Khris writes slow-burn contemporary romances that will make your heart melt and your Kindle overheat!
When she’s not dreaming up new love stories, she’s either binge-watching true crime documentaries (because balance, right?) or convincing herself she could totally nail a house flip after one too many episodes of home improvement shows.
Khris also loves to travel with her family, always hunting for hidden gems in every corner of the world.
I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley; this is my unbiased opinion. The story itself revolves around the main characters of Jackie and Adam, who have interwoven family relationships. When Jackie's business is attacked by hackers she is thrown into a situation where she has to deal with sharing space with her ex, Adam. This is very much a forced proximity, second chance, communication error romance. It was a quick easy romp, nothing too deep, while several side characters were one dimensional the main character interactions were enough to keep me engaged and wondering, first what happened between them, secondly what would happen now. If you want a harder edged dream harbor, this could be a series for you. If you really need backstory and prefer plot over romance this might not be for you, but if you want to fall into a romance with plot on the side, get yourself a copy.
A solid 4 stars from me—I was pleasantly surprised by this one!
This is book 2 in the Silver Lake Falls series, and I went in blind without reading book 1. That didn’t detract from my enjoyment at all—while part of a series, it can absolutely be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed the slow-burn romance, the character development, and how the characters’ feelings and past experiences were explored throughout the story. Jackie is a strong, “boss lady” FMC—composed, poised, and guarded. I quickly got a clear sense of her powerful presence and what she stood for.
Then there’s Adam—the sarcastic, charming, and protective MMC… who also happens to be her first love, the one she ran from 8 years ago… and her brother’s best friend 😬
I loved the backdrop of a powerful tech company, combined with the suspenseful element of Jackie fleeing to Silver Lake Falls to escape threats from hackers. It added a unique twist that made the story stand out from others I’ve read.
When Adam re-enters her life, determined to protect her despite their unresolved past, it’s clear their connection never truly faded. Their chemistry is intense, with just the right amount of spice to complement the storyline. The push-and-pull dynamic between them made their relationship even more compelling.
I found myself completely invested, eager to keep reading to see how everything would unfold—and definitely rooting for a happy ending.
✨ Can there be a second chance at love? ✨
I would definitely recommend this one!
Thank you to @netgalley and @khrisandrewsauthor for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
for starters, this book has all the best freaking tropes.
dislike to lovers second chance brother’s best friend suspense forced proximity
and a little bit of miscommunication, which I usually don’t like, but I surprisingly didn’t mind with this story, because it was so well done! the added angst was very yummy.
𓂃˖˳·☾ “If you don’t mind, I like my personal space, thank you very much.”
𓂃˖˳·☾ “I like your personal space too,” he says.
HAHAHA Oh! the banter was so good.
Once again, Khris managed to pulled me out of this world and I was stuck in their universe. Is so weird, the way she writes makes me feel like I’m right there with the characters, watching from afar. Is so natural, so real and so fluid.
I was back in Silver Lake Falls, with a few trips to new york and even italy, and it was FUN. And also emotional. And funny. And the slow burn was so good. She really knows how to make em.
Finding more about Adam and Jackie, what happened between them in the past, and watching them trying to trust each other again was entertaining at best, and with the suspense in the background it made it even better. Khris really managed to keep the mystery alive without making it annoying, boring or rushed.
This was a good story, with captivating strong characters.
Adam was sarcastic, funny, sometimes an asshole, charming and could definitely push some buttons, but underneath at all, he was caring, a good friend and had some insecurities and struggles. He battled with it, being in his mind was a challenge, which made him more real to me. And I just loved him so much. He was so devoted to her even when he was hurt. This man is not real.
JACKIE, she was so strong, confident and feisty. She was a badass boss! But also vulnerable, at times, when she couldn’t hide behind a tough exterior. She was a good sister, a good friend and overall a good person, she deserved the best. I loved her sincerity and the way she handled her problems, never backing down even when she was feeling corned. The way she handled interviews… I want to be her when I grow up.
These two together made me blush the whole time. The banter was so good, the chemistry was THERE! They were fun, full of angst and made me want to put them in a room and make them talk until they were kissing nicely, yes, infuriating. Infuriating in the best way possible!
