DNF. I got halfway through. I kept hoping it would get better. The storyline is actually really good. It’s the MFC. She is driving me up the wall. I just wanna slap her myself. She’s stupid, irrational, illogical. TSTL. Very honestly I’d kill off myself if it would make the story better.

I love me some KC Crowne books. Mafia romance is my jam right now and this one delivered. While it wasn’t my fav from this author it was still a great read.

Gabriella Reese is an overworked, under appreciated assistant to the arrogant, frustrating, and ridiculously handsome CEO of AngelCorp. He demands perfection and doesn’t care about whether she has a life outside of business hours because his company takes priority. Three years of listening to his bs and she is at her breaking point. Until he turns her whole world upside down. Now she has to decide to stay or run.

Sasha Orlov is the Pahkan of the Orlov Bratva as well as the CEO of AngelCorp. He wants to Bratva to be legit and is working hard to end a decades long war with the Morozov Bratva. He doesn’t show affection, he doesn’t allow himself to love or be loved and he can’t show weakness. But Gabby is the one thing he is trying and failing to stay away from.

This had all the mafia elements you expect from a Bratva drama, family betrayal, kidnapping, murder, ambush, bloodbath, etc. Plus all the good stuff, tension, spice, witty, snarky banter and our sassy girl putting our big bad, morally gray book boyfriend in his place.

I loved their relationship and how she gave just as good as she got. And while he was in charge most of the time, she always had something to say about it. But he secretly loved it.

This is a curvy girl story also and I love the body positive aspect as well as her finding her voice among the skinny jackles that think they are above reproach because of the size of the dress they wear.

If you’ve never read one of KC Crownes book give this mafia romance a go. It’s a great story with awesome characters and an hea that doesn’t leave you hanging.

Sasha and Gabbie start off with a strong boss/employee dynamic. Sasha is demanding, rough around the edges, and expects total dedication. The tension between them is immediate and layered with unspoken history.

As a war brews with a rival Pakhan, secrets begin to surface — and I loved how Crowne slowly unraveled the deeper connection between Sasha and Gabbie. Nothing felt rushed. The twists kept coming, and just when I thought I had it figured out… I didn’t.

Gabbie is a curvy queen and I absolutely loved that her body is celebrated, not criticized. She’s strong but still emotionally vulnerable, and while she sometimes takes risks she probably shouldn’t, it made her feel real. Sasha’s possessiveness and protectiveness? Peak silver fox energy.

Bogdon (Sasha’s enforcer) adds another layer of tension, and the danger throughout the story keeps the stakes high.

And that final twist? So good. It takes this from standard mafia romance to something bigger.

A Destined Union to Bring About Peace -

Even though Gabby knew everything Sasha did was for her benefit and safety, she still tried everything to push back, as she wasn’t sure of how their future would turn out.

However, fate had other ideas in store for Gabby, as she discovered her life was going to be linked with Sasha in the future and even though she tried to hide her secret from him, he soon found out, which made his protectiveness of her increase more. Spending time in close proximity was sometimes difficult for Gabby and Sasha’s relationship, as she felt smothered and anxious at time, which led to ongoing conflicts. Unfortunately, Sasha was keeping a very big secret, that had a potential impact on their lives, but chaos ensued before he could reveal the secret to Gabby.

Nevertheless, Gabby found out the secret before Sasha could come clean, which ended up being the reason to stop the violence between two Bratva families. Luckily, Sasha and Gabby got a chance to continue their relationship towards the happily ever after they wanted. This was a gripping romance story filled with mystery, intrigue, drama, a secret twist and steamy encounters, that will take you on an epic reading adventure. You definitely won’t want to miss out on reading this book.

This is not your typical age-gap romance. In fact, the age gap is hardly mentioned. This is much more a Bratva story. Gabriella is overworked and underappreciated by her stern hot boss. She decides to quit and walks in on Sasha in the middle of some alone time with him growning her name. Things escalate sexually and she doesn't quit.

