When she’s not reading or writing, she can be found at home in her mini library, binge-watching a show, traveling with her husband and three kids, roller skating, or on TikTok scrolling for hours.

Chelle has just gotten out of an abusive relationship with Carter but was still on pins and needles. Cause where is this fool at, and when will he strike next? 👀 She now has her eye on her besties twin brother Deuce. Girl, going from the frying pan to the fire huh? 🤯 She knows a bit about Deuce's crazy, but forges ahead anyway.

Deuce stays to himself and walks to the beat of his own drum. However, when it comes to the few people he cares about, he is willing to go to war. When he is asked to watch out for Chelle, he sees her in a new light. He had always noticed her but didn't "see" her as he does now. When she propositions him, I knew that the fire had been lit and someone was getting burned! 😜 His possessiveness came quickly, and her safety was all that Deuce cared about.

Although I liked this read for the most part, I still felt like something was missing. Why was Carter so obsessed with Chelle? Because his ego wouldn't let her walk away from him? Chelle spoke of her experiences with darkness but would like to have had that explored a bit for better understanding.
Everyone calls Deuce crazy, but does he have a diagnosis? What is he taking medication for? Is it more than the dark periods going on with him? I was wondering why Mia was acting so stank, and damn! She done messed around and let the wrong two people learn of her lil secret! 😮 Looking forward to Sin's read. We've only been able to learn tid bits about him, and I'm anxious to know more.

Rating 4.5 ⭐️ Deuce is absolutely unhinged but somehow in the best way possible. 😂 This man wakes up every day ready to choose violence for the people he loves and honestly I respected every second of it. Beneath all the chaos, reckless decisions and I’ll burn this whole city down energy was a man who loved HARD and protected even harder.

Nichelle’s story broke my heart because surviving abuse changes the way you move through the world. Watching Deuce love her through those scars without treating her like she was fragile was what really sold me on them. He saw every jagged edge and still said mine. That’s the kind of intensity that’ll either heal you or have you hiding under the bed.

Carter 🥷 play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Deuce was not the one to test. At all. That man tortured him for 2 weeks!! 🎶Dumb ways to die 🎶

Now let’s discuss the real star of the book: Deuce stealing those baby goats. I was cracking UP. One minute this man is ready to commit felonies for revenge, next minute he’s out here collecting goats like an emotional support farmer. The range!

B. Nicole Anderson really gave us chaos, obsession, protection, healing and laughter wrapped in leather jackets and biker energy. Love me some Deuce bad self.

Ohhhh and I'm holding my side eye for Mia the jealousy is ridiculous. Hash that shiiii out with Sin!

Deuce and Chelle gave us that sister’s best friend / brother’s crush tension and they knew it. The yearning between them was undeniable, but timing, maturity, and a messy exes kept them from taking that leap. Still, when it mattered most, Deuce stepped up in a way that showed exactly who he is and Chelle couldn't refuse!

The pacing of this story was on point. We got updates on characters from part one, and it really helped deepen the connection to the overall series. Watching how Sunflower (Chelle) became exactly what Deuce needed added another layer to the story.

Deuce has always been the wild, funny, don’t-take-life-too-seriously type, so seeing him actually feel something real for someone? That was everything. Seeing a man also battling his own mental health was refreshing. Deuce was funny but he ain't deny his flaws, he was coming 10 toes behind Chelle. His goals were keeping her safe by any means necessary.

I really enjoyed their chemistry their connection felt natural, and the way they supported each other made it even better. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.

Nobody could ever make me hate Deuce!! 😮‍💨🔥 B. Nicole Anderson absolutely did her BIG one with this book because I devoured every single page.

