Nine pro-human solutions are offered alongside a longer-term vision for how we want work to evolve.

Having explored over 100 solutions, the book concludes with the BESST Framework: Engineer Better jobs and Enough jobs. Ensure a Say in outcomes. Provide Safety nets for those left behind. Drive debate on the Tilts needed, from shifting tax away from labour to redirecting investment toward shared abundance, to evolving capitalism itself.

Actionable stuff!

Perceived wisdom is that AI will replace work. This book explores this complex topic but, more than that, it asks how leaders can approach AI in the workplace and what they should actually do about it. If you work, would like to work or are a parent of a young person about to embark on their working life - this book helps you to engage!
