As a mom of four boys under 5, I’m always looking for something that speaks to my heart in the middle of the chaos—and Wisdom for Parenting has been so refreshing. I love that it’s not just a “how-to” parenting book, but one that points me back to Christ and reminds me that God is working in me just as much as He is in my children . The daily reflections have helped me slow down, refocus, and parent with more intention and grace. It’s been such a grounding resource in this season of motherhood, and I truly feel encouraged every time I open it. This is one of those books I know I’ll keep coming back to.

This little 5-week devotional on wisdom for parenting is a gem! It offers Biblical wisdom using relatable experiences and an approachable tone. It is like having a conversation with your best mom friend. Sharonda speaks life-giving truth as she points mamas to Jesus by asking them to examine their own hearts as they nurture their babies from the cradle to college. Each daily reading ends with a “Wisdom Principle” and a couple reflection questions with space to journal answers.
Regardless of your stage of parenting, this book is a worthwhile read. Go ahead–grab a copy! It will give life to your mama’s heart.

I got to read an early copy for endorsement!

Sharonda, in "Wisdom for Parenting," shares her experience navigating the challenges of motherhood with a gospel lens. She invites mothers of all ages to step outside sentimentality to find true, lasting wisdom grounded in the gospel. There is no manual for a Christian mom; our experiences are wide and varied. Rather than one-size-fits-all advice, Sharonda helps mothers connect to identity in Christ, face sin head-on, find true hope in suffering, and release control to the one who has proven himself trustworthy.
