It's Only You
Juliette has mastered the art of pretending she's fine. Fine with the family that suffocates her. Fine with the ex who left her broken. Fine with a life that feels smaller every day.
Then a chance encounter with quiet, handsome Conner sparks something new and frightening—because when he looks at her, it feels like he sees every crack she's trying to hide.
But Conner isn't just fighting for her heart. He's battling the nightmares of a childhood he never really escaped.
Loving him means confronting the past Juliette swore she'd never face again.
Maybe the real risk isn't the trauma.
Maybe it's discovering that love might be the only place they're truly safe.

Juliette is great with pretending everything is fine. It doesn't matter that her dad is unhappy with her career choice, or that her ex made her lose both her self-esteem and self-confidence. By chance she meets Conner, her old high school crush. He seems to see everything she wants to hide and he evokes new feelings in her. Conner has a tragic background of his own, one he can’t escape from. The question is if he can let Juliette in?
This is the second book in the Woven Hearts series (can be read on its own), and my first by Amelia C Rose - but hopefully not my last! I've been angry, sad, happy, frustrated, delighted; it was truly an emotional read! Some scenes were really tough to read and I recommend checking trigger warnings in the beginning of the book. I don't mind s*x scenes, but I don't need to know ALL the details, and "dirty talk" is definitely not for me, but that's just my personal liking and easy to skim over when I want.
I would have liked to have dual POV's, not only Juliette's, but the reason for not quite reaching five stars (in my opinion) is that the relationship developes very fast. Yes, I’m more for a slow-burn than insta-love romance, but with Juliette's experience from her ex-boyfriend I would have been more suspicious and taking it slow, so it felt a bit unrealistic. With that said, I love how Conner slowly rebuilds Juliette's confidence again, and how she shows she's there when he's ready to share. I also love all the nicknames they have for each other and the found family vibes. And when Juliette finally confronts her dad and gives him an ultimatum!
* I received an ARC from the author and I'm giving my honest review. *

Some romances just hit that sweet spot where the chemistry, emotions, and characters all keep you turning the pages.
Jules and Conner both had so much to work through, and watching them find comfort, trust, and genuine happiness together was incredibly satisfying. Their connection moved quickly, but it still felt like we got to experience the important moments as they slowly let each other in.
Jules’s growth was one of my favorite parts. Seeing her rebuild her confidence, learn to trust herself again, and realize that her past doesn’t define what she deserves was so rewarding. Conner was such a caring and patient hero, and I appreciated how they supported each other while both working through their own struggles. Their relationship felt sweet and safe while still bringing plenty of chemistry and steam, and the emotional side of their story gave me all the butterflies.
Between the tender moments, spicy scenes, humor, and some genuinely emotional parts, I stayed invested throughout. Pedro the cat was also an absolute bonus and provided some much-needed chaos.
I came away from this with a definite soft spot for this couple and a very satisfying feeling about their journey.

It's Only You - @author.ameliarose
Every now and then a book comes along and it ticks every single box for you. This story will stay for me long after having finished it because it gave me every single emotion.
Two absolutely wonderful characters who are tortured but find the most beautiful love and happiness with one another. Never has a couple deserved their happy ending more than Conner and Jules.
The book was cute, spicy and loving but above all it tackled some difficult subjects that were written beautifully. The anxiety from both Conner and Jules was so realistic and I loved how the author wrote their anxieties differently because it is different for each person.
I loved the way the relationship developed between Conner and Jules. I feel like we went on a real journey with them and like a lot happened in this book. The way they slowly learnt to trust one another and open up about their pasts was delicately written but I felt it was also revealed at the right time.
The book moved at a great pace and I was highly engaged and invested throughout. I had some tears, some laughter and some butterflies. And as a cat person, I adore Pedro! He was a cute addition and added plenty of antics as well.
I'm delighted to have found this new to me author as this is going to be the start of a great reader relationship.

