3.75🌟, 3🌶️
This was such a wild, addictive ride.
Evelyn, Marcus, Sebastian, Alexander, and Adrian had me completely invested as the federal investigation brought even more chaos and danger. I loved seeing their relationships deepen outside the usual setting, especially the growing found-family dynamic and how fiercely the men supported Evelyn. Adrian was a standout for me, and the chemistry and spice definitely stepped it up too.
My only real complaint was wanting more. Everything moved so quickly that I sometimes wished the relationships and plot had more room to breathe. Still, the twists kept me guessing, and that ending completely blindsided me.
Now I desperately need to know what happens next!

📚 Dichotomy by Sunny Hart
Book 2 of The Archers
📖 Plot:
This book was a WILD ride. Every time I thought they had finally figured something out, there would be a hard left turn and suddenly everything they thought they knew was wrong. The twists kept coming, and I was constantly trying to piece everything together right alongside them.
🖤 Characters:
We got to know all of our characters so much more in this book, and I LOVED it. With the danger surrounding them, they spent more time together outside of the office, and getting to see their relationships develop beyond the work environment was one of my favorite parts. I was a little disappointed at first that there still wasn't much Eve and Marcus, and then suddenly Marcus was basically everywhere. 😂 And honestly, I think that was exactly what was needed.
Sebastian and Alexander didn't get nearly as much Eve time in this book, and I definitely found myself missing them. And them together. 😭 Adrian, though? PRIME CHARACTER. I loved seeing him step up and watching all of them work together to make Eve's life easier. Their growing dynamic and found-family vibes were EVERYTHING.

The spice was definitely amped up in this one, and I was LIVING for it. 🔥 Especially that scene with Adrian and Marcus. OOF. HAWT. That's all I'm saying. 😂

Okay, the cliffhanger from book one wasn't that bad. But the cliffhanger from book two??? WHAT THE HECK?! 😭 I genuinely thought there was some unspoken agreement here that I wasn't going to have to suffer through another heartbreaking "WHAT IS HAPPENING?!" ending. Apparently, I was wrong. Now I desperately need book three.

I think I enjoyed this even more than book 1! The story continues from where we left on in book 1 right after Evelyn got kidnapped. Our 4 MMC's and Evelyn now have a new player on the board by the name of Kingfisher and they must find out who it is to protect not only themselves but their families.
If you love a badass FMC who is indepedent and can hold her own you need to read this. Plus we get some individual spicy scenes with her men and even a threesome scene which was amazing. Adrian telling Marcus what to do to her...yes please.
I have a theory a 5th MMC may enter the dynamic in book 3 but we shall see. I also need Grace & Danny to have a book because colour me intrigued.

If you like reverse-harem, why-choose with 4 stellar men and one exceptional leading female, and action and guns and bombs and investigations into human trafficking and can survive a really vicious cliff-hanger, READ DUALITY AND DICHOTOMY.
Don't be fooled by the duo nature of the titles....it's a trilogy because Sunny Hart is a meanie!

3.5/5 Stars — Dichotomy by Sunny Hart
Dichotomy, the second book in the Archer’s series by Sunny Hart, was a solid 3.5-star read for me. Overall, I really enjoyed it, but my biggest complaint is that it simply wasn’t long enough. At only 226 pages, the story felt more like a continuation of the first book rather than a fully developed sequel with its own distinct arc.
That isn’t to say I didn’t have a good time reading it. The book was engaging, easy to get through, and kept me invested in the characters. I especially enjoyed the romance and the spicy scenes. One thing I appreciated was how seriously consent was taken throughout the story. It was handled thoughtfully and added an extra layer of respect and trust to the relationships, which I always love to see in romance.
I also thought Sunny Hart did a great job portraying Dominic Hayes and his role as a federal agent working to uncover and take down corruption. Those elements of the plot were interesting and helped add tension and stakes beyond the romance. Dominic’s professional side felt believable and gave the story more depth.
That said, I found myself wanting more development across the board. I wanted more relationship growth, more emotional depth between the characters, and more time spent exploring the plot. Because everything moved so quickly, some moments felt a little flat and didn’t have the impact they could have had with additional page time. I think if the book had been longer, it would have felt more like its own story instead of an extension of book one.
Even with those criticisms, I still enjoyed Dichotomy and am invested in the series. The characters, romance, and suspense kept me turning the pages. I just wish there had been more of it. A little extra development and a longer page count could have easily pushed this into 5-star territory for me.

