Ana D'Arcy crafts romances bursting with heart, humor, and a generous dose of steam—in which he often falls first but they both fall hard. On most days, Ana can be found working with a cup of tea by her side while her three cats are curled up nearby. When she's not typing or daydreaming about her imaginary characters, she enjoys recharging her creative fire with a good TV show or a movie.
I can’t believe that’s the end 😭 That bonus chapter had me! Lex and Andrea have been through so much in this one compared to the first two. Their relationship goes to a whole new depth and you just know these two were going to fight to the very end for each other. I also love that Andrea is a badass heroine in this 💪 we don’t get many heroines in the modern day worlds in books and I lived for this. Her noble qualities shine such a light for Lex in this book and it’s admirable. They got the ending they deserved and then some. As for the story/plot line I loved how complex it was, and how well thought out it was. There was many moments I sat on the edge of my seat thinking ‘oh god, this is it’ bit it was turned around in ways I didn’t see coming and it really kept me gripped the whole way through. The heat is also something else in this one, it’s much more intense, but still very tasteful and they definitely like to keep it interesting 🤌 All in all I loved it and I’m sad it’s over. Worth the read if you’re looking for a series that is packed with spice but looking for something with some stem vibes, found family feels, geeky references and a whole heap of hero complexes 💪
I enjoyed this series overall. The first two books were excellent. This one fell a bit flat for me unfortunately. Especially from the time Lex was released until the last 25% or so when Lex and Andrea took down the big bad. It could have been about 200 pages shorter and still had all the same stuff happen.

What an ending to this trilogy! This was a high stakes book and takes a step back from the workplace romance trope that was in the previous books.
I really loved Andrea in this book and found her to be such a strong FMC, especially in this book.
There was a lot going on in this book, but to me, that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. What I will flag though is that I thought there were some conversations between the MCs and SCs that seemed too convenient and that there was a lack of consequence (towards the end).
I was on an adventure with this book, and I was strapped in for the entire ride.
idk if the bonus chapter was just apart of the kickstarter copies, but i hope it is apart of the official release because it was one of my favourite bonus chapter I have ever read. it was the perfect way to complete Alex and Andrea's story ❤️
if you think the first two books in this series is spicy, then just you wait 🤭🤭🔥
First Impressions: In the third installment of "Bianary Hearts," Andy (FMC) and Lex (MMC) must face the biggest challenges of their intense, whirlwind romance, and square off against nefarious men to protect themselves and those closest to them.
Pacing: This was a fast-paced, nail-biting romantic adventure. I finished this in two days, because I could not put it down. The passage of time and sequence of events feel fluid and natural. I gripped my seat and my heart raced right until the end.
Character development: I didn't think I couldn't love Andy and Lex more after "The Passion Parameter," but I was wrong. Our MCs grow together in their affection and passions. The reader truly bears witness to their highest highs and lowest lows. Lex, despite his struggles and flaws, learns to relinquish control to the smartest person he knows, and Andy's courage and strength erupts from the page vividly. The reader also gets to see some real growth from Oli, and my own suspicions from Book Two were confirmed 😉
World Building: The reader travels quite a bit with Andy and Lex, from the misty woods of Canada to the beaches of Belize and beyond to the Big Apple. Each location feels a little magical while also deeply grounded in reality. The reader gets to enjoy the loving, sensual, joyous bubble shared between Andy and Lex. However, there are no punches pulled with the very real world acknowledgements of unchecked power, classism, and the criminal world.
Romance: Andy and Lex have a beautiful romance that emerges from their early struggles. There are very intense scenes featuring arguments and conversations that feel almost too real between them. In the end, however, they succeed through love, compassion, and trust.
Spice: This is by far the spiciest of the three books. While "The Desire Variable" shows explosive, intense scenes between the MCs and "The Passion Parameter" reveals the initial explorations into new territory of their connection, this book is different. The MCs explore their boundaries and limits set against serious dangers and uncertainty. Growing affection and trust occurs both inside and outside the bedroom.
