About the author

Holds an MA in literary and cultural sciences. She has performed at Dutch festivals like Lowlands, the Nacht van de Poëzie, Poetry International, but also in Birmingham, Paris and Berlin.
She was the Dutch Slam Poetry Champion in 2009, is a member of the rock.poetry formation Asphalt Fairies, and during the European Championship of Football in 2012, she was on national Dutch radio as a football expert.
Her poems have been translated and published in English, German, French and Spanish.
