“You’ll lose your mind before you lose me.”
-fairies, warlocks, goblins & more
-based in the streets of Baltimore
-funny, relatable banter
-unforgettable characters
-strong villains
-girlhood & friendships
-thick bodied fairy FMC (Jinx)
-warrior warlock MMC (Cero aka Grim)
-strong relationships
-“rise from the ashes” storyline
-vivid descriptions
-very spicy
They played with the FMC & I hated that for her. She went through a lot. Her storyline was sad. I enjoyed the relationships in this the most. I am yet again, wishing I was a lor Baltimore fairy.
The only thing that was underwhelming to me was the ending. We didn’t get an epilogue or NOTHING. But, I’m happy that the last friend in the trio gets a storyline. I know we’ll get updates on Jinx then, but I also wanted a solid ending for now.
This is book 2 of a series. Although the MCs from book 1 are included within this story along with short recaps of previous plots. I would suggest reading “Eboenia” first.

I just finished Jinx’s story, and wow—I was not prepared for how good Jinx and Grim were together. Their dynamic really surprised me in the best way, especially seeing how Grim proved, over and over, that he was solid and fully had her back. That kind of loyalty? Yeah, it hit.
What I really connected with was Jinx’s struggle with submission. She didn’t just fall into it—she questioned it, resisted it, and had to learn when it was right and when it wasn’t. That felt real. Submission gets a bad reputation, but honestly, a lot of that comes from people giving that part of themselves to the wrong person. When it’s misplaced, it can mess you up long-term—and the story does a good job showing that.
I also loved getting updates on characters from the first book. Seeing the continued layers—especially the internal conflict in certain characters—adds depth to the whole world. And speaking of the world, the blend of fantasy and urban elements is done so well. The way the story moves between fairy realms and Baltimore gives it a unique edge. It’s magical, but it’s also gritty and grounded.
Now let’s talk about the darker side—because whew. What happened in that fairyland before Eboenia Fairyland? Those male fairies needs to re-die and absolutely needed to be dealt with. No question. The story doesn’t shy away from trauma either, and I appreciated how it showed the impact of suppressed trauma on Jinx’s adult life. Grim helping her confront that was a big turning point, and it added emotional weight to their relationship.
And yes—the visuals in the e-book? GRIM!!!!!!! Beautiful. Sexy and Spicy, but done with intention and artistry. ( If you know you know but you should run to find out)
As for Blair… listen. She’s still not my favorite. She was messy in the first book, and she’s still making questionable choices here. You can’t play with someone’s feelings and then dismiss them when they call you out—that part really irritated me. At the same time, I’m curious. With that reveal at the end, her story has potential, and I’m interested to see where it goes.
Overall, I’m fully invested in this series. Natavia built a world that feels fresh—hood, magical, emotional, and messy in a way that works. If you like fantasy with an edge and characters that feel real, this is absolutely worth the read.
I’m definitely ready for the next book.

Natavia is the Dark Paranormal Romance QUEEN! This story picks up where Eboenia’s left off, but Jinx has her own story to write. Grim isn’t as obsessed with Jinx at first, but once they cross that line there’s no going back. I love how Jinx was at war with herself more than she was at war with Grim. Grim & Jinx’s story is different from War and Eboenia in the sense that War didn’t give Eboenia much of a choice, and Grim is guiding Jinx to him without her even realizing. Love love love this world and these characters. Can’t wait for Blair’s story!

First of all, the visuals in this book was absolutely stunning. The book was well written, flowed well and kept my attention from beginning to end. Not only did we get glimpses of War and Eboenia, we got to witness the relationship between Jinx and Grimm. The chemistry between these two was dynamic. The character development was awesome. Definitely worth reading and I’m looking forward to reading about Blair.

this was a good read Jinx’s back story was so sad her father did her dirty as a child which spilled over into her adult life now Grim been told her she was his but she didn’t believe him so she FAFO…. also love that Grim didn’t use magic to bind them but allowed her to heal…we got to catch up with Eboneia & War without making the story about them & the way Crash-Out laid out the Faries know I have read book 3

If u read Eboenia u don't wanna miss her best friend/ sister from another mister story. Jinx story is not only traumatizing its plays out beautifully after for her. she's not only rough around the edges she's, broken or so she thought. this is a roller coaster ride that once u get on u dont want it to end. I cant wait for the next spin off I hope its about Blair

I loved everything about this book. I’m not normally a paranormal girlie but I love this series so much.. Jinx and Grim are definitely not a common pair you would think but Grim helped Jinx get through so much and vice versa.. I loved their toxic relationship.. cause Jinx didn’t play about him even with him being mean to her lol

I don’t know where to start!! I was skeptical at first because I don’t have much experience with dark paranormal romance but this book was an absolute 10/10! The character development, the spice, & THE VISUALS. 🔥🔥🔥 I felt like I was there! this is a must read/experience.