Errors and Consistency: This was a squeaky clean draft. The author uses a clear, consistent voice, and I found no spelling or grammatical errors.
Overall experience: I'M WRECKED. I genuinely don't know what to do with myself. I've waited so long for Book Three, and it was so surprising and satisfying, but now it's over. I laughed, I cried...I cried a lot. I balled up my fists in anger and frustration so many times. I feel such a deep connection with Andy and Lex on such a personal level. There are little bits of them that I see mirrored in myself: Andy's soft but intense heart, Lex's need for distance and control, and their shared need for cerebral attraction to find that deeper connection in another person. When Book Two ended on such a devastating cliffhanger (Book One's cliffhanger was also cruel), I felt like the air had been sucked from the room. Book Three was like all the oxygen returned to my lungs at once, leaving me delirious, my head spinning. This is my new favorite trilogy. As a queer person who can really only find deeper affection and attraction through shared intellectual interests, I've never felt so seen by a story; by an author. In my own life, I've found the Lex to my Andy (okay, minus the billionaire part), and I feel so validated by seeing a similar connection between two fictional characters. There were moments that articulated joy, sadness, and attraction in ways I've never been able to articulate myself. I can't wait to see what Ana D'Arcy pens next. Until then, I'm sure I will reread "Bianary Hearts" another time or two. But for the moment, I need to sit with myself and feel the spectrum of emotions this one left me holding.

Before starting the review, I’d like to thank Ana Darcy for giving me an ARC. It means so much to me. Thank you.
The final book in the trilogy was everything I had hoped for. Following that cliffhanger, the stakes are way too high and Lex and Andy really went through the wringer in this one to get their ‘ordinary and boring life’.
This book was very different from the other two books in the sense that, while the first two books mainly focused on their workplace romance, the setting in this one was changed. It felt like a thriller romance with the way the book had me on the edge of my bed at times.
Andrea really shined in this one. She went on a “touch him and die” mode and I loved watching her prove Lex wrong every time when her crazy ideas worked. Andrea has always been a relatable character, with being a food addict, doomscrolling, sitting on the couch and watching movies all day and throwing a movie reference here and there. I think many people can relate to her and Ana did a fantastic job at creating a dorky, geeky golden retriever FMC as I feel like it’s not done much in books.
Then there’s Lex, our very own genius Greek God. Despite being a genius, he can be so stupid sometimes. I mean is it even a book without him trying to break up with Andrea to protect her? I don’t think so. It was so cute reading him worrying over Andrea. I think 75% of this book was just Lex worrying and reluctantly participating in Andrea’s crazy antics.
I’ve always liked that their relationship has never been linear. They’ve had their ups and downs and their disagreements and their fights which felt realistic. The spice in this one was so different and intense from usual. As much as the spice was amazing(I mean who am I kidding? It’s Lex), I lived for their domestic scenes. There’s this entire part in the middle of the book where you get them being just cute and wholesome, I was smiling the entire time.
Also, that bonus chapter was so perfect! That little tidbit just made the book even more better. It was so beautiful and everything that Lex and Andy had hoped for. It truly felt like a gift.
The final book in the trilogy lived up to all my expectations and hype. I cannot wait to go back and reread the trilogy from start to finish. I’m really going to miss our stubborn adorable nerds.
