Now I'm engaged to another. After a decade with Archer Bradley, it's over for good. Now I'm trying to piece my life back together.
My first brilliant idea? Crash with my closest friend. The one who always has my back. My ex's older brother, Ford. Living with Ford was supposed to be temporary. Instead, it's late-night talks and lingering looks.
The way he watches me when he thinks I'm not looking makes my stomach flip. The way he supports my dreams makes me ache for things I shouldn't want. One snap decision spirals into a viral fake engagement, and suddenly I'm planning a wedding to my ex's brother. I came here to get over one brother, but I'm starting to think I'm falling for the other.
If we go through with this, we could tear the Bradley family apart.
But walking away might cost me the one man I can't imagine losing.

I really enjoyed this at first, the tension, the forbbiden love and marriage of convinience pulled me right in. I loved Ford his warmth, stability, and steadfast support made him so easy to root for.I liked Tatum quirky, driven personality, but honestly her constant running away every time she was upset instead of communicating got me frustrating. Both characters had unresolved trauma, which added depth but also a lot of messy miscommunication. The final conflict didn’t land for me, and while the grovel was there, it wasn’t enough. Add in the siblings’ ex dynamic during intense family legal drama and their mom’s declining health… it just didn’t sit right. It had cute moments, but this one wasn't for me. Thank you to the author for the eARC, this us my honest review
This book started off with a cute premise. I had my concerns with her character. She seemed very self-centered from the beginning, and it only got worse. But mostly, I didn’t like how the major conflict at the end was handled AT ALL. It ruined the book for me. She truly thinks that he doesn’t believe in her as a businesswoman because he sold his parents’ house without telling her??? Wtf lady, he impulsively bought a wedding venue for you earlier in the book and offered to help you with connections to his family and organized all your chaos working like an assistant???
So, then she does the mature thing and runs away!??! Can’t handle the adult conversation? And after a week he comes to grovel and I still don’t think this was grovel-worthy. Sure, he made a one sided decision but she selfishly didn’t even bother asking him why he wanted to sell it in the first place. She just wanted it for her business. She knew it was on the market and couldn’t afford the $15mil. But, she’s been so busy with everything and she’s upset that they couldn’t work out a deal???
This woman is not good enough for Ford. She gives nothing back to him. He’s been so starved for her for the last 10 years that he just accepts her scraps of attention. They need couples therapy. Their relationship isn’t healthy. There are too many unresolved points of contention. This is the weakest of the series.

Jumping straight into this review I really enjoyed watching Tatum and Ford fall in love. Ford has always pined for Tatum, but she was with his brother, and after a decade, they finally called it quits. I loved that forbidden element and the feeling of that unknown line between them. He was always a shoulder to lean on or come running to for support. There is something about a man who pines for a long time get there shot.
They’re complete opposites but work so well together. With a few challenging moments woven into this character driven storyline, it made for an enjoyable listening experience.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the audiobook, and Lucy and Tim did a brilliant job with the dual narration, really bringing Ford and Tatum to life.
I just want to mention the conflict moment towards the end was not my favourite. I didn’t expect a few scenes that played out in the chapters it covered. But glad it all worked out in the end.
I look forward to reading more of Lisa’s work in the future!

Is the book cute? Sure. I’m not adding it to my collection, though. I just don’t like Tate. She’s just selfish. Ford’s childhood home is not her concern if he wants to offload it. For her to leave him over that actually ruined the entire book for me. Until that point, I was 4.5 stars and all in. When he spent the money to buy it so she can have her way, I was not happy. Cole was right. She threw a tantrum and only got back with her husband when she got her way. That’s messed up.
honestly I really enjoyed the Bradley legacy series but it’s safe to say that this may be the weakest one so far. I loved it at first, it was a little forbidden since he’s her ex boyfriend’s brother, and there’s a marriage of convenience thing. But in my opinion, Ford deserved a lot lot better. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Tatums business woman spirit and quirkiness. But both of them clearly have issues, and honestly that final conflict was handled terribly. Both of them had did something wrong, yet they never got to the bottom of both of their reasonings and just stayed mostly in miscommunication until he grovelled. And it could just be my opinion, bur keep in mind I hardly ever say this because I lvoe grovelling, but what he did, did not inherit grovelling, it needed a long heartfelt conversation about both of their STILL UNRESOLVED insecurities and traumas. I liked it, it was cute at first, but the end really ruined it for me. And i would be looking forward to the next book, but Asher isn’t seeming amazing right now… I will still be reading it because I love Lisa Suzanne, this just isn’t my favourite. I give this a 2.5/5
I am obsessed with this series and the Bradley family. Their family has issues, some major ones, but they seem like a regular and normal family.
Tatum has always been able to rely on Ford Bradley. He was a friend and the person she can run to when life was crazy. Well, after another breakup with his brother, she runs to him again, but this time things are a bit different.
Tatum is a successful wedding planner who has big dreams. Ford is also a successful man in the NFL. But lately life has been rough after his father was arrested. And now that Tatum is in his home and life, he can’t help but wonder if it’s meant to be. He has loved her for years and you could feel it. But of course he had some self doubt.
I couldn’t help but cheer for these two. Was it conventional the way they got together? No! But I loved them. I also felt bad for the brother, but he will have his chance soon. This book is about finding out what is next, moving forward, claiming love, and learning to live with another person. It’s not easy going from single to married and Ford learns this.
I can’t help but love this chaotic family and can’t wait for Archers story next.
This one started slow for me, but the emotional payoff was worth it.
Tatum turning to Ford after her breakup sets up a messy, tension filled situation that quickly shifts from comfort to something deeper. The brother’s ex dynamic adds just enough complication to make everything feel more intense, especially as those long buried feelings finally come to the surface.
Ford was easily the highlight for me. He is steady, patient, and so clearly in love with Tatum, and it shows in the quiet ways he supports her while she tries to rebuild her life. I loved how they balanced each other and encouraged each other to grow, even with everything happening in his family. Their connection felt soft, genuine, and easy to get invested in.
The ending didn’t completely land since the conflict felt a bit rushed and not everything was fully worked through, which left me wanting more. Still, the emotional build up, strong chemistry, and the comfort of this chaotic family made it such an enjoyable read.
Overall, it’s a strong, emotional read that I’d still recommend.

