Knowing if she doesn’t follow the visions, her father will find her another husband, she embarks on a journey to find what is calling her from France to a cave in the mountains of the new world.

Will she find her destiny at the end of the journey or will she lose it all?

This book is a fated mates, paranormal romance and is a prequel to Evolution City MC: District 2 novellas which will release in February 2027.

I absolutely love any book I've read by Nat Logan, and this one did not disappoint. I was excited to read it, as it provides insight into the creation of District 2 Evolution City MC. The prequel gives a starting point for two characters. I always enjoy reading about a couple that launches a series, and this book definitely did that. Rex, a dragon shifter, tells the story of how he followed his instincts to find his mate, a human named Angelique, and how their lives changed, transformed, and grew over the centuries. I was surprised and excited that she found a way to crossover to her Bluff Creek series as well. I'm ready to read this series to see where she takes us and what other surprises she has in store for us.

What can I say? I truly love Nat Logan's books. The sense of family, the protective instincts of both the male and female characters, women who don't just roll-over, and always an interesting storyline.

And, here there be dragons! This is the prequel to a multi-author series coming out in 2027, many of which are authors I already enjoy. The premise is unique and this prequel gives us a sense of the history that will lead into the series. And we might just see some familiar faces!

The MC references are later in the book, which will make sense as you read through it. And I do hope you read through it.

This is a wonderful book in the Evolution City MC series, this one is District 2 and is Rex who is a dragon shifter and Angelique who is human. This is a prequel so we learn how District 2 comes about and there’s an appearance from some friends from The Bluff Creek Brotherhood MC. We see the progression of their family and the start of the district and I’m looking forward to reading more in this series.🖤❤️

Nat Logan's take on shifter romance is a breath of fresh air. This one started out really slow for me. To the point where I almost dnf'ed it, but I was reading it while in a sort of captive situation, so I kept going. Things got better once we finally reached modern times. I find myself intrigued with what happened to make them put the world into districts and how that goes over when the general public realizes magical creatures are real. I'll now be looking forward to checking out more books in this series.

I really enjoyed Rex's story. I like how Nat had the Bluff Creek MC tied into this story. I enjoyed hearing about them. It's been awhile. I have read that whole series. I am looking forward to Evolution City MC.