My honest rating is ♾️/5 ⭐️. This is the third and last book in the Binary Hearts series. I could’ve read it in two afternoons but I delayed the ending of purpose because I didn’t want it to finish, I didn’t want to say goodbye to Andrea and Lex and this story. In this book there are bits of lots of literary subgenres. There’s love, of course, and smut, but there’s espionage, thriller, mystery, comedy. It’s intense and hooked till the end. I don’t want to spoil anything but this is the last book in a trilogy and I think read the first two books is almost mandatory. After Lex being arrested, their relationship is suffering from the distance, the lack of communication (not a miscommunication trope, he’s in jail) and how Lex is coping with it. But Andrea is a force of nature and willing to risk everything for the live their deserve. Of course the plot thickens and getting out of all this mess is way more complicated than it seems at the beginning and they have to work in tandem and risk everything to win that happy ever after they deserve. Ana’s writing is outstanding!!! She deserves all the credit in this world. This book is mind blowing, how she travels from suspense and thriller vibes with comedy, romance and spies!! (There’s even a heist!!!, could you ask for more?) So if you have the read previous book you need to read this one. If you haven’t read this series: please go! Tropes you can find in this book: - workplace romance - no 3rd act break-up - dual 1st person POV - found family - love against adversity - smut - neurodivergent representation - thriller vibes/ espionage - woman in STEM
This book has plenty of wide-open door scenes, smut incredible written that will keep you fanning yourself 🥵🥵
My ratings: ♾️/5⭐️ 3,5/5🌶️
I’ve received this book as an ARC and I’d like to thank the author, Ana D’Arcy, for letting me read this book in advance and allow me to give my honest opinion.
I must admit, this is not my first read of this book. Following along from her first original publication, I, and I’m sure many others, have been readily anticipating the release of Andy and Lex’s closing chapter. D’Arcy has an unteachable ability to combine humour and steam with independence and loyalty, allowing each theme to develop without overshadowing another.
The portrayal of each character in this book is meticulously designed to encompass you in their emotions and thought processes as their storylines develop. I truly feel that each person who chooses to pick up this series will be left a better person. As a female in a male dominated STEM industry who is continuously fighting to be seen and respected, I connect strongly to this trilogy. I truly believe ‘The Love Constant’ creates a space for readers of any demographic and background to see a little bit of themselves between the pages.
D’Arcy’s commitment to The Binary Hearts Trilogy is exemplified by how effortless the messages of commitment, trust, vulnerability, and strength are developed - exemplified in ‘The Love Constant’. I truly could not have asked for anything more.
I joined D’Arcy’s kickstarter campaign again not just to show my support of her hard work, but also because I would’ve done anything to read this book sooner!!! If that doesn’t say enough about the impact and excitement she’s created, I don’t know what will 🔥. I’m also not part of the ARC community, so I’m here writing this review purely because I want to recommend and acknowledge the excellence of this book, and hopefully convince someone else to give the trilogy a read!
Thank you, Ana. Thank you for making myself (and I’m sure many others) feel seen.
STEM MCs: computer programmers Make sure you read the content warning before starting this book as there are some potentially triggering topics covered. This is the final installment of this trilogy. It picks up right where book 2 left off, and you absolutely cannot read this book without reading the first two. Andrea is a brilliant badass and much less dramatic in this book than she was in the last one. She gets shit done and saves the day left, right, and center in this one. I love that for them, but I love that for her more! I also love that I was wrong about the motives and actions that I thought were alluded to in the last book by a side character, that was an excellent twist. This book was much more suspenseful than the previous two books in the series, so there were lots of twists and turns. I do feel like there were too many twists and turns though. This final book was very long, and it felt a bit like a telenovela. Thankfully this is the last book, so no cliffhangers, and the HEA is complete. As with all of the books in this series, there's a ton of spice, and like I've said before, I could do without so many scenes, but it is satisfying after what they've gone through to see them together and happy. 3.5 stars!

I had the absolute pleasure to receive an ARC from the author of the book and I am leaving an honest review.
The Love Constant is book 3 of the Binary Hearts Trilogy.
Your Honor, I love them. This is the best ending for this incredible couple!!! They went through so much in this book. After that cliffhanger, I loved how each one fought for their relationship and safety. They face a lot of challenges and dangers in this part of the trilogy, but come out on top by working as a team and trusting each other. Andy consolidated herself as a badass intelligent heroine. And Lex…learns to trust her intelligence and instincts and to cede control to her. I loved the openness and vulnerability he displayed. They absolutely grow a lot and work for their future. And the chemistry…as always: incendiary!!