Thank you to the author for the ARC! 🩵
Oh, how I love and Amelia ARC! After It Comes Back to You absolutely destroyed me, I've been looking forward to this one for a while now! It's Only You was different in the very best of ways. The relationship between Conner and Jules moved very quickly, but for them? It made all the sense in the world. The way that they wholeheartedly cared for one another was beautiful. Their story was sweet and spicy while also managing to navigate the hard moments really well! Through it all, they stuck with one another, and that's all that matters in the end. I absolutely adored Conner and Jules' story, and I cannot wait to see what is in store for the next book!
Also, I loved that we also got little updates/appearances from Kat and Sam as well! That's always one of my favorite parts about interconnected standalones. This world is so expansive, and everything connects together so well. I love it!

📚 It’s Only You by Amelia C. Rose
This was such a cute read! The plot felt a little dull at times, but I really enjoyed Jules and Connor’s relationship. I loved how much effort Connor put into making Jules feel safe, wanted, and cared for. ❤️
There were a few moments where Connor had me a little suspicious, especially with everything going on with his parents, but overall, he was such a great MMC.
🌶️ The spice was definitely 5 stars, though! 🔥
I would have loved a little more of the friendship dynamics, but I’m hoping there will be sequels because I’d love to read more about these characters! 💕

This book hits you in all the feels, and I adored it! Conner and Jules are college students with lingering traumatic experiences, that become friends and begin dating.
They each are trying to work through their experiences and what transpires is a sweet, soulful, and steamy story.
This book will make you feel sad, angry, elated, and hopeful. There really aren’t enough words to describe how it will tug on your heartstrings.
It’s a book that stuck with me for a long time afterwards. Definitely a recommended read.

Man, did I eat this book up! If I had the time I would have probably read this in one sitting.
I love Jules and Connor so much. They both have been through so much and to see them finally get the unconditional love that they both deserve ? Incredible! Seeing them both stand up for each other and advocate for themselves was so lovely.
What I really love about Amelia's writing is that she has a way of hooking me within the first chapter. This book had me laughing out loud while reading Jules internal thoughts to wanting to scream at Jules that she does deserve happiness and to believe in herself!! To not let past toxic relationships dictate the here any now. That she does deserve to take up space and demand what she wants and needs.
Getting to know Connor's childhood and understand why he is the way he is... broke my heart and I think my favorite part of the whole book was Jules reading him Jane Austen. It was such a tender scene that genuinely gave me butterflies.
I also loved seeing Kat and Sam again! To get to see a part in their happily ever after was so epic. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series!

What a fantastic book! I've read this twice now and both times I inhaled it. I love Jules and Connor and them together so much. I felt for Jules with the trauma she has gone through and loved seeing her unfurl and take up space as her confidence grew! Connor also had his own past and things he was dealing with, and I loved that they took care of each other. Connor is top notch book boyfriend material and even when there were bumps they talked things through and were there for each other. And let's face it. Pedro the cat is the real star here! I enjoyed getting to see a little of the characters from book 1 and pieces of the beginnings of the next book! I'm excited for what comes next!

Thankyou to the author for the arc of this book.
It’s only you is the second book in the woven hearts series by Amelia C. Rose.

This is the same song and choreography I danced half-drunk to in my boxers a few years ago when she was sad she’d missed family dinner.
When the song comes to a close, the girls all hold up signs that spell out:
W I L L Y O U M A R R Y
M E J U L E S ?
I move to stand at the end of the line and watch her eyes go over the signs once, twice, three times before she finally sees me.
I’m tingling as adrenaline courses through me. A few more steps closer to her, and I take her hand in mine, hoping the trembling isn’t obvious. I drop to a knee and hold out a black velvet ring box.
“Juliette Dawn Stokes,” I begin, voice shaky, “you are all I could ever ask for and more. You are everything to me. I want you for the rest of my life.” I’m more confident as I go, the people in the stands and her cheerleaders drift to the background. It’s only her and me on this field. “Because for me, it’s only you. I want everyone to know that you’re mine and that I’m yours. Will you marry me?”

