The story is based around the lives of Andones and Aiden. Aiden to me is the boy who grew up having it all. Comfortable life, loving parents, living it easy. Andones is the complete opposite. A rough life doesn't even come close to what he's suffered and had to deal with. But they both come together and it's beautifully telling of how major opposites attract.
Now, I'll come out in saying it's a really good story with a HEA, but it's a high trigger for areas that are sensitive to some dealing with childhood trauma. You'll read about drug abuse, child abuse along with rape and pedophilia. I won't lie and tell how some scenes are detailed. If this doesn't make you squeamish? Pick up the book and have at it.
This author takes this story to gripping levels and you'll be dying to know what happens next. THAT is what kept me turning the pages. The fiction hits home to many people's realities.
The book can use another going through for errors, but they are minor and there's some repetition that wasn't needed and could be removed, but honestly? I actually want more from this author.
