I devoured this. There is so much depth to the characters, a few plot twists, and all the emotions. Gabriel and Willow go through it - individually and together - and watching them navigate the challenges and successes had me hooked.

What a wild ride. Willow is a single mom that makes a terrible mistake to save her family. Her boss, Gabriel finds out and gives her just two options. Of course she picks marriage over prison. The chemistry and banter between them was so good. The plot had a few twists and turns along the way. We see Gabriel's softer side and lean about his past. Willow is strong and fierce and fights for her family.

The story and action start on page one and I love how the story progresses. I loved Gabriel and Willow so much! Watching their love story unfold was amazing. I loved all the characters and I really hope Aella and Kennedy get a boon of their own!!

Is he perfect - no but when he loves, he loves hard! Willow is the perfect human, she is so true, so kind that you can’t help but love her and want the best for her! Gabriel’s intentions with Willow may begin with selfish reasons and Willow is just trying to survive and keep her son, Grayson safe. Bad intentions turn into good intentions! A kind of Pretty Woman type story, which I absolutely fell in love with Gabriel and Willow! A billionaire boss, single mom, blackmail, fake /forced marriage, age-gap, lies, secrets, twists, he falls first and hard, yearning, banter, slow burn and the perfect spice! I’m all for boss/employee, age gap romances! With a single mom too, and a little blackmail with the fake/forced marriage trope, yes please!
Willow is forced to make a decision to protect her and her son’s life. It’s the only option she has when masked men ambush her for the debts that her no good ex wracked up. In that moment she does what she has to do and steals from her boss Gabriel to save herself and her son. That moment seals her fate to Gabriel who has been waiting for an opportunity to be married to present a more stable front to his Father so he can take over the family business.
Willow is this incredibly brave and resilient young mom to her sweet baby boy. I loved seeing her feel cherished by Gabriel and openly welcomed by his parents, especially his mom who adores her and Grayson.
Seeing Gabriel’s walls shatter in both Willow and Grayson’s presence was cathartic as heck. After what he experienced in the past seeing him open himself back up to love not only as a husband but a father too made me so emotional. He becomes utterly devoted to Willow and Grayson; extremely protective and considerate.
“The second my body fused to yours on the dance floor, I felt as if heaven replaced hell and your touch was my salvation.”
Ugh, the ending… while incredibly painful it fit the story so beautifully. When the truth is revealed and the lies that couldn’t stay buried any longer are revealed the happy bubble that Gabriel and Willow worked so hard to create comes crashing down. Their time a part was tumultuous but so needed. Gabriel took the time, while broken and saddened, to better himself for Willow and Grayson. That scene at the end where they run into each other at the cafe after months apart and he says “you can see me again”absolutely gutted me. The love and devotion he felt never waned, in reality it only intensified and seeing Willow again solicited his need to never let her go again. The chemistry between these two is insane and the spice totally had me blushing.
“I’ve only ever loved one woman, and I happen to still be married to her.”
Coerced Vows is a true rollercoaster of emotions from hate to love, joy to anger and confusion in the best way. I become immensely invested to see how it ended, and was thrilled for the much deserved HEA that Gabriel, Willow, and Grayson got.

I knew he had a darker side, but the plot twists absolutely shook me, and watching him try to pull himself out of the darkness had me pulling for him. I can’t wait to read Kennedy and Aella’s story, cause I just know they’ll keep me on my toes.