This story had me stressed to the max, emotionally invested, and ready to fight Carter, IYKYK!!😤
I am an absolute sucker for a hard, ruthless MMC who’s only soft for the woman he loves, and Deuce delivered in every way. Watching him step in to protect Chelle, love her fiercely, and completely lock in with her had me swooning. Their chemistry was undeniable, and I couldn’t get enough of them.
Despite all the warnings at the beginning of the book, I actually jumped into this one before reading Enzo and now I completely understand the hype. Consider me officially obsessed because I need the rest of this series immediately. If anyone’s looking for me, I’ll be catching up on everything I missed. 😂

If you love protective alpha heroes, high-stakes romance, ride-or-die loyalty, and a story that’ll have you yelling at fictional characters one minute and kicking your feet the next, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

**ARC REVIEW**

I thought I loved Enzo but sorry E I have to switch over to Deuce! That man is hilarious, protective, depressed and a visual representation of my childhood “type”.
Nichelle the FMC, I felt so bad for her but i’m so glad she got out of that relationship and Carter PAB got an edging ending he deserved.
I love the whole dynamic, one big happy protective found family. You mess with one and all of them are coming for you NO MATTER WHAT!
I really didn’t want this one to end and as rude as it was to leave us with a to be continued…i’m happy because that means it’s not over yet!
I can’t wait to see what’s going on with Mia because miss thang had a stank attitude the whole book. The twist at the end 🤯 I thought she liked Deuce but boy was I wrong.

Also, let’s normalize putting a recap in the beginning so I can have a fresh reminder. Reading the recap had me sad all over again!

Book 2 of Troubled Sinners Trilogy. Can be read as a standalone but for maximum enjoyment read the books in series order.

'What begins as curiosity becomes obsession. Deuce wants her. He wants to protect her, claim her, burn down the world for her to help her reclaim her power. And Nichelle, with all her jagged edges and hidden fire, finds herself drawn to the dangerous man who sees her not as broken… but as his.'

The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great addition to the trilogy. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!.

Deuce by B. Nicole Anderson had me stressed in the best way. This isn’t a soft love story… it’s heavy, emotional, and full of tension. Deuce is the type of man you know is dealing with demons, but the way he moves? You can’t look away. And Chelle? She sees him for who he really is, which honestly makes everything hit even harder.

There’s this constant push and pull between wanting love and not knowing how to handle it, and it shows up in a way that feels real. I was side-eyeing, feeling for them, and rooting for them all at once. And just when you think things might settle down… yeah, no.

If you like your romance a little dark, emotional, and unpredictable, this one will pull you in quick.

📖Overall Review: Ok..ok… Deuce is not to be played with. I really enjoyed myself. Quick and fast paced read. Tropes of forced proximity always make for a good time. Also our FMC is his sisters best friend. One who really doesnt have the support needed so it kind of gives that found family feel. Deuce is really a hoot😭. I love this series and the fact that we get to see men be vulnerable and in their truest form. The MMC battling depressive episodes is very much realistic. My only beef was with Chelle. Because of what shes been through I wanted her to come harder behind her little brother. I love how this ended. I Can’t wait for book 3.

WHEW!!!!

This book sent me on an absolute emotional rollover coaster. I loved every bit of it.

Deuce is completely misunderstood. He battles so many things at once. I love how B Nicole Anderson displayed the struggles of mental illness that men struggle with so vividly. Stepping into Deuces life is like stepping into the world of black men who struggle with mental illness. This both needs to be seen more and also is very important.

I highly recommend this book. Ps Carter got what he deserved, Poppy is goated, and Sin is still daddy …..literally haha . Mia needs her ass whooped come on now !

Deuce is a man hardened by life, he shows humour to hide the darkness he doesnt need attatchments let alone love, until Chelle shatters his world. Chelles life hadnt been easy but getting away from her abusive ex was a much needed fresh start if she can take the step, only she catches the attention and becomes the obsession of Deuce, and hell do anything to protect her and show her shes his everything. Well written high emotions, trauma, desires, obsession and more.

The way that Deuce wanted to protect Nichelle and help her find that inner strength and die that he knew she had. Awesome. The way he wanted her period was great. Seeing him and Nichelle connect really pulled me into this story. I saw something in both of them that neither were seeing fit themselves. But together they were able to bring that out of one another. This was a really great read.

I enjoyed this book and I loved me some Deuce! I’m glad he was able to find someone to love him through the dark. I love that Nichelle could be his sunflower. I’m ready for noon 3 with Mia stank behind.

This was good

Now I liked Enzo’s book a lot but Deuce book was fire 🔥. I knew Mia was hiding a secret. Enzo picked up on Bailey when he first saw her! I can’t wait to see what Sin does when he finds out!
