t I just could not look past what rhe MMC did to the other on their wedding night and how it was just accepted and then they moved on so fast -maybe it’s acknowledged future in but it’s a no for me …

Did Not Finish
June 16, 2026Arranged marriage is my catnip, love it. The blurb sounded good so I decided to try it. However I had to DNF due to editing issues and failure to provide correct CW.
Now, straight up, the CW states dub-con. I’m wary of dub-con but am willing to give it a go in the right circumstances. However this isn’t dub-con, it is outright rape. Killian even refers to it as rape. Just to confirm he rapes Alessandro on their wedding night.
The editing, we finish a chapter with both characters at home. We the start the next chapter where they are back in the car heading home - no it’s not the next day, the ‘author’ just decides to go back in time? Piss poor editing, like did no one read this prior to uploading to Amazon…
This ‘author’ also churned out 4 x books in the space of 2 x weeks.

AI
The more you read, the more inconsistencies, the more repeated story with different development from one chapter to literally the next one. It shows then that it wasn’t written by a person but by an AI and that the “author” didn’t even bother to do a single reread before publishing it; the only reason I didn’t give one star is because the story is good - it could have been good, literally one reread would have fixed so much

I'm only about 100 pages in but I'm so confused. the beginning of a chapter seems to be a retelling of the end of the previous chapter. I don't know if it's a deliberate act by the author or if it's some kind of mistake with erased chapters somehow showing up on the final copy of the book.
if anyone gets this please explain to me. in the meantime I think I'll just drop this book

I’m actually not sure this was edited before it was published. What story is trying to be told? Is it one or two books?
Also, it’s gotten to this point in books and I can’t believe it needs to be said. “Dubious consent” and “rape” are two very different things and I wished authors would stop using one to justify writing the other. It’s rape. Put “non-con” in the content warnings and move on.

One chapter recounts events in a certain way, and the next retells them with major changes. This book hasn't been edited or proofread, and I suspect it was written by AI—if not entirely, then certainly a large part of it. Furthermore, the author needs to learn the difference between dubious consent and a lack of consent. It’s a shame that such a good plot was wasted due to poor writing.

Potentially could have been a great book but 19% in I had to double check I was reading the same book. Chapter ended and the next chapter started before the end with a completely different plot.
If a new edit comes out may return

Is this book made by AI?? Because that's the only plausible explanation for these two POVs ending one way on one page and starting completely differently on the next, so much repetition, information that changes throughout the story, and so many unnecessary "—"s, clearly not revised or corrected.

The plot was mildly interesting...
But what the f*ck is the editing and jumping between POV'S?
I dont want to read what I just read but from a completely different view that changes what I just freaking read a second ago completely...

Did anyone at least try to edit this? It looks more like a rough draft than the final product. It's a real shame because it had a lot of potential; I couldn't even get past 20%.