Until now, Willow’s life has been a series of misfortunes that have really tested her. But with a son depending on her, she is willing to go to any lengths to keep her little family safe, even if it means being blackmailed into a marriage of convenience with her ruthless boss, Gabriel.
I just want to start off by saying that THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD.
Truly, Gabriel surprised me in the best way. On the surface, he gives major grinch energy, closed off, stern, and emotionally distant, but underneath all of that was a man with a heart of gold. He shut himself down a long time ago (and honestly for good reason) but watching him slowly come back to life, reconnect with himself, and let love in again was so satisfying to read! His growth felt earned, not rushed, and that was what made me fall for him even harder.
My homegirl Willow was an absolute warrior. This girl has been through a lifetime of sadness and struggle and yet she never stopped fighting for her son or her own happiness. I was rooting for her the entire time and seeing her finally be accepted into a family that truly cared for her felt so healing. I also really loved her relationship with Vivian, because we need more mother in laws with hearts like hers in romance books.
The ending was a tough read and incredibly emotional, it really hit home with the realities of life, but their happily ever after truly felt earned. I would honestly kill for a bonus epilogue, but at the same time, it ended perfectly in its own way and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Going into this, I honestly did not really know what to expect since Amarie Collins is a new for me, but I was completely blown away by the writing, the depth of emotion, and how much I ended up loving Gabriel and Willow together. I am already so excited for Kennedy and Aelia’s chaotic book, because if this one is anything to go by, it is going to be wild.

What a fast-paced story! It was so fast I felt many things just happened because the sake of them being there, not for the story to be good. Everything happened so fast from the very beginning of the book. Even the ending was happening so fast without the real details of explanations. I didn't like the rushing feeling I got from this book.
The premises were intriguingly good. The first half of the book was good too. Still fast paced but enjoyable and make sense in a way the story carried on. However, after 70% or something, when the real plot twist (?) appeared, the story became so rushing. The plot itself had really good potential but unfortunately the delivery was not it.
I usually didn't mind when the pace of the book I read was fast, however this book was not only fast paced but rushing too. Not only that, there were also many things happening at once. Especially around 70% to the end of the book. Everything happened so fast yet until 99% of the book, there was no real solution for both characters.
The time gaps were also my problem with this book. There were many important scenes happening but after that there were time gaps. For me, it was like important stuff just barely mentioned and solved was the main theme of this book.
The relationship between Gabriel (MMC) and Willow (FMC) was of course happening fast too. Fortunately I liked both Gabriel and Willow. They both had flaws but I understood why they acted like that. I just wish their relationship was delivered deeper because their story had so much potential.

He is intimidating and ruthless, but as time passes, he begins to soften for her and her son. taking care of her in ways he never thought he would again.
Willow is such a soft hearted, loving character. The way she felt bad lying to his parents about their marriage made me love her even more. She didn't have to respect anyone, she didn't own any of them anything. But she was just truly a compassionate, caring character.
As they start falling for each other though and the lines between them become blurred, Willow is confronted with the truth of all that happened and now Gabriel must really fight to be with her if he wants her back.
I loved the character growth from Gabriel throughout the story. He thought he moved past his traumatic heart breaking past with his ex, but learns that he truly never moved past any of it until he gets real help.

It starts off right into the story, no story building, bam! It’s crazy what people will do is desperate situations. In no way did she think she would get away with stealing, she should have known the repercussions of doing so, but then again when you’re in a bind, you’re not really thinking.
Their relationship starts off physical and the emotional part and then getting to know each other is slow. Personally I like those 2 things to be swapped, I want burning and everything about her to be want you want but it’s nice to see a relationship grow. However the story is fast pace. I would have liked to see their relationship grow. They go from getting married straight to being a couple, wanted more of a transition.
Can we talk about how finally there’s a rich mom whose supportive and kind!? That’s a feat in itself. Love that!
I love the subtle small things like gently caressing her shoulder or seeing her eyes light up for something at the auction and buying it for her. Too cute.
This book is a lot less subdued than other books this author has written. Just goes to show she can write multiple genres. I enjoyed it and liked seeing a different side to this author. Coerced Vows by Amarie Collins pulled me in from the very first chapter and refused to let go. The pacing is relentless in the best way, every reveal, every confrontation, every emotional shift just keeps tightening the grip.
Willow is such a refreshingly innocent FMC. There’s a softness to her that never feels weak, just genuine and pure in a way that makes you want to protect her. Watching her navigate everything thrown at her while still holding onto that core of who she is made her incredibly compelling.
Gabriel, on the other hand, is guarded, distant, and very much carrying the weight of his past. His standoffish nature makes sense as the layers of his trauma are slowly peeled back. I loved that his backstory wasn’t dumped all at once, the steady reveal kept the tension high and the emotion even higher. You feel why he is the way he is.
The drama in this book does not let up. It’s a bumpy ride from start to finish; intense, emotional, and sometimes heartbreaking. And the slow burn? Absolutely worth it. The way their relationship builds, piece by piece, was fabulous. You can see the trust forming, the walls cracking, and it makes every small moment between them feel huge.
If I had one complaint, it’s that the ending wrapped up a little too quickly for me. After such a high-intensity journey, I would have happily read another 50 pages just to let everything breathe a bit more. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.