I can’t believe this story is over, I was eagerly waiting for this book. And had so much fun reading, it was a rollercoaster of emotions. One moment I could be laughing out loud and the next crying. The bonus chapter was just chef’s kiss, bringing us into the future with them.
I can’t wait to read what Ana writes next!!! Thank you for letting me be on this ARC Team.
I received this book early as a Kickstarter bonus. I've loved this series the whole way through and as I sit down to write this review, my heart is so full and I'm still sobbing from the bonus chapter.
Watching Lex and Andy grow, fall more in love, defeat great evils and live life in every way through this book has caused so many emotions.
I spent so much of this book clutching my chest and screaming because of the horrors and the wild plans that only two brilliant minds could scheme up. I feel like I've lived two lifetimes of stress through this book and I loved every minute of it. Lex is utterly devoted and obsessed with Andy and there's nothing I love more than a man who loves his woman. Andy would go to any lengths, move any mountain and try any scheme to make sure Lex is happy and fulfilled. It's truly magical to read.
This was a stellar conclusion to this series and I'm sad to be done with it. But the bonus chapter really brings it all together beautifully. I'm so happy that I'm still crying.
Wow, wow, wow and sprinkle some more Wow in there!
After leaving on a huge cliffhanger from book 2 I was dying to see how it was all going to unfold and I was not disappointed! Lex and Andy are just the perfect couple in my opinion they had me on the edge of my seat for almost the entire book, the rest was spent crying!
This book bought back all our favourite side characters, I love seeing what everyone else is also upto throughout the duration of the trilogy. I love how they all support and car for both Andy and Lex in their own ways.
This book will have to gasping, crying and and leave you begging in the best way! And the way this book ends... damn!
Ana this trilogy is absolute perfection! And I cannot wait to see what comes next! I would highly recommend this series to anyone and everyone looking for a dominating nerd and his fiesty dork. For fans of Contemporary Romance, Boss X Employee, Soulmates, Nerds, Women In STEM and some extremely delicious spicy goodness.
This book picked up right after book 2. Lex is incarcerated due to evidence claiming he is Nammota, the hacker. Andy, will try anything to get Lex out, no matter what.
We got to see their relationship going through it! But each of them were determined to not give up on each other and the future that they both dreamed of together.
This book was definitely spicer than the others and I did not hate it at all 🥵
I was not expecting so many side quests that these two got into, but it kept me on the edge of my seat. We definitely need Andy and Lex to help take down a few “bad guys” politicians in this world, if you know what I mean.
There were definitely heavier topics discussed in this book so I highly recommend reading trigger warnings before starting.
I am sad to see their story end, but Ana did a great job with how their relationship continued in the bonus chapter to see how they got their HEA.
I am so thankful to be on Ana’s Street Team and for receiving this ARC. Cannot wait to read what she writes next.
Ahhh!!! FINALLY THE LAST BOOK of the series and what an ending it was! There was drama, suspense and sooo many emotions! This series has been such a wonderful journey!
Andy & Lex’s story picks right up at the cliffhanger of Book2! And without spoiling anything for everyone… the first 1/3 of the book was a doooozzzzzyyyyy! And Im here thinking…. But there’s so much more story.. what else COULD HAPPEN?!?
Ohhhh my dearest reading community…. SOO MUCH MORE happened! And I COULD NOT stop reading! And ahhhh it was so amazing!!!
All I can say is that ANA IS AN A GENIUS WRITER! And she tells FABULOUS stories so if you haven’t read book 1… or 2… and soon 3…..GO NOW! I highly recommend this series!
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸… 💜Women in STEM 💜Boss/Employee 💜Praise 💜Suspense 💜I would ☠️ for you 💜Dual POV 💜Open Door - So spicy!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I was DYINGGG to read this book after that cliffhanger in the last one and it DID NOT disappoint!! Ana certainly increased the spice level but also the domestic relationship I wanted from Adrea and Lex all along. This book was sooo adorable but also had a mystery edge and an absolutely heartwarming relationship. I am obsessed with Andy and Lex’s love and devotion to each other and they both have set the bar so so high, I fear nobody could match them. I cannot believe it has been 3 books of their story and to read it all come to an end in that last chapter was so so beautiful!!