The expectation at this point is that he'll soften towards her, ask her to move in, and she'll live happily ever after being taken care of and no longer working. Hardly. She continues to work, he softens only a little, and there is no mention of him taking care of her. It's unexpected.

Things turn violent when an attempt is made on her life and that does escalate things, but their romance has stops and starts and isn't very romantic. She is strong and stubborn and he is stern and bossy. She spends a lot of time unsure of her future and her bodyguard has more warmth than Sasha (platonically). It kept me guessing as to how things would turn out.

There are hot scenes and just a little cuddling. Secrets increase the tension. When everything goes wrong, it's hard to envision a happily ever after for these two. Somehow, the author turns things around without just sweeping things under the rug. Gabriella is the woman Sasha needs and he's smart enough to let her in after she forgives him for the lies.

Okay so. That opening chapter? Immediately obsessed.
The boss/assistant tension is chef's kiss from page one. He's infuriating in the best possible way and she absolutely refuses to be a pushover even when her body is betraying her completely. The midnight office scene is bold and unapologetic and honestly? Good. This book knows exactly what it is and leans in.
What I really didn't expect was how much I'd care about the plot. The Bratva backstory unfolds gradually in a way that doesn't feel like an info dump, and the Gabby/Peter connection is a genuine twist that lands properly. The warehouse showdown near the end is tense and cinematic and "I'm your daughter" hollered across a gunfight is the drama I didn't know I needed in my life.
Bogdan deserves his own book. That's all I'm saying.

The middle dips a little. We get it, he's tall and devastating, but her voice is so sharp when she's being witty that the desire catalogue doesn't do her justice.

Ruth as a villain also needed a bit more meat on her bones. She works as a threat but her motivations are pretty thin until the finale.
Overall though, this is a really satisfying read. Dark, steamy, just enough plot to make you feel like you earned the romance. Would absolutely recommend if you like your love interests morally grey with good suits and worse secrets.

Dirty Business is an amazingly well-written age gap romance story. I could not put it down. It was intense and suspenseful.

Gabriella is overworked. She feels like her arrogant boss doesn't appreciate the hard work she puts in day after day. He gives her ridiculous deadlines and she has had enough. She gets the courage to go to his office and tell him she is done but catches him in a private moment and cannot look away. They end up having an encounter but she wants to forget it ever happened. Gabriella decides to stay in hopes that things will be better between them.

Sasha is a demanding boss but appreciates Gabriella more than she knows. He has been attracted to her for years. He has worked hard to try to maintain how he feels about her but she has caught him at a weak moment. He doesn't want her to leave his company or be out of his life.

Gabriella is sick six several weeks later. She goes to the doctor thinking she has eaten bad food only to be surprised that she is pregnant. The baby is Sasha's. She has to make an important decision whether or not to tell him about the baby.

I loved how Sasha and Gabriella were so good for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts. Their story is filled with surprises and secrets. I look forward to the next story.

Loved it. It was gripping, thrilling, exciting, had plot twists, emotional, laughs, lies, betrayal, strength, fear, friendship, redemption and more. Gabriella is fed up with her over demanding boss after 3 yrs of extreme deadlines, no life, crazy hours work and after one too many demands storms in to tell him she quits. Only to find him self pleasuring while groaning her name. She should blast him and leave but instead she finds herself in his arms, on his desk experiencing incredible pleasure. Shocked by what’s she’s done shes unsure what to do but Sasha realizing he’s pushed too hard agrees to back off some. Events happen, surprises are found out which lead to Gabriella becoming tightly entwined with Sasha’s world of the bratva she didn’t know about. Sasha will do anything to protect her esp after shes targeted but gabby finds the tight control too much. Plus Sasha is keeping secrets that could destroy the feelings developing between them both if she finds out. And other factions are out to cause trouble for the bratva too and will use gabby as leverage if they can.
Great characters richly detailed, well developed plot, fast paced and action packed to hold interest.

