Author Nathan Christopher has done it again with another hilarious read-aloud! Told in flawless, rollicking rhyme, WHEN THE EASTER BUNNY WROTE BACK is the third installment in the When They Wrote Back series. And I say, “Keep them coming!”
This time, Jake writes to the Easter Bunny asking for tips, advice, and maybe a little magic to help him win the egg-hunting contest. In fact, his goal is to find all the chocolate in the neighborhood! But what about the other kids? How will they feel? Grab a copy and find out!
Once again, the illustrations by Pablo Pino are detailed, expressive, engaging, and a whimsical delight. I love the heartfelt message that winning isn’t everything. I can’t wait to get my hands on this funny, clever picture book to share with my grandkids. 100% recommended!

Another fab epistolary holiday book from from Nathan Christopher and Pablo Pino. This one stars Jake and the Easter Bunny! Jake doesn’t just want to find some Easter eggs. He wants to find ALL of them (all of the ones in his neighborhood, at least). Jake is all about winning. What will it take for him to figure out that winning isn’t everything?