Romantic suspense is my favorite genre, so I’m always scared is not gonna live up to expectations. But Khris did it so well I didn’t want it to end ever.
Is so fun trying to guess who the “bad guy” is!
10/10 romance, loved every second of it.
I guess the only negative thing I have to say about this book (which was not even that negative because it was kind of funny) is how many times the name Derrick changed lol. I don’t know if it was an editing thing or if it was like this only on the arc version, but it didn’t really bothered me all that much, it was just noticeable.
𓂃˖˳·☾ “God, I hate this woman. And still...I ran through the city like a madman the second I thought she might be in danger.”
bonus comment with SPOILER:::
I liked how this was a reverse of the usual “the man f*cks up and has to do a big gesture to get the girl back”, this time the girl had to do some fighting, and as much as I love a man barking and groveling, I loved the idea of a little reverse situation too, felt new and fresh lol jackie i love you bbgirl. (but let’s me be honest there was no groveling needed from her because he was so down bad he was almost in hell)
Reading this story felt like stepping into a world where danger, unresolved love, and emotional vulnerability collide in the most compelling way. What drew me in immediately was Jackie Rawlings herself. She is not the typical romantic heroine who returns home simply for nostalgia. Instead, she comes back to New York burdened with grief after her father’s death and the heavy responsibility of running her family’s tech empire. I appreciated how the story presents Jackie as a strong, ambitious, and fiercely independent woman, yet at the same time someone carrying deep emotional scars. Her return to a place she deliberately left eight years ago sets the stage for a story filled with tension, memories, and unfinished feelings.
One of the aspects I enjoyed most was the second-chance romance between Jackie and Adam Erickson. Their relationship is layered with history, pain, and undeniable chemistry. The fact that Adam is her brother’s best friend adds another level of emotional complexity. Their reunion at the secluded lake house in Silver Lake Falls feels almost inevitable yet intensely uncomfortable for both of them. The forced proximity trope works beautifully here; being trapped together in a quiet, isolated setting means they cannot escape their past or the emotions they buried. Every conversation between them feels charged with both resentment and longing, which makes their interactions incredibly engaging.
Adam’s character was particularly appealing to me. Beneath his sarcasm and guarded attitude is a man who clearly never stopped loving Jackie. His struggle between protecting his heart and protecting Jackie from the growing danger around her creates a powerful emotional dynamic. I liked how the story portrays him not simply as a romantic hero but as someone deeply wounded by the past. At the same time, Jackie’s inner conflict—wanting to remain strong and independent while confronting feelings she never truly let go of—adds emotional depth to the narrative.
Another element that made the story gripping was the romantic suspense woven into the plot. The hacker attacks threatening Jackie’s company and life introduce a constant sense of urgency and danger. This suspenseful backdrop elevates the romance, making their reunion feel even more intense. The lake house setting, isolated and quiet, contrasts sharply with the invisible digital threats surrounding Jackie, creating a feeling that danger could appear at any moment. I found this combination of technology-driven conflict and intimate emotional drama very effective.
What I especially appreciated was the emotional intensity of the story. It explores themes of trust, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to face unresolved feelings. Jackie and Adam are not simply reconnecting romantically; they are confronting years of misunderstanding, hurt, and silence. Watching them slowly lower their defenses and rediscover each other was both satisfying and heartfelt.
Overall, I found this to be a compelling and emotionally rich second-chance romance. It blends romance, suspense, and personal growth in a way that keeps the reader invested in both the relationship and the unfolding mystery. The story captures the idea that sometimes the most difficult battles are not against external enemies but against the feelings we try hardest to bury. For readers who enjoy intense chemistry, emotional reconciliation, and a touch of suspense, this story delivers a captivating and heartfelt reading experience.
☼ This was a modern setting across a few different locations. One of the only things I would have changed in this book is sometimes I wanted to slow down and let a place truly shine. I loved Maple Hollow and could have read an entire book about this sweet-as maple syrup town. Adam and Jackie truly came alive here, and I loved seeing Jackie’s softer side come out when she is not being crushed under the pressure of having to present herself as the strong and in-control CEO.
