He’s always been a healer, but the only thing you can't heal is a broken heart.

Indigo Yates's life has just been one traumatic event after another, but when she's homeless and decides to sign up for a drug trial she has no idea what she's getting herself into. Edging closer to death by the time she's found and rescued, she's saved by a man who heals, but what he doesn't understand is that she's already broken beyond repair.

Voodoo is a healer. The only son of two neglectful doctors, he's always known his purpose was to save lives. After Dr. Gardner's experimental drugs and his unnatural ability to heal himself and others, he's never met an injury he couldn't repair. Until now. Until Indigo. Until a woman who sees him as more than a fixer. But how do you heal a broken heart? How do you heal a lifetime of suffering?

By the time he realizes it's not his ability that can save Indigo, but just him, it might be too late for both of them.

This is the fourth book in the Prey Security: Delta team series. This story does have some dark themes so if you have triggers be warned. This author out did herself again with this one. I am really loving this series. Both Indigo and Voodoo have had horrific childhoods growing up. Both were recruited by the evil Dr. Gardner under the guise of having a better life, one neither of them ever imagined they would ever have. Unfortunately they lived a life of torture and abuse just at different times. When Voodoo and his team hit another lab of Dr. Gardner's trying to catch him, instead they find everyone had just been killed except one person that was hiding in a cabinet. From that point on Voodoo swore he would take care of Indigo and heal her of her injuries that Dr. Gardner had inflicted. Soon he realizes though that she is one person that he can't heal. Just when he believes Indigo is safe she is taken again. This is one highly emotional roller coaster ride full of action, tragedy, torture and finally love. I loved that Voodoo was a teddy bear towards Indigo and was everything that she needed. I felt so sorry for both this characters, they truly went through h*ll. I am so glad that this couple got their happy ending. This was such a great book and series. I highly recommend this series.

First of all, I absolutely adore this series!!! Second of all, learning more about Voodoo's past makes me want to meet his parents in real life, if you know what I mean. Indy is also a survivor of Dr. Gardner's but she is different from the team. Indy is hurt and doesn't know if she can carry on. Voodoo is instantly drawn to Indy and wants to help her but yeah, remember me saying that she was different from the team? Yeah, well Voodoo can't help her the way that he helps the team.

As they get to know one another, Indy is so strong but she's had enough of being hurt. Getting to know Voodoo and his team turn out being the best thing for her heart but is she willing to let go of the past? Learning to love Voodoo and his team everything she's ever dreamed of and more.

Is this the time that they are able to find Dr. Gardner or is he going to find them? EEP!!! A must read to find out what happens!!! Can't wait for the next book in this series!

This book might be my favorite so far, and it’s an emotional roller coaster. Just like the previous installments, this book starts out with action and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. This is Voodoo’s story. He’s the healer, so when he finds a badly broken Indigo, he knows two things: 1. She is one of them, and 2. He has to save her. Indigo’s story is emotional and tragic. Voodoo’s determination to save her despite seemingly impossible odds is a rollercoaster for sure.

I don’t want to say too much to avoid spoilers, but I will say wow!! Voodoo and Indigo are meant to be, and while the healer is saving Indigo, she is saving him right back. This is definitely a must-read and now my favorite installment of the series. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

This is my favourite book in an already excellent series about the mysterious Delta Team. As always with Jane Blythe’s writing, the reader is taken on an adrenaline-fuelled rollercoaster as Indigo and Voodoo fight their way toward their happily-ever-after.

Indigo has endured significant trauma and is at her lowest point when she meets Voodoo - a protective, alpha figure who refuses to let her stay trapped in self-pity. Their journey is both intense and emotional, with a strong balance of action and romance.

The story delivers everything fans of the series have come to love: high-stakes drama, compelling character development, and the powerful sense of team spirit that runs throughout.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fast-paced romantic suspense with heart.

