I was hoping for more hands-on guidance, but it’s mostly stories.
As a counselor at a community center, I’m always looking for solid material on alternative approaches. With this one, I didn’t really get a how-to guide or step-by-step method. It’s more of a collection of personal stories meant to build credibility around tapping, covering a wide range of issues. Some of the stories are genuinely interesting and human, but if you’re looking for clear structure and practical instruction, it falls short. I’d rate it 3 stars.
I like that Tapping is evidence based, And can prevent and treat a wide range of physical and psychological conditions. It is a great toolkit for my every day’s stresses. It empowers me to heal faster, I feel better in sometimes just a few Minutes!. I hope it will help me break free from bad habits a little bit easier. I love all the little stories, a couple of them match my life which makes it easier for me to understand and move ahead. It’s cool that you can tap on… : anxiety, money blocks, self-worth, grief, imposter syndrome, procrastination, forgiveness, success, visibility, fears, trauma imprints, limiting beliefs, and emotional stress that keep us stuck..and more. I can’t wait to learn more EFT/tapping to removes what blocks me in some of these areas, and live my best life.
I enjoyed reading about all of the lives that have been changed through EFT. It is an amazing practice and so flexible that it can be added in with other modalities. I highly recommend this book.