Huge thank you to Lisa Suzanne & Valentine PR for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨
Even though the story started off a bit confusing and slow, once I got to know the characters and learned more about their past, I quickly became attached to them and found myself eagerly following their development.
The story strongly focuses on the male protagonist’s family, which deeply influences his struggles. I loved how the female lead supports him through these challenges, helping him face his past and grow, making their connection feel genuine and meaningful.
This support goes both ways, as the male protagonist is just as devoted, encouraging the female lead to follow her dreams and standing by her every step of the way. His unwavering belief in her adds a beautiful sense of balance to their relationship.
Overall, this is a cozy romance that reads incredibly easily, with warm, lovable characters you grow attached to almost instantly. While it doesn’t rely on high-intensity drama or action, its charm comes from the soft, heartfelt moments and the genuine connections between the characters. Everything unfolds in a comforting, feel-good way that makes you want to keep turning the pages, making it surprisingly hard to put down🥰.
Ohhhhhhh Ford Bradley 😍😍♥️ to be honest my heart kinda has a small ache for all of them. I feel bad for Archer but in a way, he kinda stole this from Ford to begin with. He has always loved her and Archer/the WHOLE family knew it.. even hers. I love the way Ford and Tatum develop their relationship and the turns of events that brought them closer and eventually stronger as a whole. Although things made Tatum question herself, she also found herself and learned to work through things. I am really hoping Archer’s story is next, because I want him to have his happy ending, but know for sure that Tatum was not it. I have high hopes and know how hard it can be to lose a first love… but knowing there is a greater one out there is even more empowering♥️ loved this story as well as Ford and Tatum!! Devoured this book in 1 day!😍♥️ 5 stars!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am shocked that there are so many high reviews for this book! (Then I realized it was just ARC/ALC readers with 4 or 5 Star Reviews currently out) If the genders were switched we would not be okay with the Tatum character but I guess being a female gives her a can do no wrong pass! This FMC switched from one brother to another within around a month she uses the MMC and then keeps emotionally blackmails him to keep his family mansion and then leaves him in a temper-tantrum after finding out it got sold and goes back to the other brother/Vegas. She than wants to use his other siblings and his name more so that having an organic connection with the MMC! It felt like she was only within him to access what he can give her she is all about money through out the whole book! This book was a train wreck, with too many tropes just thrown in. I love how she want him to keep the bradley family mansion in the family yet she wants him to sell it to her! This relationship definitely showed emotional abuse with the FMC as the ABUSER! Who used the MMC for his connections and money yet claims to work hard but doesn’t even seem to know anything about running a business Ford did everything! (And yet it’s still the MMC who needs to grovel in the third act!) This author is either a hit or a miss and this was 100% a miss!
Wholly Crap! His friend just called him on her throwing a Tantrum when I literally had it written in this review already! HAHA And yes it was 100% a TANTURM!!!!
I have read a lot of books by this author and have enjoyed them all. They aren’t perfect life changing reads, but really enjoyable.
I think the Bradley family books have been stellar up to this one. I loved this book up to the 80% mark. It was like the characters snapped and goofy 16 year olds. I continued to read since I was that far in. I think this series deserves better than the turn into immature reality tv behavior. I have high hopes for the last three siblings to return to the great storytelling of the first three.
My review on insta doesn’t match this, and that’s because I had a change of heart.
This book was hitting its potential 85% of the way, and the last 15% ruined it. I think the story would’ve been better if the fmc acted differently in the fight at the end of the book. He had to sell the mansion to get 15 mil, where else would he have gotten it from?? She threw a tantrum about him not waiting for her to buy it when she literally couldn’t even afford it. And then she ran away, while be self aware and knowing she runs away. She is also late 20’s, like BABE, communicate!!!!! She secretively ran off to Vegas to brother hop back to archer. I know it wasn’t really brother hopping, but like really? You’re going to find solace in him? There’s literally nobody else??? AND THEN ending the last chapter the way she did is too much for me. Like clock me OUT (she ended it with anal sex).

