Keiko Takemiya (竹宮惠子), earlier known as 竹宮恵子 (note: it's the first kanji in her given name, 恵→惠) is a Japanese mangaka.

She is one of the 24-Gumi (Magnificent 49ers), the group of female manga artists that pioneered the shoujo genre. Professor of manga studies at Kyoto Seika University.

Pensaba que habríamos dejado atrás la parte chunga de la historia, pero no. Unas pocas páginas de felicidad y zasca! Y mira que es un tema que llevo muy mal. Aunque es ficción y no paro de repetirme que la peli me pareció dura pero bonita... Este también me ha costado.

Another wonderful volume.

The relationship between Gilbert and Serge is finally blossoming despite all the internal and external obstacles between them.

The gentleness and thoughtfulness through which Serge is gaining Gilbert's trust are truly moving.

The second half of the volume, set in the Cocteau mansion in Marseille, are nightmarish and perverted by the evil presence of Auguste Beau.

Onto volume 8 now and I shall write a full review of the series once I get to the end.

Tot i un inici que m’ha costat, la resta ha estat meravellós. Sento el final aprop, i és que passen tantes coses en tant poc temps…

Dada la obvia mejoría de Gilbert, Auguste aparece intentando comprar a Serge con oportunidades para ser un pianista profesional con toda la intención de alejarlo de su hijo/sobrino. Llega a invitarlo a su propio hogar junto a Gilbert, y al ver que este ha iniciado una relación ilídica con Serge, llega el culmen de lo despreciable: Auguste viola a Serge como aviso para que se aleje de Gilbert.

Aterrado, pero también incapaz de dejar a Gilbert atrás, le confiesa la violación y parte solo a Lacomblade creyendo que su bello amante lo odia por haber roto su fantasía con respecto a Auguste. Sin embargo, para sorpresa de todos, Serge ha roto el hechizo de este miserable hombre y Gilbert decide volver a Lacomblade en brazos de Serge.

Lo ha elegido a él. Quiere la tranquilidad y el amor que Serge le ofrece, y, por un momento, creemos que la cosa puede salir bien.

La belleza del inicio de la relación entre Gilbert y Serge es incomparable a nada más, y sin embargo, también dolorosa, pues intuimos que hay demasiados detractores como para que salga bien.