☼ I liked Jackie. I really enjoyed her journey from not being able to trust to being more open and honest with her heart. I appreciated how Khris Andrews tackled the stigma of being a woman in the workplace. Jackie had people trying to tear her down to prove she wasn’t suited for her role, which is a universal struggle for women across all sectors. I love that Jackie, in maintaining her success, never tore other women down. She was a girl's girl and that made me like her so much more. I felt my heart break for her when she was thrown into situations where people were stripping her of control and making decisions for her. From one overthinker to another, Jackie, I feel your pain.
☼ Adam was also very interesting as an MMC. He wasn’t perfect but he was real. There were many layers to his personality and I supported him every step of the way in his moving away from alcohol being a coping mechanism and being brave enough to distance yourself from something that causes you harm, despite your brain telling you that it helps. Both Jackie and Adam felt like real human beings with their own trials and tribulations, which resonates with us as readers.
☼ A Time for Love shows us that when things are meant to be, they will be. Just because something wasn’t right at the time doesn’t mean it will be out of reach forever. Love isn’t always a straight road, some of us take the long way round, trip a couple of times but always manage to pick ourselves back up again.
I had the opportunity to read A Time For Love a bit early and really enjoyed it. This is my first read from Khris Andrews, and I thought the story was very heartfelt and captivating. It was very interesting getting to learn about Adam and Jackie. It was clear from the beginning how much love and passion they still have for each other in this second-chance romance. I loved reading in Adam's POV because you could just tell how much he cared for Jackie despite all the hurt and time passed. I enjoyed the dual POV. I think the writing flowed nicely and the pace was easy to follow. I enjoyed the spice, five stars. I really love the boathouse scene. I also thought the whole crime aspect was interesting and added a good part to the story. In the end, it was nice to see Adam and Jackie work through their issues with each other and within themselves. I think it was very important for them to choose themselves before they chose each other, and I think that only united them even more in the end.
Hit: I think the second chance story really hit. It seemed that even though they tried hard, they couldn't stay away from each other once they were in each other's orbit again. Miss: I wish there were an epilogue. I would have loved to know what Jackie and Adam were up to in the future. Especially since marriage and kids seem to be in the picture for both of them.
Fave quote: "Loving you is the easiest thing I've ever done. It comes naturally. Like breathing."

Original & honest ARC rating & review. I received a copy of 'A Time For Love' as my very first ARC! Since this is book two of a series, I felt it only necessary to read book one 'A Place For Love' before diving in and I’d HIGHLY recommend you do the same. It was truly one of my favorite reads of 2026. Seriously! I wasn’t sure what to expect in book two but I knew for sure that the chemistry between the FMC Jackie and MMC Adam in this **Brothers best friend/second chance romance** would be **chef’s kiss** just as it had been with the main characters in book one. I enjoyed learning Jackie & Adam’s backstory, seeing them interact and work together to solve a huge threat to Jackie's life & livelihood, as well as eventually figuring out where they went wrong in the past and what a future could look like. They can throw jabs and hit each other where it hurts, but when it matters most, they have each others’ backs! I really enjoyed the banter and romantic elements to this book. I laughed. I cried. And I really loved how Khris was able to bring all of the characters together again. Another great element to this book is how descriptive Khris is and how she makes you feel like you are in the setting. At every turn, I could see exactly what she was describing and it was beautiful. Thank you @khrisandrewsauthor for the opportunity! I can’t wait for book three 👀

Tropes *Brother’s best friend *Second-chance romance *Close proximity *Romantic suspense
A Time for Love by Khris Andrews is a gentle, emotionally grounded romance that leans into the beauty of connection, timing, and second chances. It’s the kind of story that unfolds like a quiet conversation—steady, meaningful, and filled with moments that linger.
What stands out most is the sincerity of the characters. They feel real in their hopes, fears, and vulnerabilities, making it easy to connect with their journey. The romance builds in a natural, believable way, rooted in emotional growth rather than just surface-level attraction. There’s a softness to their connection that makes the story feel comforting and genuine.
The pacing is relaxed and reflective, giving the characters space to develop and allowing the emotional beats to land. While there are a few moments where the story could have dug a little deeper or tightened slightly, it still maintains a consistent and engaging flow.
There’s an underlying theme about timing—how love doesn’t always arrive when it’s convenient, but when it’s needed—that adds a thoughtful layer to the story. It’s handled with care, making the overall message feel both hopeful and grounded.