❤️ She Found Her Voice, He Found His Home 🥹
⭐ 5 Stars | 🌶️ 2 Chili Peppers
Some romances hit that perfect sweet spot where the chemistry, emotion, humor, and characters all come together and suddenly you realize you've completely lost track of time. It's Only You was one of those books for me. ❤️ Jules and Conner both carry so much from their pasts, and watching these two slowly realize they could be a safe place for each other completely pulled me in.
Jules has become very good at pretending she's fine. After a relationship that destroyed so much of her confidence and years of feeling like her choices are never quite good enough for her family, she has learned to question herself and make herself smaller. Then she unexpectedly crosses paths with Conner, the guy she once had a crush on, and suddenly someone is looking at her like he actually sees her.
Jules's growth was one of my absolute favorite parts of this story. 🥹 Watching her rebuild her confidence, trust her own instincts, advocate for herself, and slowly realize that she is allowed to take up space was incredibly satisfying. She didn't need Conner to make her worthy of love. She needed to rediscover that she had always been worthy, and I loved watching that confidence slowly return.
And sweet Conner. ❤️ This man had my heart. He's patient, caring, protective, and attentive, but he's also carrying significant trauma from his own childhood. I appreciated that he wasn't written as the perfect hero who magically comes along and heals Jules. Conner has his own fears, nightmares, and struggles to work through, and Jules becomes just as much of a safe place for him as he does for her.
That balance was what made their relationship so special to me. Conner gives Jules the support to find her voice again, while Jules gives Conner something he's never really had: a feeling of home. They take care of each other, stand up for each other, and slowly learn that vulnerability doesn't have to mean getting hurt.
Their relationship develops fairly quickly, but it worked for me because I still felt like I got to experience the important moments. The conversations, trust, nicknames, laughter, emotional vulnerability, and little acts of care made their connection feel like more than attraction. And some of the quietest moments hit me the hardest. Jules reading Jane Austen to Conner? My heart. 🥹📖 Sometimes it's those simple scenes that give me more butterflies than the biggest romantic gestures.
But don't mistake all that sweetness for a lack of chemistry because these two definitely brought that too. 😂🌶️ There was plenty of steam mixed into all the tender moments, and I loved that their relationship could be sweet, sexy, emotional, and playful.
This story also took me through ALL the emotions. I laughed, got angry, wanted to hug Jules, had my heart broken for Conner, and definitely got teary more than once. There are some difficult subjects explored throughout the book, including trauma and abuse, so I would recommend checking the content warnings before reading.
And then we have the actual star of the entire book.
Pedro Purscal. 🐈😂
That fluffy little chaos machine provided some perfectly timed lighter moments, and watching Conner become a cat daddy only added another qualification to his book-boyfriend résumé.
It's Only You was sweet, spicy, raw, emotional, and ultimately so hopeful. Jules and Conner don't erase each other's pasts. They simply show each other that the past doesn't get to decide what they deserve in the future.
She found the confidence to use her voice again.
He finally found somewhere that felt like home.
And together, they found the kind of love where neither one had to pretend they were fine. ❤️🥹

Amelia has a way of writing that captivates your interest immediately and makes you fall in love with every character she creates. This story was poetic and Heart wrenching at the same time. It follows FMC, Jules that has suffered from a traumatic relationship and is constantly doubting what she says or how she feels. Then, enters a MMC, Connor that shows her what a man and a relationship should be. Connor is the perfect example of patience, understanding, and authentic love. He sees her without her needing to explain herself. The pace is fast between them but it makes sense. As much as I was completely focused on them, the other characters stood out to me still. I’m so excited that Mia is next on the series but I’m also dying to know more about Liam and his secret girl..which I have a feeling who it is. I love how much Amelia gives us on the backstory of both characters with their family dynamics and past experiences because it really shapes them into who they are now and who they want to be as they grow with their partner in this instance. I will be thinking of Connor and Jules story for a while.