How is a reader supposed to connect to the characters if you don’t know what they look like? It’s impossible. The female character feature details in this story are non-existent. However this still manages to be a somewhat captivating drama with strong MC personalities and traits. This suspenseful drama pulled me in from the first chapter……but I was continually wondering …what does the FC look like?!? Why no FC character descriptions?!? This thought process constantly interfered and interrupted the focus I was struggling to maintain. Yes, yes, I know Gabriella is curvy, etc. because that fact is reinforced repeatedly…but WHAT THE HECK DOES SHE LOOK LIKE?!? (Therein lies the REAL mystery). It’s not until chapter 23 that we’re given a very slight whisper of a hint. Yay! Unfortunately it’s too little and way too late because I was forced to stop caring and form my own visual opinion of her appearance. In order to glean some mild enjoyment from this story, I made up character details in my imagination. It no longer mattered to me what the author intended the character to look like. Lack of character details ruined any chance of a continued strong connection or maintaining that addicted reading focus. It was impossible, all due to poor character features

Everything changes the moment she storms into his office and discovers him in a very compromising situation. One impulsive decision later and their professional relationship spirals into something far more complicated, especially when Gabby discovers she is pregnant with the child of a man who also happens to be a dangerous Bratva leader.

If you like morally grey mafia heroes and dramatic workplace tension, then read this book. The chemistry between Sasha and Gabby was intense from the beginning and their back and forth arguments were entertaining. I had a lot of fun reading this dramatic and steamy story, especially when the Bratva politics started unfolding. At times the middle of the book dragged a little and some conflicts seemed to be resolved with physical intimacy rather than real communication. I also wished the villain had been developed more. Still, this was an entertaining dark romance with plenty of drama and a few surprising twists.

Gabriella known as Gabby has smarts, overworked , not appreciated, curvy and wants to quiet her job. Her boss for the last three years Sasha, a mans sexy Russian accent and demanding work load has been driving Gabby insane. Both have secrets and one is how much the other has got into thoughts.
Oh when these two get together it is full on fireworks . Now one character who I loved was Bogdan, protector, body guard and yes humour. Now Sasha is guarded and lives in a world of darkness, distrust and betrayal . Gabby’s life has not been easy but she has worked for everything and knows her boss is more than he says and when she finds herself in world, boy oh boy does she test the waters and comes back with her sassy chin up.
The twists in nearly every page and secrets old and new coming to light, you will be hooked.
Steam, chemistry, humour, angst and pure drama.

The Secrets!
Sasha, with his strict demeanor is the raw, sexy and fiercely protective Pakhan of the Orlov Bratva and CEO of AngelCorp working to legitimize his businesses. Gabby is funny, very intelligent and his sassy financial assistant who has been charged with the task of drafting an extremely important merger proposal. One night of office sex leads to a surprise pregnancy. Sasha’s insistent protectiveness of her triggers Gabby’s flight instincts to kick in resulting in her engaging in some really reckless and risky activities.
Their story has some of the things that I most enjoy in a good Bratva/mafia romance: action, drama, danger, suspense, humor, mystery/secrets, lies, assassination attempts, kidnapping, violence, emotional turmoil, revenge/vengeance, sadness, betrayal, loss, loyalty, healing, found family, happiness, romance, passion, surprise pregnancies and ultimately love.
The additional epilogues at the end of the book truly touched my heart!

Dirty Business is a steamy workplace romance that pits a cocky silver fox billionaire against his long suffering assistant Gabby who he works practically to death.
Then comes a late night at work where she is ready to tell her boss Sasha Orlov where to put his job, but instead finds him in his office speaking her name while self pleasuring.
Well that ends in quite the moment when he whispers, come here…ooh la la!
Gabby wants to forget it ever happened until six weeks later when she gets a big surprise.
Sooo many surprises pop up in this nicely written narrative that is entertaining, and brings in the Bratva dynamics, drama, passion, intrigue, danger, intensity, and secrets.
Loved the scorching hot lead characters who made this one captivating read as their relationship blew up the pages working its way to that HEA.

