I loved this story! The themes are top tier. The characters are so lovable. The family connections are unmatched. It makes you want to be apart of the family. However, the e editing is atrocious! This whole series is maligned with horrible editing. The author could not have paid anyone to look the books over- it is BaD. The missing words, grammatical errors etc. are just too much. The Dudleys deserve to be presented in the most beautiful way. The author seems to not care about her work to allow it to be presented so poorly.

This was an okay read. Them names threw me off from beginning to end 🤣 I had to keep going back to remember which brother was which lmao.
I was entertained, but I wanted more. Like what makes Dykoyta so psychotic? What has he done to have that name? Does he have a mental illness? Like what is it? His brother’s reference that’s he’s crazy but I feel like we don’t see that on page. I’m more of a show me reader than a tell me type of reader. This could be something that will come out in the rest of the series, but I would have enjoyed a flashback or two to show us who Dykoyta really is.
The other brothers are definitely intriguing on their own as well. I really liked the twins & Dynisti seems like a mystery, especially having that wife he clearly don’t want anymore 👀
The ending wasn’t super shocking. It was easy to guess that Dystini had some sort of connection to the brothers just based off the spelling of her name. I will probably read book 2 to see how things play out.

Listen at this point the actual plot is just outside scenery because I’m here for the world and these damn Dudley brothers.
This book felt less like here’s your romance with a mix of legal aid and more like somebody opened the door and said welcome to Louisiana, here’s generations of secrets, trauma, loyalty, questionable decisions
and brotherhood enjoy. Also these Dudley men move like family meetings should come with legal counsel and emotional support snacks.
Dykoyta carrying the family on his back explains so much about him. He built himself into somebody who protects first and feels later. Love, joy and rest. Those things got put on layaway while he made sure everybody else ate. So watching him meet Ty and realize there might actually be life outside of survival hit different. He's fighting a good fight! Ty was a good match too because she understood putting everybody else before yourself while quietly carrying her own disappointments.
Oh my goodness let’s talk about the real stars. Dynver and Kyotic’s internal commentary had me laughing this whole book. The banter, the randomness, the absolute inability to act normal for five consecutive minutes. I was entertained. Kyotic wanted Ty kicked out that bed so bad 😂😂😂 PUSH HER!!!
So ummm now since we all apparently share one communal conspiracy board… 👀 Them twins… I’m not saying nothing definitive but I am saying the breadcrumbs are breadcrumbing. If I’m wrong, cool. If I’m right, I’m acting shocked with everybody else.

The beginning pulled me in immediately. I loved Ty, and I loved everybody connected to her, Kenny, D-Wiz, and Titi. She had a good relationship with all of them, and I enjoyed reading their interactions.
The Dudleys took a liking to Ty fast, but that damn Kyotic was going through it with his feelings. He liked her, he just didn’t know what tf to do with those feelings. I was enjoying watching him try to figure himself out.
I felt really bad for Dyniem because nobody should be accused of some bs like that. I loved the bond between him and his brothers too. Dynver calling to check on him was such a cute little moment because you could tell they genuinely cared about each other.
And the whole time I kept asking myself, why tf is Dystini’s name so close to Dynisti? Then I got to that ending and said OHHHH! Now that shit makes sense! I wasn’t shocked. I was seriously like, no one is questioning that..?

So I’m intrigued with this book and am excited to see where this goes! Now all them D names- confusing as heck. Then you add in Dj and Dynisti- more confusion. Now Koyta I can keep up with with his crazy tail. He is a lunatic I can see it lol. He’s talking to himself and answering himself back- yeah insane!!!
Little Miss Firecraker Ty got some work cut out for her! Glad she left that funky job!
Kenn- if yoh don’t let that piece of a man go! Now Dynver is a hoe and I think he might fumble you but you have a job and can take care of your bills. Quinton is playing you.
Titi- when I kept reading your daughter’s name I had a feeling she was by one of the Dudley brothers. Did you know that your homie people? And why are you putting up with that deadbeat when you’re pressure???
I love me some Darrien with his crazy but!

Follow the Game Plan!
First off I knew this book was gone be good when I read the PSA and the Translations. S/O to these fine Louisianan characters. Babyyyyy when I tell you this may be my favorite book of 2026 thus far! I have fallen in love with all these characters. The storyline is dope and one we see too often with our black men but I digress. The vibes, energy, and everyone’s background stories and lives are good. Each brother has a unique story and personality so does Ty,Titi, D-Wiz, and Kenn. I can’t wait to read book 2 so I can see what happened after this cliffhangers that left me gasping. J’Sat baby don’t sleep on your gift I love it!

Absolutely loved it!
First of all I want to say to the author, Kudos ma'am. I have never laughed so hard one minute, been serious the next minute, and everything comes together in a great story.
Dakota "Koytic" Dudley is definitely on my top list of book baes. That man is intense and it's like you could actually feel all of the emotions coming off the pages. The twins are so funny and the older brother, he need to get rid of that "wonderful" person he is with.
Overall I would definitely recommend this book to others. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ok
Its gotta get better. At first I was so confused by the names am starting with Dy. Still not sure if I got em straight. I don't really feel the chemistry between Ty and Dykota. He's moody, I guess that is supposed to indicate the bipolar diagnosis but its falling flat. Kenn's situation is silly. There are alot of stories going on at the same time but nothing has happened to pull me in. All 4 or 5 of the brothers plus Ty, Kenn, and TiTi got stuff going on. This next book needs more focus.

These Dudley brothers are very pragmatic and interesting! Im so glad Ty spoke up during the meeting and took over! She was the only one that had good sense and fully aware of The Brothers! Dykota and his alter ego Psykotic is hilarious going back and forth in his head! When I first started reading I found it odd that Titi's daughter's name was almost the same as one of the brothers, but didn't think nothing of it until the cliffhanger! Wow! So here we go! On to next installment!

a good messy read
This book was so messssssy! Lawd! I couldn’t stop reading it even when my eyes kept closing. The Dudley men are very interesting indeed. I don’t know which one my favorite yet. Dykoyta and his crazy tail self may win but we gonna see with the next installment. Can’t wait to see what happens next!

Stuck
This well written book has me stuck already. From the beginning of the first chapter, I was feeling this storyline. The characters and all of their different personalities. The love for their families, friends, and the growing love for the new dynamics forming a new family they are becoming. That cliffhanger really spiced it up.