This book reminded me learning to love again is hard, learning to trust again is harder. But the hardest wounds to heal are when you lose trust in yourself. Juliette craves love, inclusion and acceptance. Conner craves love that stays even in the bad times. Together they learn to heal and it was beautiful to watch unfold.
Conner's steadfast and patient nature slowly allows Juliette to rebuild after abusive William leaves her broken and insecure. He is the perfect mix of alpha and golden retriever. He showed up, he listened, he held her and he proved time and time again that she was seen.
Juliette's growth is so empowering, especially when she finds her voice. She learns to say no and mean it. I loved that for her! She also starts asking for what she wants, which is such a 'yes girl!' moment.
There was no slow burn here, but one hell of a 'who did this to you' moment. Glorious! He was all kinds of touch her and die and I am here for it! The spice was just perfection. Smoking hot and perfectly timed in the story.
There are heartwarming moments in spades and you root for them throughout. A love story that will suck you in and not let go.

A SWEET, SPICY & RAW kind of love.
Juliette and Conner’s love made me CRY. Jules finally getting the love she deserves, while BOTH of them face the trauma that they’ve lived through? AND TOGETHER? Jules is a girl after my own heart. I know what it feels like to be hurt by someone you loved and thought was “the one”. I know what it’s like to keep someone new (or not so new) at arm’s length. And Conner, sweet lover boy Conner, is by no means perfect at all, but oh my goodness I love him! A man who shows is feelings and keeps himself accountable for his behaviors? Shows you he cares and defends you? PLEASE. SWOON. This was sweet, spicy, and RAW. Their love story is one of my new favorites!
BUT, the real star of this entire show? Pedro Purscal. Special shoutout to this sweet fluffy sidekick!
Amelia, I love you, and I LOVE Jules and Conner so much. Thank you for choosing me again to be one of your ARC Readers! I cannot wait to read the next love story in this series!!!!

Woven Hearts: Conner and Juliette
Holy… they move FAST!
There is a LOT of steam in this one. And I mean a LOT. These two definitely don't waste any time.
But underneath all that heat, there are some heavy emotions and difficult experiences for both Conner and Juliette to work through.
There are also quite a few potentially triggering circumstances, so definitely read the content warnings before diving in.
I really liked seeing these two find some comfort and safety in each other while dealing with everything from their pasts. It wasn't always easy, but there was something really sweet about their connection underneath all the intensity.
And the cats…
The cat names were totally awesome!
A fast-moving, emotional and VERY steamy romance with two people carrying some serious baggage but finding something worth fighting for in each other.

This is a fast-paced read with instant attraction, plenty of spice, and a storyline that kept me turning the pages. I really enjoyed the premise and the fact that both characters came into the relationship carrying their own trauma and emotional baggage.
I loved seeing them both open up, show vulnerability, and experience all the emotions that come with taking a chance on a love you choose for yourself. There were some really lovely moments between them, and I appreciated watching their relationship develop.
That said, I did struggle a little with their chemistry. At times, it felt slightly off for me, and the pace of the romance and especially the spice was a little too quick for my personal taste. I would have loved a bit more time for their emotional connection and chemistry to develop before things became so intense.
The side characters were a real highlight, especially Pedro the cat! He definitely stole some of the scenes for me.
Overall, this was an enjoyable, emotional, and very spicy read. It just moved a little faster in the romance and spice department than I personally prefer. If you love instant attraction, fast-paced romance this could definitely be one for you.

It’s Only You is everything I freaking love about Amelia. Conner and Jules’ story is a delicious combination of emotion, contemporary romance and spice that just has you hooked from the start.
Conner and Jules were both battling trauma and the way that vulnerability became interwoven into their relationship was so heartwarming. Jules had never been made to feel enough, felt enabled to have a voice— Conner gives her that. Conner has never really had a home— Jules gives him that and of course, we can’t forget Conner becoming a cat daddy too!
And the ending is one of my favourite ever endings!!
Grab your blanket, the tissues, a coffee and a copy of It’s Only You because you’re going to want to get comfortable! Conner and Jules are an unputdownable must read!

Juliette finds herself never good enough for her dad, her job choice, any life choices in general. Having broken up with her boyfriend who left her feeling broken and not enough, she finds it hard to get her spark back.
She runs into Conner at a coffee shop, a guy she’s had a crush on since high school and he asks her on a date.
This book covers dark themes, mental health, abuse (physical and verbal). Amelia does a perfect job of writing both Conners’ and Juliettes’ experiences.
They fall hard and fast for each other and I just love how they navigate their traumas and insecurities and in the end work through them together.

