All my senses crackled with energy, like I had just been turned on with too much power. Book 3 of 4 of the completed serial For better or for worse, Margot is becoming a different person. The incessant demands of her two lovers has both exhausted and exhilarated her, while sparking an artistic resurgence like she's never experienced before.
Can it stay like that forever? As the stakes rise higher and higher, is she growing into someone new or just being devoured by two alpha males, one piece at a time?
**Intended for mature audiences. Cliffhanger warning**
One morning for everything in the day to go so completely wrong. Choice: coffee or presentation? This leads to even more embarrassment moments. By the end of the day the whole thing changes, but are they for the best? Are they for her and will she lose everything before it really begins? Couldn't put the book down as I read the journey of a woman who made choices for what was right for her. Loved it. I voluntarily received a complimentary copy for an honest review.
I liked the main female character, a mix of confidence and vulnerability, and the yin and yang of her twin suitors. I also liked the setting of the story, in the biotech industry. A good read. (I voluntarily reviewed this free ebook.)
Not sure how many books makes up the whole story but lets just say I am stopping at this number 3. Not reading the other books.
I love menage books and in my opinion they are meant to make you feel hot and bothered and put lots of "naughty" fantasies in your mind.
This book is just lacking that. It is lacking connection between the trio and the sex seems superficial. In one point they decide to have a relationship and in the next page you find out that they have been living together somehow and we are not told how that happened. Then there were little mistakes in the plot and honestly I just didn't get that "I must read" the next book, so I decided to let it go. :-(
I like the story and the characters. That being said, I'm not happy how this story is jumping around. It seems that there are important things that are glossed over or not told at all. For instance, what happened with Kevin after dinner? He came to see Margot. There had to be some reaction from Kevin about Jackson & Declan and vice versa. Oh course, I'm anxious how this story plays out so I'll probably read the next installment. Also note that sex scenes could more explicit especially since it is a menage.
Wtf is the deal with Declan? Why does he act like such a douchbag and Jackson seems like such a gentleman with a touch of bad boy. Argggg, I'm so frustrated for her.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I really enjoyed this story between Dalton, Asher & Lydia. This was a new author for me... Can't wait for book 4...