Once again Jane Blythe delivers another outstanding book in the Delta Team series. Book four and the story was just as fierce and raw as all the others and the action and drama begins from the very first page and does not slow down at all until the very end. Voodoo would have to be my favourite of the Delta Team operatives and he falls instantly for Indigo who is also one of Dr Gardner’s experiments. There is constant angst and danger and the race to survive is very real as they are constantly on the run from the evil doctor. I loved Voodoo’s patience with Indigo especially when she loses all hope of survival. An emotional story that will definitely pull at your heartstrings but it is another fabulous instalment in this already fabulous series.

Oh what a journey Jane is taking on with this team!
This book starts with Drama as Preys Delta team guys are raiding another lab of the nefarious Dr Gardner.
Indigo has been in his clutches for some time now, but the distraction of the raid allowed her to hide and escape. Hoever it soon becomes clear to the team that she is one of them, able to survive the drug and resist pain. But when Voodoo and Indy are separated from the rest of the tam, they must dig deep to survive. But th Dr is drawing closer so the stakes are as high as ever.
With twists and turns, highs and lows aplenty this is an adrenaline fuelled delight.

This book is full of pain, danger, emotional turmoil, and survival. Indigo has felt pain since she was five years old, her father used to beat her. Every man that she has been with, has hurt her in different ways. So she didn't know if she could trust Voodoo. Voodoo and the guys find out that Indigo's enhancement was enduring pain. The pain hits her hard, then fades quickly. When the guys saved her, she told them to leave her, she didn't want them to die because of her. Voodoo got Indigo out of the lab, but they have along way to freedom. Really enjoyed this crazy , well written story. Highly recommend.

Cunning Revenge was such a great love story. Vulnerable and suspenseful.

Indigo a woman who doesn't feel pain is rescued from Dr Gardner's compound by a Prey Team and Voodoo their medic/ healer.

I loved Voodoo. He was protective and sweet but very alpha, not letting Indigo give into her negative thoughts. Indigo was a survivor of great trauma but still living and that captured Voodoo's respect and interest but me came from the attraction.

So well done. Wow such an amazing read. Definitely my favourite if the series so far. These two and their connection plus the teams acceptance and involvement added to the draw. An amazing story!!

Jane Blythe gives another story that is action-packed, heart-wrenching, intense, and hits you soul deep. Heavy topics are included so do know your triggers. Our beloved Team continues the search for their evil nemesis and in doing so finds another against the odds survivor. Voodoo falls hard and finds his soulmate. Indy has always been a survivor from childhood but struggles against darkness. I thought the emotional growth for both main characters was beautiful as they both learned their worth within each other. The action and twists held me to the end. Cannot wait for the next in this riveting series.

Indy is so strong, even when she is physically and mentally beyond breaking point

But her story is so heartbreaking, I sobbed buckets of tears reading this.
I LOVE Voodoo and love even more that her won't give up on Indy, that he constantly tells, reiterates and shows her how important and valued she is and that in doing so he learns that he too is valued beyond his gift for healing.
This team and their women are AMAZING and I love every one of them, I cannot wait for Thunder's book, but equally will be gutted when we finally get it, as this will be the final one in the series.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Cunning Revenge

OMG! Jane has done it again! This story was very intense and pretty sad. This is Voodoo's and Indigo's story. Indigo's life was very horrible starting at 3 years of age. As you read, you definitely feel for Indigo and what she went through her entire life. Voodoo was smitten with her the first time he saw her. Like Voodoo said, she is a warrior. What Gardner does to her as well as the guards was horrific but she persevered through it all. She was intolerant to pain - she felt it for a bit then it dulled. So happy that the guys were able to save Indigo and she finally got a happy ending with Voodoo. FANTASTIC job Jane! I would highly recommend this book!

Wowza!! This book is action packed from the start.
Indigo has had a rough life, and is homeless when she comes across an add for a drug trial, hoping it will help her get back on her feet. Boy was she wrong...
Enter Voodoo and Prey's Delta Team, who recuse her. Voodoo is the teams healer, and is determined to save Indigo.
Jane Blythe is the queen on romantic suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book, and leaves you wanting more!
I am absolutely loving this series, and I can't wait for the next book!!!!