The story picks up exactly where the last book left off. With Eve finally safe, the team heads out from the ball… only to learn that a federal agency is now investigating the Archers. We’re introduced to several new characters along the way, some intriguing, some immediately suspicious, which adds another layer of tension to everything already happening.
It was hard to watch Eve through parts of this book because of everything she was dealing with internally. The Archers are her life, and seeing how much it hurt her to shift her priorities and schedule because of outside pressure really hit me. You could feel how torn she was between protecting her people and protecting herself.
At the same time, it was incredibly sweet to see how constant the support from her men was. Even when she tried to act like she didn’t need it, they were there, steady and patient, giving her comfort in ways she didn’t even realize she needed. Watching her take small steps forward with each of them felt meaningful and real. And the spicy bits? Wow. Perfectly timed and totally worth it.
The plot in this book kept me guessing. There were twists and turns I wasn’t ready for, and just when I thought things were finally wrapping up, the ending hit with a brutal cliffhanger. The events leading up to it were wild, I was completely convinced something else was about to happen, not what actually did. Now I’m desperate for the next book because I have to know what comes next. I received this book as an ARC and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

Well that ramped up between Evelyn and her men. And that cliffhanger!
The cliffhanger from book one wasn’t as bad as it seemed, though the dramatic cut was effective. This book picks up right where book one leaves off, but now Evelyn has new issues to worry about - the Federal Investigation Agency. They’re after the Archers and suspect Evelyn is the head. Good thing her men are there to help her and her team is willing to step up in her absence. But just as they all seem to have a lead on who’s after The Archer’s and possibly have them in custody, the book ends with a major cliffhanger.
This is book two in a trilogy that must be read in order.
I love that each of the guys, minus Marcus, got alone bedroom time with Evelyn and they all seem to want the same thing - to make her happy. Though, I don’t think Marcus was too upset that his time wasn’t alone. I have to wonder if Evelyn’s relationship with her men will stay like this, or if there will be a group scene in the last book. It will also be interesting to see what comes of this cliffhanger. I have a prediction that I could see Evelyn turning down if that’s what comes up. Or maybe not. Maybe that would make her life easier.

There’s too much to go into with this trilogy. And I would not do it justice regurgitating it here. Just know, this series is fantastic.
Here are some of my favorite things about this series so far: These men show up for Evelyn every single time. And while she does resist a bit at first, she finds herself opening up and accepting the help. Instead of word service, they SHOW HER. I mean, in what world could you refuse the help of 4 very sexy, powerful, caring, and protective men?!? I COULDN’T!! These men are consistent. They listen, they are tender with her, they spoil her, they take care of her every need. They practically read her mind and see her needs before she does. SWOON. And they each give her something different. She has a fantastic found family and they all work together for the good of the cause. There’s no bickering. They just set aside their differences and help.

Dichotomy is the second book in Hart's The Archers trilogy. This slow burn, why choose, contemporary romance features Evelyn Harper, Alexander, Marcus, and Sebastian Stone, and Adrian Cross. The story picks up where it left off in the first book, Duality.
Evelyn's secret is now known to the Stone brothers, and surprisingly they have decided to stand by her. This is a good thing for Evelyn as she could use all their support given that there is now a federal investigation that risks exposing her as the leader of the Archers.
Mike Holden and Dominic Hayes are Special Agents from the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and they are asking questions. They clearly suspect her, but they don't have the proof they need to arrest her. Fortunately Hayes' questions aren't just about Evelyn and she may have inadvertently found an ally within the agency.
Like in the first book, this one was packed with action, suspense and intrigue. The more they try to unravel the mysteries, the more twists and turns arose. I appreciated how her men banded around her with their support - physically, emotionally and financially. I enjoyed learning more about the members of the Archers. I could definitely see a spin off series about some of those relationships.
One random comment - I don't think I've ever seen the word "twatapotomas" in a book, and I loved it. I also wondered whether it was a coincidence that the individual in question had an orange tan, given his name. I'm inclined to think not. It definitely made me giggle.
Once again we are left with a cliffhanger ending. I am eager to read the third and final book, Deliverance, to learn how Hart plans to wrap things up. I am also looking forward to more time with Evelyn and her yummy men.

Holy Moly!
That cliffhanger really threw me and I was not expecting it.
Evelyn’s story has only gotten crazier now that her men know more about who she is & why she does outside of their office. The overprotective men came out in full force because of it too.
Especially now that they aren’t sure exactly who may be targeting them, & if any are.
But now they have to worry about Agents from the FIA hounding them with questions and accusations. But one of those agents seems to leave Evie questioning if he may be leaning more to their side.
There is definitely plenty of tension and excitement with not knowing who Kingfisher is which only made that last chapter so much more crazy because they thought they got him.
And now I am so curious to see how it plays out because like I said that cliffhanger was not fair.

Cliff hangers are the bane of my Reading existence BUT I cannot live without them and this book is a doozy!
I loved the first book, and this one just gets even better- why choose including her bosses and they're brothers, and now a possible new love interest, 4 guys is enough of a juggle but 5.... we will have to see where it may go.
The suspense building in this book is thrilling and had me on the edge of my seat. I like these characters, they're all different, all in tune with each other. I love the cohesiveness of their relationships and management of everything they do.
I'm going to be eagerly waiting for the next book and to see who is the top dog villian that needs to be unalived!!!