Gabriel Reed, he is broody, work-a-holic but beneath that hard exterior he is sweet and kind. A side of himself he only reveals when he forces Willow to marry him. A single mom that despite all the horrible hardships she has endured, still stays positive for her son. I really loved this book and start of a new billionaire series, the flashbacks transition so well, the character development is perfection and the plot twist!!! Goodness, I was not expecting it at all. But most of all, the love that these two have for each other is beautiful and spicey! If you like to read billionaire books, I think you’ll love this one!

The slow, deliberate sexual buildup was one of my favorite parts — it never felt rushed, and the anticipation made every interaction between the characters that much more intense.
The plot itself kept me fully invested. Just when I thought I had a handle on where the story was going, a twist came out of nowhere and completely changed the direction of the book. It was unexpected without feeling forced, and it added so much depth to the overall story. The redemption arc for the MMC was another standout for me. Watching his character evolve felt earned and believable, which made it easy to root for him by the end.
Beyond the romance and spice, the emotional payoff was incredibly satisfying. This is one of those books that gives you that giddy, can’t-put-it-down feeling — the kind where you’re constantly sneaking in “just one more chapter.” Everything came together beautifully, and the balance between tension, emotion, and passion was done perfectly.

This is my first book by this author. It’s also my first billionaire office romance of the year. Gabriel is a tough, hard nosed, arrogant man. He’s been running the company for over ten years waiting for his father to relinquish his control. So Gabriel decides if he gets married dad will finally release his hold of the company. But our Gabriel doesn’t fall in love and get married, no he finds an employee named Willow who embezzled money from the company to bribe into marriage. He threatens willow with either marriage for three years or imprisonment. Well Gabriel thinks everything will be just great until he realizes Willow comes with her young son Grayson. Gabriel had some things happen in his past that are still affecting him today. I really enjoyed this story, it was a little angsty and a little steamy. I enjoyed watching Gabriel melt and refer to Willow as his wife. Willow has been having an awful few years, the father of her son was despicable. Seeing Willow and Gabriel find the love and acceptance they both needed was so satisfying. Willow’s best friend Aella and Kennedy better be the next book planned.

The twist nearing the end of this book was insanely good! The whole book is built off of secrets, so maybe I shouldn’t have been surprised, but wow! I was blown away. Dare I say it was diabolical! Gabriel has certainly been through it with his past…my heart ached for him. Willow hasn’t had it easy either and although they really were polar opposites I thought they were perfect together.
Gabriel and Grayson together were just adorable. Also I’m pretty sure Vivian deserves the best MIL/grandmother of the year award. The way she treated both Willow and Grayson was everything!!!