I cannot thank Ana enough for giving me these characters and my probably my favourite book couple of all time 😭🫶🏻🥹
As someone who had the opportunity to read this series long before it was published, this review was long overdue. I was blessed with an arc copy and since that day, I have reread the book twice. Andy and Alex have a special relationship that blossoms more and more with each book, where in the final book, the bloom is just as beautiful as expected.
Book 3 is all the steam, heartbreak, angst and love that we have been getting in the first two books, but amplified. The couple gets tried over and over again, yet they keep finding and trusting each other despite every test. As a lover of happy ending I can actually sleep tonight knowing my faves got the happy ending they envisioned and more.
This book def me kept on the edge of my seat the whole time. NGL I was trying to skip a few chapters at first bc I just wanted to know what happened at the end, but if you read ahead you WILL get lost (bc of the so many twists/turns/shocks) so I recommend reading the book in its entirety, I promise you won’t regret. This book def felt the most sci-fi of the three (book 1 is still hands down my fave), but it was still very interesting nonetheless. If your into MAJOR DRAMA/CRAZY EVENTS, like the sense of not being able to put down a book (bc there genuinely is no good way to pause this book when ur reading it 😭💀), I would def recommend.
From office romance to cybercrime fighting shenanigans, this book takes a turn, and then another turn, and then another. The spice is spicy and the characters are super lovable, but I seriously missed the Kelex crew and wanted more time in the Lair. The novel is a relatively satisfying end to the trilogy, but it fell a little flat for me. The middle third of the book could have been dropped and the story would have been just as satisfying.
Having said that, Andrea is a badass, and she carries the story and the relationship.
Thank you to the author for this ARC in exchange for my honest feedback.
I was so excited to read this book after that cliffhanger in the last one and it DID NOT disappoint!
Watching Lex and Andy grow, fall more in love was everything I was hoping for. I spent so much of this book clutching my chest and screaming because of everything happening. The twists and turns will have you wanting to read faster just to see what would happen next. I loved every minute of the wild ride that is this book. Lex is utterly devoted and obsessed with Andy and I love that. Andy would go to any lengths, to make sure Lex is happy. It's truly magical to read how their story played out. I hate to see this series end but it was an absolutely perfect ending!
The final chapter of Andy & Lex has wrapped up nicely. As a woman in STEM I was drawn to the premise of this trilogy and happily continued through all three books. I find some of the technical situations to be a little cliché but easy enough to overlook in the grand scheme of things. There were A LOT of twists and turns that drug out the story maybe a bit too long.
The epilogue and bonus chapter were a nice way to wrap up the story.
Will probably edit review and add more thoughts later after processing the story more.

This story felt so raw, intimate, and real. The tension? Perfect. The longing? Aching. And the emotional depth between the characters had me highlighting half the book. It's the kind of romance that isn't just about falling in love, it's about choosing love, fighting for it, and holding onto it even when everything feels uncertain. I felt so many emotions in this read, from hate to love, to understanding.
A satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series. This book made me cry, it made me laugh and it made me swoon. I can’t believe it’s over :(
Andy and Lex have drawn me in since the beginning. To see their love begin, grow, go through trials but still overcome them truly made me feel all the feels. I’m super thankful to have received an ARC from Ana. This opportunity has been everything to me. I will miss these two dorks. Make sure to support our girly when this releases
This author is amazing. Lex and Andy’s final chapter was more than expected… spice, love, LOVE, MORE SPICE, thrilling adventures that made me hold my breath… and that bonus scene was perfect. Highly satisfied and I already miss these characters… ❤️ btw this was received by AUTHOR but my phone is messing up lol.
A perfect ending to this series! This book had everything: love, laughs, SPICE, suspense, the FBI, undercover work, island adventures, Canadian wilderness, and so much more! Sad to see this series come to an end, but I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nerdy romance with a lot of depth ❤️