Overall, A Time for Love is a sweet and heartfelt read that focuses on emotional connection and personal growth. It’s perfect for readers who enjoy slower-paced romances with sincerity and warmth at their core.
Thank you to NetGalley and Khris Andrews for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Review of ARC recieved from the author/booksirens 3.5⭐️
This is the second book in the Silver Lake Falls series and focuses on Jackie and Adam. Even though it’s part of a series, it can still be read as a standalone.
The story follows Jackie, the Rawlings heiress, and Adam, a guy from a small-town background. The two originally meet through Jackie’s brother. When an explosion at Rawlings HQ throws them back into each other’s orbit, things start to unfold that lead to some pretty big revelations. It becomes clear that not everyone has the best intentions, and sometimes people act in their own interests despite how things might look on the surface.
Overall, the story had a really good plot! The banter between Jackie and Adam was great and honestly pretty entertaining at times.
That said, I did have a couple of issues with it. At the beginning of the book, I was pretty confused about what the actual problem was between the two main characters. It was written in a way that made it feel like I should already know their history, almost like I needed to have read the first book to fully understand their conflict.
Tropes:
Dislike to lovers Second chance Brother's best friend Suspense Forced proximity Miscommunication
Jackie is a strong, independent boss navigating a male-dominated tech industry when she becomes the target of a cyberattack. Forced into hiding, she retreats to her brother’s home in the small town of Silver Lake Falls. There, she must also deal with Adam, her brother’s best friend and the man who was once her first love. Their relationship ended badly eight years ago when Jackie fled to London after being misled by false information from her friends. Despite the time and distance, the connection between them never truly faded. As Jackie and Adam spend more time together, their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore. But lingering doubts and unresolved pain stand in their way. Adam struggles with the hurt of Jackie not trusting him enough to stay and talk things through, while Jackie must confront the reality that she lost eight years with the love of her life because of a lie, all while dealing with ongoing cyber threats to her company. I loved the banter and tension between these two, there’s so much history, pain, and undeniable attraction. Adam’s protectiveness, even after everything, was swoon-worthy, and Jackie’s mix of strength and vulnerability made her a compelling heroine. A second-chance romance full of emotion, chemistry, and just the right amount of angst.
I absolutely have fallen in love with Khris’s books. I received the first book as an Arc through Book Sirens and love it. I will be honest and forgot a bit about what the first book was about since it was November 2024 when I read it but as soon as the second book mentioned Eliza and Carter, the memories came back flooding in. I love that there is the continuation to the other characters in the previous book.
I received the second book as an ARC through Book Sirens again.
At the beginning of the book, I was already itching to finding out exactly how Jackie and Adam parted and needed more to their story. The story line to this second book, kept me going and I felt it remained interesting and I did not get bored at all. I love second chance romance and just being able to read the history to why it didn’t work the first time.
Adam, as hard as he tried to forget, memories just continues to come flooding in when he sees Jackie. I love that he remains so protective of her from distance.
The book kept me entertaining and had me giggling.
Khris is such an awesome writer and I will continue to keep reading her book!
I enjoyed this book. I liked that the FMC was a girl boss. I thought the chemistry between the characters was good. I thought the MMC was a sweetheart, which you don't see right away, but solidifies when they go back and visit his hometown. I am not usually a fan of second-chance romance, but the fact that this romance had an 8-year gap, I think, made it much more tense.
My biggest issue with this book was that there are a lot of references to the first book, which I didn't read, and I think reading the first book would have helped fill the gaps on some of the background information, like Jackie's broken relationship with her deceased father and her brother Carter's departure from the company. Those pieces aren't fully explained in this book, and while the story doesn't require a full explanation, it makes a lot of references to the first book that I didn't understand.
This book is also pretty fast paced and jumps around a lot in storytelling and location, with a lot of characters coming in and out not fully explained. Maybe reading the first book would have helped me better understand the characters.
Overall I enjoyed it and I think I'd like the first too.