Gabrielle his personal assistant who he gives the task of the most crucial report that will make that happen. Shasha is a very dominating force with Gabrielle and her being a very out spoken force all of her own. They are in for many clashes! There are many many secrets Shasha is withholding from Grabrielle when he hired her straight out of the University that he chose not to tell her. The pages are filled with so much action, suspense, violence and tons of chemistry! You will be sitting on the edge of your chair. This is one you are not going to want to miss. A must read! I didn’t finish the book I’ll be honest. this is my opinion based on the 75% I did read

OK so I was hooked in the beginning. I was lead to believe the fmc was giving girl boss energy but I was wrong. 😑 she let men steamroll her at every turn, no backbone to be found. she also wasn’t making the best decision when it came to her safety. I truly tried to make this book work but after so many spicy moments I needed more… like more plot, more action. I also felt like they used sexy time as a way to get over their issues or to ignore the bigger issue instead of communicating properly . 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk my opinion. Felt like we kind of moved on from important scenes that could have given us more depth into the book or the characters. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good mafia book and this author has many more books I’m sure to find one I’ll love but for now this particular book was not for me respectfully.

This is a creation from an author who is known for her intense stories. She did not disappoint in this book. Sasha seems to be stubborn and yet it does not take priorities over those who help support him especially his assistant. So she decides that she is going to make sure that he is aware of how much she attempts to provide his sometimes unrealistic demands to the best of her ability. It does have the Bravada that Sasha is trying to make legit. So those who do not want that to happen starts to interfere and villains come out of the woodwork. Gabby ends up in the crossfire so, there is a lot going on and a lot that gets straightened out by the end of this book. Enjoyed it a lot. They're chemistry. Her determination versus his resistance to the curvy female character named Gabby who undoubtedly wants her man 100%. A very good read.

K C Crowne always delivers a "can't put down" read and this one is exactly that. We start with the boss of Angel Corp, Sasha Orlov Pakhan of the Orlov bratva being arrogant to his assistant Gabriella (Gabby) to the point of her deciding, after so many years she is going to resign. She goes to his office and .... you'll have to read for that visual. Sasha is working to legitimize a larger portion of his holdings thru a merger with the rival bratva's legitimate business. Gariella is the financial mind to prepare the needed proposal, and the story moves from there. This story has all the boxes checked Silver Fox, bratva, discovered family, surprise babies, strong and smart FMC and so much more. This book has some very interesting surprises that add so much depth to the story I couldn't stop reading. I definitely recommend reading this book and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Gabby is over worked and under apprenticated by her overbearing, perfectionist demanding, CEO boss Sasha, and these last 3 years have final taking its toll when she goes to tell him she quits she finds him in the middle of some self care and her name on his lips. Sasha is a bratva pakhan wanting to legitimise some parts of their buisness he doesnt do entanglements, but cant dent hes drawn to his sassy and curvy assistant, but one steamy night in his office leads to a positive pregnancy test, and he wont let Gabby or his child be left to his enemies, only Gabby got a secret of her own, one she doesnt know about but Sasha does, and if she discovers it will she leave him anyway? Well written the story and characters draw you in with suspense, desires, action drama, twists and more an age gap, bratva romance.

This was messy, dramatic, and completely addictive in the best way. Dirty Business leans hard into high tension workplace romance with a silver fox billionaire who is arrogant, possessive, and impossible to ignore. The chemistry between Sasha and the heroine is explosive from the start, and once that line is crossed, there is no going back. I loved the mix of power plays, forced proximity, and surprise pregnancy, plus the added mafia undertone that raises the stakes without overshadowing the romance. It is over the top, emotional, and unapologetically intense, but still delivers a solid happily ever after. If you enjoy dominant bosses, morally gray heroes, and drama turned all the way up, this one definitely brings the heat 🔥💍.

