Alice returns to the river to help her brother, not to stay. Then the sky turns green. Phones die. Cars stop. Planes fall. Cut off with no power and no help coming, she must face the truth. This isn’t a blackout. Civilization has collapsed.
This was an exciting and interesting tale of a world disaster that took out all energy sources and communication abilities between other areas. It was probably more realistic about the variations in survivalist human natures. It’s a read I feel was very insightful and I recommend it.
It was basically a good book. However, you wrote a book where a wonderful dog was a large part. He saved lives and would have given his own. Yet, at no point did u ever feed him? Were u hoping he would find his own food. Therefore I cannot provide a really good rating.
I am always down for some dystopia. I feel like this book had some solid potential but felt rushed -- especially the last 8% or so of the book that seemed to really drift and have multiple events that weren't flushed out enough or as relevant. Still an enjoyable read.
The story had potential. It had an unusual plot line for the most part for an EMP book. My problem was with the author switching names of characters, leaving words out of sentences, and misspelling words. A competent reader could have caught the errors making this an enjoyable story.
