If I had to summarise my experience of reading this book in one sentence, I would say, "It was a great reality check". I have given the book 4 stars because of how much it impacted me, and helped me forge a better mindset to work on my goals.
I wouldn't say it was a perfectly original idea to begin with, but the author has built upon the theme satisfactorily. It seems the author has been inspired by Renuka Gavrani, and her works.
It's a short read, only 126 pages, in an unusually large font. It's a self published book (through 'Notion Press') by the author 'Olivia Woods', which seems like a pen name, because she has published another book under the name 'Ella Heart' ('The Life beyond fear') [this information has been verified from the website of 'Notion Press']
The writing style was basic, but straightforward. The book contains a few anecdotes from her own life, and her own journey of writing this book, a handful of good quotations from other authors, and really relatable material (if you too have been struggling to work on your goals, and to make the most of NOW).
It is not a conventional Self-help book, in the sense that it felt more like someone sat you down, showed you the mirror, and then advised you on how you can seize the day, and stop putting things for later.
So, in conclusion, it's a good read, and wouldn't feel like a waste but don't start with high expectations.