The Archers, book two
I'm loving this contemporary reverse harem with a kick a female lead, Evelyn. She has developed a vigilante barely legal group of like minded heroes who try to avenge victims not helped by the system. She has a daytime identity as the executive assistant to four handsome, male owners of a normal security company. In book two they now know and support her secret identity and they all have confirmed their attraction. I'm loving this contemporary reverse harem with a kick a female lead, Evelyn. She has developed a vigilante barely legal group of like minded heroes who try to avenge victims not helped by the system. She has a daytime identity as the executive assistant to four handsome, male owners of a normal security company. In book two they now know and support her secret identity and they all have confirmed their attraction. Did I finish this in under a day? Absolutely! I couldn’t put this down and was so invested in the mystery and suspense!! While this is a why choose romance book, it is not super spicy at all. I am saying this as a very positive note cause sometimes I feel like it can take over a story with so many characters and relationships to develop and maintain. The author has managed to build those relationships and give us enough character development to be invested without overloading with spice and building the suspense.
The ending of this was OMG and I’m so glad I don’t have to wait for the next book cause otherwise I’d be losing my mind! If you enjoy suspense/thrillers with a bit of romance thrown in, this is it!

This picks up right where the last one left off and it did not disappoint. The plot only thickens in this and there is lots to unravel and divulge. The narrative is amazing and the characters are well drawn out. I liked that this story had the perfect blend of suspense and romance. I also liked how it continues to build upon the overall storyline. And the ending, it'll definitely catch you off guard. I can't wait see what's coming next. So if you like forced proximity, found family, office romance, hidden identity, and why choose romance, then grab yourself a copy of this book because you don't want to miss out.

This is part of a series, book two of The Archers series. It picks up right off from the end of book one. This was thrilling follow up to book one. The MCs are going strong even with all the struggles and obstacles that keep appearing throughout the book. The growth is constant between them. There are new characters introduced and some are great and some are still up for debate. It ends on a cliffhanger yet again and omg what a cliffhanger! I can’t wait for the next book and see what happens. The build up of mystery and suspicion was so beautifully written and I can’t wait for more!

I was really excited for this one because I absolutely loved the first one. I've been in a bit of a reading slump for the past few months so I was really looking forward to this one. Not sure if I overhyped it in my head but this was just okay for me. I didn't think enough was happening compared to the first one. Where is the suspense? But I think my biggest disappointment was the lack of chemistry between Evelyn and her 4 guys. Apart from their jobs, they don't have distinguishable personalities in my opinion. And now it looks like they'll be adding a 5th man to her harem? Meh. I'll continue with the final book but I was left a little disappointed.

I’m so freaking invested in this series!! I need to know how it ends, so have no doubt I’ll be staying up until the early hours of the morning to read book 3.
I adore Evelyn’s badassery. She leads with compassion but also strength.
I love the relationship she has with the men and how they see what she needs and take care of her.
I love the relationships they have with each other too. You can feel the respect between them.
The plot line running throughout the books aside from the romance has me hooked though. So many unanswered questions and so many layers unveiled so far with more to come.
Diving straight into book 3 right now.

Okay that cliffhanger was not ugh like the first one it was oh no! Wth!
Again this has been a wild ride and so much went on in 200+ pages it keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout! Not going to lie the addition of Dominic was a lil annoying to me cause I’m hoping they aren’t adding him to the group situation but I feel like it might go that route like girl you got 4 hotties stop being greedy but overall I like him he seems genuine.
I have my suspicions on who kingfisher is but I don’t wanna get ahead of myself. Cause if I’m wrong it’s probably laughable lol cannot wait for book 3!

Continuing the series, thank you again to The Author Agency for preparation for the third book. Honestly, I really am trying to figure out how things are going to play out. There is a lot happening so I don’t know which direction book 3 is going to take us. I also enjoyed how we got further into the relationship with Evelyn and her men because in the first book it didn’t feel like anything was happening. Then I think towards the end we took a step in the right direction and then in the second book, we explored a little bit more.

I love the way that Sunny Hart writes Evelyn, Sebastian, Marcus, Adrian, and Alexander's story! You get a POV from each character, and even a side character who I feel like is going to be important in the next book!! I love that the suspense doesn't over take the romance or that the romance doesn't over take the suspense!!
I hate that it left me on a cliffhanger, but I know when book number three comes out it will be great!

It’s fine, everything is fine. Sunny is the queen of a cliffhanger. It’s fine. I really enjoy the storyline and what each character brings to the story. More than just the FMC an MMC’s but all the side characters too. You feel the emotion and love between them all and I’m a sucker for a found family. I already can’t wait for book 3😅

This was such a nice blend of action, suspense, relationship building and spice! I've loved seeing how Evelyn and her guys are progressing.. and the possible opening for an extra harem member?! The journey is really heating up and I can't wait to see how it ends. But this cliffhanger... man, it's ripped my heart out...I need answers so badly! I'm waiting on tenterhooks until book 3!

This one picks up right where book 1 ended. I became invested to see what would happen next with Eve and her Guys. Each character had some growth and I enjoyed watching them grow. The support Eve received from them showed how much they cared. The story kept me guessing what would happen next. I did not see the ending or the way it was left.

My newly favorite FMC is back again in this conclusion of this duet. Evelyn is working hard with her guys and a bonus to get the heat away from her. While vigilante justice is not ideal, this is what some people need. Loved that this one kept us on our toes as this unfolded. The twist and turns had me with my jaw on the floor.
