The DeFlore Family

Chloe has always had to live her life according to her family's values…loyalty, duty, tradition. So when her father offers to put her through college, she dares to hope of pursuing a life of her own. It sounds like a dream come true…until he calls on his favor and she finds herself as CEO in enemy territory. Can she fulfill her debt to her family without walking into the crosshairs? Or does she step right into them when fate puts Parker McGinley in her arms?

The Del Vecchio Family

Firstborn son of Don Marco, Derek lives and breathes his role as the next in line. But as he steps into his own future and feels stifled by his father’s rule, tensions between the family grow and something must give before it breaks. To make matters worse, someone has started buying out companies within his territories and it looks like the one responsible is his best friend…who’s also parading around Seattle with the woman he has claimed as his.

Meanwhile, Chloe’s guarding a secret to protect her family…can she keep it hidden from the two rivaling mafia families? Or will the pressure of broken hearts and relationships reveal everything when it spirals out of control?

Definitely a book that’s worth reading! You can truly feel the emotion from each character. Nothing felt flat or thrown in just for effect. The way the author describes everything really sets the scene perfectly. I never felt confused or lost. I felt completely pulled into their world. I can’t tell you how many times I was on the edge of my seat while reading this. The tension builds in a way that keeps you hooked, and it’s hard to put down once you start.