Khris writes such fun romances with a dash of thriller that are so entertaining! This is the second book in the Silver Lake Falls series, and this time we follow Carter’s sister, Jackie. She’s a billionaire tech CEO who is being targeted by an unknown group for her company’s research. She has to go into hiding while her team tries to figure out who’s behind the attacks and what they want. At the same time, she keeps getting stuck with Adam, her ex, which is bringing up old feelings and old drama from the past. Their chemistry is sooo 🥵 but their communication is atrocious 😂 I just wanted to force both of them to sit down and actually talk to each other haha. I loved reading about Carter and Eliza again, and being in the small town of Silver Lake Falls. The characters were all well written, the good ones and the bad ones! And the thriller was entertaining to keep the plot interesting and changing.
Jackie Rawlings has been targeted, and she can’t be alone anymore. Adam Erickson is her brother best friend… and her secret ex. When he moves in with her to protect her, things might get messy. I enjoyed this book! Jackie and Adam both felt very real. They had flaws that made them seem human, and the way they dealt with their own and handled each others was written so well. There were some parts that were confusing to me, that were fast paced and I had trouble keeping up. However, it wasn’t a common problem and it wasn’t anything I struggled to deal with or understand after some thought. I loved Carter and Eliza too! All the characters had a great dynamic I loved reading about. There wasn’t too much detail in here, which I really appreciated! It was fast paced and there weren’t many long parts or anything that was dragged. It was a great palate cleanser that isn’t boring or ordinary. The thrill elements were blended in well with the romance and it made for a very fun read. It had my heart racing and breaking. This is definitely a book I would recommend! Thank you Netgalley!
I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK! IT WAS SO FUN FROM THE FIRST CHAPTER THE STORY PULLS YOU IN THE SUSPENSE OF THE DANGER THREATENING THE MFC. AND THE CURIOSITY BEHIND THE TROUBLING HISTORY AND ROMANCE BETWEEN HER AND THE MMC. THERE'S A BOOK BEFORE THIS ONE BUT IT'S WRITTEN WELL ENOUGH TO STAND ALONE! ONCE ONCE1 STARTED THIS ONE IT WAS HARD TO PUT IT DOWN ONLY BECAUSE I REALLY WANTED TO SEE THE RESOLVE BETWEEN THE TWO. THE BANTER IS SO FUN AND THE SPICE BETWEEN THEM TWO WAS THRILLING TO READ AS WELL. OVER ALL THIS WAS 4 WHOLE STARS FOR ME. Finished this book today and I had a ball reading, truly it was such a great read!!!! My only complaint is so small, I'm a time stamp fan. when time progressed in between chapters there wasn't clear indication but I caught on. Besides that little tid bit this book is amazing Definitely will recommend this to my romance reading friends
Second Chance 💔➡️❤️ Forced Proximity 👀🔥 Brother’s Best Friend 😈 Slow Burn 🔥🐌
Jackie is the FMC in this book 👑💻 and shows how women can be both powerful 💪 and vulnerable 🤍 at the same time, without it compromising her role as the CEO of a tech company. She is a fierce individual 🔥 who would do anything for those she loves most 🖤 — truly an inspiration to all women ✨👸
Adam is the MMC 🖤 He’s a man who isn’t afraid to go after what he wants 😤🔥 no matter how much it hurts or how often he’s pushed aside.
Reading about a man who doubts his worth 🥺 and questions the love he deserves was honestly heartbreaking 💔 but also so heartwarming at the same time 🫶
I loved this book 😭📚 and I’m already so excited for the next story in the series 👀✨🔥
A Time for Love blends romantic suspense, forced proximity, brother’s best friend, and second chance romance well, while holding onto the smallest bit of hope.
Adam and Jackie’s chemistry is undeniable. Their history, paired with the forced proximity creates so much tension, whilst watching them navigate old feelings and facing present challenges.
The pacing dipped slightly for me, but it’s worth sticking around with it being an emotional, slightly angsty yet engaging read 💫
It’s a reminder that love isn’t a straight road, there’s no roadmap or GPS but if it’s truly meant to be…
Finding love doesn’t always mean a happy ending!
Thank you @khrisandrewsauthor for sending me this ARC.
Oh my goodness! I did not want this story to end 😭. I loved every minute of it. This is book 2 in the Silver Lake Falls series. The story followed Jackie and Adam which is a second chance romance. There was everything in this book like action, suspense, drama, romance, love, and spice. The book also had you traveling which is always fun! I think I had every emotion while reading as well! I have never found myself wanting to highlight so much in my kindle too. There were so many great quotes in this book about life and love. That goes to show you what great writing it is. Thank you so much for letting me read A Time For Love early!!! Absolutely loved it!
