Selene life is turned upside down. When her home is burned to the ground, her sisters decide it is for the best to sell the land and move forward. But for Selene, she feels the loss of her home. Her decision is to travel to uncharted lands. Unfortunately for her, she isn’t tall enough for the next expedition. She finds a way but things take another turn. Not only does she meet up with the Thor but an untimely attack strands them on a world with Vikar. When she is taken and given to Drako, she is punished. Now it is a battle to fight for their lives.

It is pretty interesting. Selene wanted to travel and yet have her home. I have to say that she is being a brat to both men. Thor has a kind heart with a touch of kink. He wants nothing but the best for her. Drako wants to dominate her. They both know she needs structure to not only to learn but survive. I have to laugh when she kept kicking Drako. I swear she definitely needed a spanking. The boys on the other hand have issues. But there is more going on then even I realized. These are a family in a weird way.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this book. It started with a complete lack of consent and continued along the same lines for most of the story, until she suddenly decided she liked what was happening. That really didn’t sit right with me. These types of books always seem to follow the same frustrating pattern — the woman is forced into submission and then punished harshly whenever she tries to resist. It feels less like romance and more like breaking someone down until they comply. Sometimes it even feels like these stories are written for men who would like to do that sort of thing, rather than for readers who want genuine connection or emotional depth.

Selena began as such a strong character, and I admired how she fought back for so much of the book. But watching her slowly wear down was disheartening. Instead of real growth or connection, it felt like she simply caved because she had no other choice. By the end, I was left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed, wishing her strength had been respected rather than erased.

One tough cookie!

My god, I loved this book! It's spanking hot. You'll laugh, cry and get so mad you want to kill someone! You'll love it! I couldn’t put it down. What happens when you have a sassy, mouthy, hardheaded, beautiful gal who doesn’t stop to think of the consequences? You have Selene. Selene loved her family, but they were a bit over the top when it came to Selene’s life. She decides to herds goats in the wilds to get away from them, but must return for the imminent birth of her oldest sister’s baby. When Selene returns from an errand, she finds the old family home engulfed in flames. Freya hasn’t made it out, so she runs into the burning house, that is until she is jerked back by a hunky fireman. We meet Thor. Hot, good looking, sweet natured, strong as an ox, 100% all male. He stops Selene from running in to save her sister. Thor’s and Selene’s lives are now intwined. Selene stowaway on an expedition ship. The ship crashes and Selene is captured by Jarl Drako. Now we have an equation that equals no other. Selene + Thor + Drako= a hot time for all of them. Both men believe punishing is the only way to keep her in line. If they only knew.

Captivating read, two wonderful Vikings that are taking her to god who knows where for who knows what!
She has been claimed by two Vikings that are taking her off the planet Earth so that they can claim me, when she had sneaked onto the ship she never could have expected that they would take her and the use her for their own amusement.
The two Vikings that now have me on their ship are going to use me for any desire they have in as many ways as they prefer and then they are going to take her to a secondary location where she will then be used to entertain a crowd by ravaging her for their enjoyment.
This is a clear and concise declaration to prove that as far as they are concerned she will be their mate for now and forever.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Addictive from beginning to end…
Selene is a free-spirited, unfiltered, independent minded young lady that’s determined to follow her own path; wherever it may lead. Her mouth tends to get her in trouble with the domineering Vikings she meets in her impulsive adventures. Fireman Thor and Jarl Drako let her know rather quickly what they think of her shenanigans… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

Selene impulsively decides that she’s going into space, come hell-or-high-water. When she stows away, what she does plan for was for someone to rescue her…or that the ship will crash. There’s a lot of conflict in this book - a centuries old blood feud, fighting between the three main characters, internally within Selene - and that conflict ratchets up the tension throughout this story. I was completely gripped - what a great read.
