Another great installment in the Sirians series. The plot thickens, the world expands, the secrets are revealed, the prophecy unfolds, the spice is spicing and the pain is devastating.
This 4th book seemed a little more romance heavy compared to the previous books. Davidson has been very upfront with the fact that this series contains a love triangle turned why choose/throuple situation. That little development finally comes to fruition here. But we also have Elly's POV and subsequently more of the romance between her and Pax. As well as more romance between other side characters. However, with all this romance comes a lot of character growth for everyone, which I loved to experience.
This book takes all our characters on different 'side quests' that ultimately lead to extremely plot-important reveals and revelations. All the puzzle pieces are starting to slowly come together and I am so excited to see how everything plays out in the final book.

Thank you so much for allowing me to read the ARC of the fourth installment of your series.
I will absolutely be continuing the story. I am fully invested in these characters and where their journeys are leading. The overall plot in this book is strong and compelling. At times, however, the storyline felt as though it extended beyond its natural stopping point, which made portions feel drawn out and somewhat diluted the impact of the plot.
That said, the last 100 pages truly salvaged the book for me. The anticipation and steady build in the final chapters were gripping and meaningful. The momentum at the end solidified my excitement and clearly established the need for the next installment.
Reva is an incredible FMC. Throughout this storyline, the development of a powerful, female-dominated presence is strongly evident. Her growth and positioning within the narrative showcase clear themes of female empowerment, which I appreciated.
For readers who enjoy spicy, diverse stories centered around strong female characters, this book will likely be a great fit. As an avid reader, I am rarely bothered by romantic or intimate elements in a story. I often feel that well-placed spice enhances a narrative. In this case, however, the level of explicit content felt excessive at times and ultimately detracted from the narrative's strength. The story occasionally felt disjointed due to the heavy emphasis on intimate scenes and additional elements that pulled focus away from the core storyline.
Hollis has been one of my favorite characters since book three. I did not feel that the depth of the intimate scenes was necessary to make the relationship compelling. The emotional connection and development of the love interest would have been engaging on their own without such detailed physical elements.
Regarding the developing throuple dynamic, it is what it is and will likely resonate with the intended audience.
Overall, I am hopeful that the next book finds a stronger balance where the writing feels more fluid and the spice enhances rather than overwhelms the plot. I am invested enough to continue, and I am genuinely looking forward to seeing where this story goes next.

This book is even more disappointing than book three when the Author started the sexploits between Tariq and Reva. The actual story in Book 4 encompasses approximately 200 out of the 700 pages. The remainder of this book is drivel, fill and PORNOGRAPHY. I don't know what happened to this Author. Possibly her publicist encouraged her to turn her story raunchy to get more sales. I will not even be finishing the last 200 pages as for over 100 pages, all we get is explicit sex. What does this have to do with the story? She has lost the power of the storyline. I will no longer be purchasing any of her books. DISAPPOINTING

Katie. Gorgeous. I was curious to see where this book would go, honestly it was interesting that it was all set up for the coming war but, it actually made a lot of sense. As usual, the relationships and politics were on point… as well as your usual devastation of my heart. Why are you so good at that?

March 10, 2026I absolutely devoured this book. I love the Sirians series, and this is my favorite book in the series. I cannot wait for book five!
This story brings everything together from the last three books. From characters communicating and connecting, to unknown lineages and histories being revealed, it’s a complex puzzle near completion. It was so fun getting each reveal and answers to questions throughout the read!
I love how the characters are comfortable and interact freely with each other. It makes them feel relatable and human. I also appreciate how Tariq, Fin, and Reva are all there for each other. Not just romantically, but emotionally. They care for each other, and that’s awesome.
The royal politics are very interesting, too. It causes great suspense throughout the book, creating conflict for the characters and their established romantic relationships. Will they be forced to say goodbye and enter into a political marriage? Or is there another way?
This novel is intended for audiences ages eighteen and older. Be aware that there is a lot of explicit sexual content in this book, so if you’re like me and open-door spice isn’t your cup of tea, be prepared to skip some pages.