4.5⭐️ Thank you to Khris Andrews for the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

I enjoyed this book so much, even more than the first one! I loved getting the story of Jackie & Adam, while also still getting the glimpse into how Eliza & Carter were doing.
Everything about this book was great.. the tropes, the banter, the spice & romance. But add in the suspense and danger on top of all that... A+++.
“The way his gaze devours me sets me ablaze without even laying a finger on me.”

I was so lucky to have received an ARC of this novel and I really enjoyed it.
The first thing I loved about this book was the character development of real people who have lived real experiences, and not just positive ones. It was refreshing to read a second chance romance instead of insta-love, with added tension, memories and humour. I always enjoy reading books with multiple points of view and I really resonated with the characters and their internal struggles with trying to make the right decisions.
You will find this book hard to put down and I can't wait to read more from this author.

This had all the tropes I love, second chance, brother’s best friend, forced proximity, grumpy x sunshine, with a romantic suspense twist. The chemistry and tension between Jackie and Adam were definitely there, but I struggled with the continuity. It felt like the story assumed you had just read the previous book, and since it had been a while for me, I had a harder time fully connecting with the characters and plot. Still an enjoyable read for the tropes alone, but I wish it had stood a bit stronger on its own.
Thank you to BookSirens, Khris Andrews and publishers for gifting me this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Book 2 of the Silver Lake Falls Series. Can be read as a standalone.
'Jackie’s spent her life fighting for her reputation, her company, and now her safety. But when it comes to Adam, the real fight is resisting the man she never stopped loving. And she’s no longer sure she wants to.'
The characters were very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.
Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I got this as an ARC reader, and I am so thrilled! I actually haven't read Carter and Eliza's story, but this book can totally be read a stand alone. I love a protective MMC and Adam is just that. No matter what, he is always there when Jackie needs him.
I was SHOCKED at the mole, because I was expecting it to be another character (no spoilers here) who I DID NOT like.
Jackie is THAT girl, while she may have lost herself there for a moment, the way she handled everything after it was said and done screams BOSS BABE.
Talk about a slow burn. Half way through the book, I knew how it would end, but the characters didn't seem to understand. I was frustrated and ready to call it a rare DNF. But I gave it another page, another chapter. And the characters began to understand their roles. She hates that she has feelings, he hates that she won't give him a chance. It isn't sweet, but it is slow and complicated, just like life.
Give it time, I think you'll like the book.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I didn't like the reason why she essentially ghosted him. For a love so intense, to listen to rumours without confrontation seemed very weak. I understand that's what the author wanted to show, how much the insecurities and stress were keeping the h behind. This is the essence of the miscommunication trope, which turns out I don't like. Especially when it costs them 8 years.
for a better understanding you need to have read the first book and honestly in this one Carter (the 1st book's hero) sounded much better and less a douchebag

It is a second chance, brothers best friend, romantic suspense and the second book in the Silver Lake Falls series.
After some attacks and threats to her life, Jackie Rawlings (FMC) ends up in hiding with her brothers best friend Adam Erickson (MMC). The two have history and some serious chemistry, but danger lurks.
I really enjoyed the representation of women in the workplace, this is unfortunately something that many women deal with; when they shouldn't.
If you enjoy second chance romance, brother’s best friend, slow burn, a dash of suspense and forced proximity. I’d recommend reading A Time For Love.
I love reading books where women are in a male dominated industry and Jackie was such a strong FMC. And Adam what can I say I loved his development in the story.
Watching these two reconnect and fall in love again was everything.
Thank you to Khris Andrews and NetGalley for the ARC! This second chance romance was a great read. I loved the suspenseful mystery aspect as well. This is the second book in a series, but I hadn't read the first so it can be read as a stand alone. I'm going to grab the first book now since I liked this one so much!
Khris Andrews does an incredible job of creating characters that feel real and relatable. Their struggles, choices, and emotional journeys felt authentic, making it easy to connect with them on a deeper level. I especially appreciated how the story didn’t rush the romance—it unfolded naturally, allowing the relationship to develop in a way that felt genuine and meaningful.