Another Delta team member finds their HEA. The hunt for the evil doctor is in full force. Voodoo is the healer but what happens when he meets the person he can not heal? Will he be able to heal the body and the heart of the women that has survived the same drug that changed him? Indigo has hit rock bottom for sure this time. She thought signing up for a drug trial was the way to get back on her feet. It was a nightmare a loving breathing nightmare. When she is rescued by Delta team and specifically Voodoo she hopes she finds her home. However, the evil doctor is always chasing them.

Cunning Revenge will melt your heart as Voodoo and Indy find each other.
The past trauma and pain Indy has suffered will have you seeing red, while her vulnerabilities pull hard at your heart. Voodoo absolutely melts you as he takes her into his heart and rages for her, giving that fierce, protective energy you can’t get enough of.
The action intensifies every step of the way, with a frustrating catch-and-release dynamic that keeps you on edge and rooting for them even more. A united team adds strength and support as they fight for each other.

I was super excited to get to know Voodoo better. When he meets Indigo their connection is instant. It grows with each page. It was natural and they just understood each other. She had such strength and perseverance. It was beautiful to see and so well written. Their journey starts with a bang and the action never stops. I never knew what would happen next. I love a story that keeps me on my toes. There’s action and suspense but also those small moments in between that warm your heart.

I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Not bad, but not great

This story brings in a woman who survived the drug trials and now has a special ability, her own struggles with how her life has been and what she’s going through now. It’s a great concept for this series, and also touches on the darker side of the drugs (finding it easier to just give up than keep going). There’s the opportunity for this story to be a lot better than how it’s presented here. A lot of details are unnecessarily repeated - could have done with less of that. Found myself skimming forward to other parts because of this.

WOW Indigo and Voodoo’s story was amazing. Voodoo never expected to find indigo hiding on the compound where they were looking for the doctor, but he knew she’d been through the paces just as he and his team had. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for her even though they just met under dire straights. Their story was intense, action packed, sweet and loving. Learning you are worth more than what others think of you.

You'll have to start at the beginning of this series for understanding of these characters and their specialities.
Voodoo and his team are raiding a facility for the evil dr. It seems they are always just too late.
They discover Indigo and she's an experiment like themselves. They are determined to rescue her but a team of guards are on their trail.
Indigo came from a rough beginning, with one trauma after another, she's totally defeated. Voodoo as the team healer is not letting her give up as they run from one danger to another.
Great action packed story that wouldn't let go...just how many times can this girl suffer?
I'm really looking forward to book #5 to continue this action.

Wow! Another masterpiece by Jane Blythe! I totally read this book in one sitting!

Book starts off fast and the action keeps going right up to the end. Voodoo and Indigo while having very different childhoods have the similar issues with insecurity and feeling worthy. I love how they learn to fight not only for each other but for themselves, too.

Another great addition to the series. I am really loving Delta team!

Voodoo and Indigo made a great partnership by both had suffered so much in different ways, but found that perfect way to heal each other.

The excitement of the series was still brilliant and kept the suspense from start to the end. Just brilliant. I’m totally excited to read Thunder’s story next!

This is Voodoo and Indigo's story. It's another intense and emotional read from the talented Jane Blythe. The strength of the characters is amazing and I love this found family! This book can be read as a stand-alone but you will get more out of it if you read the series in order. Looking forward to the next (last?) book in the series.

“Bubbles,”

Voodo is the team healer. When they raid one of facilities they find a woman who is like them but in bad shape. I have to say this man is my favorite so far. He didn’t ever have any doubts that she was a victim.

This meant he was on his own, no backup, nothing but a woman who had been willing to sacrifice herself to give him a better chance at living.

Indigo has had a life that anyone would want to escape from. She just wants to find a safe place.

Yet … in some deep place of her soul, she knew that wouldn't happen. Voodoo was the real deal.

This is one high octane race from start to finish. There is hardly time to even breathe.