A fast-paced, gripping romance that proves a story doesn’t need length to leave a lasting impact. Gabriel is the ultimate morally grey hero. He’s ruthless, controlling, and shaped by past betrayal. Willow is a desperate single mother determined to protect her son, Grayson. Their forced marriage starts as a cold deal but slowly grows into something deeper, filled with tension, secrets, and emotional vulnerability. The slow burn is deliciously agonizing, the chemistry is scorching, and the mix of danger, blackmail, and heartfelt moments keeps the story engaging without ever feeling rushed. Watching Gabriel move heaven and earth (and do questionable things) for Willow and her son is incredibly satisfying, and seeing Willow take back control of her life is powerful and emotional. The unexpected ending made the final pages especially heartfelt and left me smiling long after I finished. Gabriel, Willow, and Grayson truly earned their HEA, and I can’t wait for Aella and Kennedy’s story next.

I devoured this book. Loved the plot. The beginning hooked me from page one. I really appreciated the progression of Gabriel's character. I felt the ruthless MMC at the beginning evolved into his character at the end (no spoilers) in a way that was realistic and had the reader pulling for him and his healing. Willow is fierce and strong. The way she was able to overcome obstacles in her life was endearing and admirable.
The pacing was lightning fast at times and probably could benefit from slowing down at certain parts. That is the only thing that kept it from five stars for me.

Willow is a single mom to her son, and desperations has her stealing money from her billionaire boss, Gabriel, who is ruthless, intimidating, and domineering, and when he finds out he gives her an ultimatum, imprisonment, or marry him for a fixed period. Gabriel has hardened his heart after a betrayal from a manipulative women, but can Willow soften his heart?
This is a well written story, which has family, friendships, emotions, billionaire boss / employee, desperation, tension, making choices, compassion, forced marriage, close proximity, an age gap, morally grey, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining addictive page tuner.
I look forward to reading more from this author.

I liked that Gabriel's mom was sweet, it really helped buy-in that deep down Gabriel has some good qualities but had been burned which led him to being the domineering jerk he presents himself as. There are some time lapses towards the end to show the growth of Gabriel, which I liked. So often it seems like a character just changes overnight & we are to accept that. The memories of his dad & baseball were sweet.
The banter was great, even when Willow was intimidated, she pushed back. I loved the friendship we saw with Aella and Willow, Aella was going to protect her friend no matter what. Especially toward the end we also saw Kennedy really dig deep with Gabriel some tough love was necessary.
This is book 1 in The Billionaire Series, and I am excited to read about Kennedy & Aella next. Thank you to The Author Agency for the ARC!

Book 1 in The Billionaires series: Gabriel and Willow. This is a single mom, power imbalance, boss x employee, size difference, forced/arranged marriage, forced proximity, age gap (11 years), beauty and the beast vibes, billionaire jaded workaholic MMC, he doesn’t believe in love but he falls first and hard, “my wife”, employee to “enemies” to lovers, dark romance.
This man went from the grouchiest most jaded MMC to so sweet and sincere and thoughtful. When he asked his new wife, who he blackmailed into marriage, to go on a date with him I swooned. The ups and downs Gabriel and Willow went through and their hard fought love story had me so invested in this book. I do think the beginning of the book was a little rushed but I absolutely loved this book and would totally recommend it!

I just happened upon this book and I really liked it. She is a new to me author and I am looking forward to reading more from her. Especially the couple whose book is teased at the end of this one.
Gabriel and Willow are super likable together even if their marriage is not for love at the beginning. It is a great story and I love watching their love story unfold. I especially liked watching Gabriel become a father to baby Grayson.
My one complaint is the ending. I get their third act break up and all that unfolds after that, but I thought the grovel/reconciliation was a bit rushed for my liking. Maybe I just wanted to see them happy again together for a bit longer.
But overall, I liked it a lot and can’t wait for the next book.

This is my first book by this author and it's definitely not going to be my last one either. This book sunk it's claws into me from the first chapter. I liked the overall plot of the narrative. And I loved the growth and development of the characters. The betrayal, the secrets, the truths, and the twists and turns were unexpected yet perfectly placed. I was surprised by some of the things that happened in this. But nonetheless this was an amazing story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