He's the sexy grumpy CEO of AngelCorp and also the Pakhan for a Bratva family. She's young, smart, plus-sized, feisty and have been working for him for over 3 years as his financial assistant. They are attracted to each other but no one act on it. Lots of hot steamy scenes and a strong fast paced plot kept the story moving at a fast pace. A great mafia trope book.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book, and although it was a bratva theme, there was way more going on than simply that. I liked more of the familial take. It seemed like I was able to be given more of the backstory to each of the characters which intertwined at points. And then that was folded into the bratva as a whole. I was very happy with the end of the book, I'm always happy with a happily ever after. I like when bad guys get their comeuppance, I like when the good guys get what's coming to them as well. A lot of the side characters for me were very interesting and I'm hoping that there are shoot-off books for them. This was overall a great read. It was quick, fun, spicy, all the things. Highly recommend!.

Sasha Orlov is the Pakhan of the mafia family and the CEO of AngelCorp. He wants Gabby to write up the proposal to merge AngelCorp’s crypto division to Dandelion Technologies. Dandelion Technologies is owned by Johan Morozov and his father Peter. Peter and Sasha’s father have been at war and since Sasha’s father passed away Sasha has taken it over. Sasha is wanting to go straight instead of criminal activities so he really wants the merger. Sasha has been keeping Gabby safe for years because she doesn’t know the whole truth about her family. This is a very fast paced book and I really enjoyed reading this book.

Dirty Business: A Billionaire Workplace Romance by KC Crowne. Wow- there is a lot going on in this story and I loved every minute of it. Gabby is whip smart and is tired of all the demands her boss puts on her. Sasha is not only her boss, but he has also been keeping tabs on her for a long time and for good reason. The push and pull and the wicked banter are wonderful. I loved the buildup to the heated attraction and jumping into the deep ends that ends up with 2 pink lines and a bit more challenges added to the mix. I enjoyed the cast of characters and how they mixed together in unique ways. I enjoyed the bits of mystery and action. And I enjoyed the romance and satisfying HEA all deserved.

I was hooked from the first confrontation. The tension between them is sharp, reckless, and completely addictive. Years of built up frustration explode in one moment that changes everything, and from there it only gets hotter.

Sasha is pure alpha energy, arrogant, powerful, and used to being obeyed. But what makes him irresistible is how fast control turns into devotion. Once he steps in, he does not waver. He protects, he claims, and he makes it very clear she will never stand alone.

The mix of boss employee tension, surprise pregnancy, and dangerous underworld stakes keeps the pages flying. I finished this grinning and slightly breathless. If you love dominant silver fox heroes who fall hard and protect harder, this one delivers.

Dirty Business by K.C. Crowne is a spicy, age-gap workplace dark romance with older billionaire, Sasha, and his overworked assistant, Gabby. One night, while working, Gabby is ready to tell Sasha, in what I'm sure is very colorful words, that she quits, but instead of doing so, she finds him inside his office, saying her name as he pleasures himself, which leads to some delicious, spicy spice between them.

Gabby intends to forget it happened, but, unfortunately, something happens that makes that an impossibility. You're in for more surprises, drama, danger, secrets, steam, all the things that grips you and holds you captive till the very end. Without question, I'd recommend this gem of a novel! 5 stars for sure!!

This book is just a great combination of steam, passion, OTT protection and possession, violence, intrigue, a 20+ age gap, and family legacy & ties.

Sasha is a silver fox who is obsessed with his assitant Gabrielle. He overworks her, and keeps her at his mercy. Until she get fed up and decides to confront him. Well, what she finds escalates into unbinding passion that has been pent up for some time. The encounter leads into a pregnancy that will surprise them both as he softens and shows his possessive/protective side, and her letting him know that her legacy is his enemy.

Twist, turns, secrets, steam are yet to follow, so get ready for an addictive read!.