Thank you so much to the author for the eARC!
I just LOVED reading this book! This is the second book in the Woven Hearts Series, but each book can be read as a standalone. Please be sure to read the trigger warnings before diving into this book, as there are some that might be triggering to you!
Jules bumps into Conner at her local coffee place. She remembers him from high school, and her crush on him. Jules isn’t very confident in herself, and that has mostly to do with her parents and her ex-boyfriend. Once she meets Conner, her confidence grows, and she starts standing up for herself, which I loved seeing. Jules definitely finds comfort in Conner and slowly opens up to him. And these two have some AMAZING chemistry!
Conner also has a darker past. He hides it well and doesn’t talk much about it, but with Jules, he finally starts to open up. He is very drawn to Jules, and after their first meeting, he just can’t get her out of his head. He’s so caring and supportive of Jules, even if trusting someone else can be very scary for him.
These two have such an amazing chemistry! They are just perfect for each other and really balance each other out. They both realize that sometimes you have to fight for your happiness and not to let anyone else take that away from you.

This was a fast-paced, spicy romance, and I really liked the storyline and the characters. Both of the main characters come with emotional baggage, and I truly wanted to feel what they felt, but the emotions didn’t quite go all the way for me.
I felt that the story was a little too fast-paced; I would have needed more details to really connect with the story and the characters. I didn’t quite feel the chemistry between the main characters, and some of the dialogue felt a little clunky to me.
This is a book for you if you like it heavy on the spice and fast burn/insta lust. For me personally, it was a bit too much, too fast, but hey! Spice is subjective!

I really loved Jules and Connor’s story! ❤️
They both had so much trauma to work through, and I really appreciated seeing them navigate it both together and separately. Their individual journeys felt just as important as their relationship, and I loved watching them slowly work through everything they’d been carrying.
Amelia always does such a great job writing trauma in a way that feels real and emotional. You genuinely feel like you’re right there with the characters, experiencing everything alongside them. Their struggles, their healing, and all the messy moments in between felt so authentic.
Such a beautiful and emotional story!

It’s Only You is a tender, emotional contemporary romance that leans into healing, vulnerability, and choosing love even when it feels scary. Jules and Conner take care of each other in ways that feel so genuine, and their journey is full of soft moments, great banter, and a found‑family that ties the whole story together. Really like Conner overall. The mental health rep was especially well done, and Pedro the cat remains the true icon of the Woven Hearts universe haha.
So grateful to have delta read this one. Thank you, Amelia, for trusting me with another piece of your heart.

Amelia C Rose did it again!
She writes characters that feel real, their troubles are real, their lives are real...and you just want to hang out with them!
Connor's and Juliet's story is a sweet one. We see their feelings for each other grow and we join them on their healing journeys from the past and how to cope with the present.
There are adorable cats, cute nicknames, and a birthday movie night that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Happily ever afters, found family, and an MMC with a dirty mouth are just a few things you can expect to enjoy in It's Only You.

I loves Conner & Jules story. They both have trauma they are overcoming, but the support they give each other is beautiful. One of my favorite scenes is he reads her mood, and just drops his jeans and shirt to lounge around and join her sulking, getting her to talk about what was wrong, and supporting her through it. That right there melted my heart!

This book wrecked me in the best way!
The story of Conner and Jules took me on one wild ride! I swooned, I laughed, I blushed, and I cheered on Conner and Jules. He may have been Jules’ childhood crush, but he falls fast and hard! She may have reservations of falling too fast, but Conner is hard to resist.
I was not prepared for the second half of this book - what an emotional roller coaster!
Book 2 from the Woven Hearts by Amelia Rose is a story I won't soon forget. Highly Recommend.

It’s Only You is book two in the Woven Heart series and can be read as a standalone as well. This book is a spicy contemporary romance that covers mental health and abuse. Jules and Conner make such a great couple and I loved watching them help each other heal from both past traumas. I really loved Conner and how much he cared for Jules.