Fake Engagement • Brother’s Ex • Forced Proximity • Protective + Pining Hero • Forbidden/Complicated Romance • Lingering Tension • Friends to Lovers • Messy Family Dynamics
Lisa Suzanne delivers an emotional, tension-filled romance in Snap Decision, book four in The Bradley Legacy, and this one absolutely pulled me in from start to finish—I devoured it in less than a day.
This story centers on Ford Bradley, the steady, protective tight end living in Tampa, and Tatum Barker, his younger brother Archer’s ex and longtime friend. Tatum and Archer shared a deep history—friends for years, together for eight—and while their relationship had slowly shifted into something more comfortable than passionate, the emotional weight of their breakup still lingers heavily over the story. And honestly? I felt that. I wasn’t pushed to dislike Archer, which made the love triangle feel even more real and, at times, heartbreaking. When he comes back wanting another chance, it hurts—because he never felt like the villain.
But Ford… Ford Bradley is everything. A total cinnamon roll with a protective streak, he has been quietly, hopelessly in love with Tatum since a single kiss when they were teenagers. Watching him pine for her from the sidelines for years—supporting her through her relationship with his brother, always putting her happiness first—adds so much emotional depth to his character. When Tatum turns to him after her breakup and they end up in a forced proximity, living together situation, the shift in their dynamic feels natural, slow-burning, and full of tension.
The fake engagement trope adds another layer of chaos and longing, and what starts as something convenient quickly spirals into something very real. The lingering looks, late-night conversations, and quiet acts of care between them build a connection that feels both inevitable and forbidden. The chemistry is there, but it’s the emotional history that really makes this romance hit.
Tatum is a bit of a hurricane—sunshiney, driven, and determined to build something for herself outside of the Bradley name. I loved that she stayed focused on her own dreams and identity, especially after spending so long tied to one of the Bradley brothers. That said, she did have moments where she felt a little self-focused, particularly in conflict with Ford, where I wished she had given more weight to his perspective—especially considering everything he and his family endured growing up under a manipulative, controlling father. The Bradley family dynamic is intense and layered, and it adds a lot of depth and tension to the story.
What Lisa Suzanne does really well here is capture the emotional complexity of falling for someone you shouldn’t. This isn’t a clean or easy love story—it’s messy, complicated, and filled with difficult choices, loyalty conflicts, and years of unspoken feelings finally coming to the surface.
Even as someone who doesn’t usually love love triangles, I thought this was handled beautifully. At its core, this is a story about friendship first, about timing, about choosing yourself, and about a love that’s been quietly waiting for its chance.
And now? I absolutely need Archer’s story and his HEA.
Audiobook Note: Tim and Lucy did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life—the narration was smooth, engaging, and really captured the emotional nuance of the characters.
If you love emotionally layered romance with high tension, complicated family ties, and a soft, obsessed hero who’s been waiting years for his moment—this one is definitely worth the read.
Typically, I don’t like Love Triangle Tropes: one partner is usually making excuses for cheating on the other—and when its with a sibling…well…ick! BUT! (And a HUGE BUT!) Snap Decision isn’t a “snap decision”. Instead, Ms. Suzanne writes a story of two people who are friends first. Two brothers, Ford and Archer Bradley, who both love the same woman but Ford keeps his affection silent and his friendship support for Tatum is his only “tell” that he cares.
As the story opens, Tatum is in the midst of a final break up with Archer. Their relationship has been stormy and was fizzling out. She feels that they are now together out of habit vs love, and she turns to her best friend Ford, who is coincidentally Archer’s brother. Ford allows her a place to regroup, and in the process, supports her efforts to launch her Wedding Venue business. They jointly purchase a venue, however a stipulation is that they have to be the first wedding performed at the venue. Since they didn’t disabuse the owner that they aren’t dating, it puts them in the position to recognize their feelings and schedule a wedding to receive their deposit returned. What became apparent to Tatum through his behavior toward her as well as the comments by family members: no one is surprised by this as they all have known that Ford has loved her for years.
Here comes the other part of the Triangle: It seems that Archer was only pushing Tatum away to keep her from the family drama caused by Archer and Ford’s father, who was being prosecuted for tax evasion and running an illegal gaming establishment. He still loves her and declares this post Ford/Tatum engagement.
NOT to give away the cliffhanger, but there are many other parts of this drama unfolding: Bradley Family dynamics from characters of previous books, Ford’s father pulling his children into his schemes, Ford’s mother’s health decline and his realization of her love for him, Tatum’s desire to purchase the Bradley mansion for another wedding venue and Ford’s selling of the location, along with trust, honesty and communication breakdown that compound the dynamics.
I truly loved the warmth of Ford’s character and his stalwart support for Tatum, as he did his best not to hurt his brother Archer. As I said at the opening of this review, Triangles are sticky situations, aand Ms. Suzanne wrote this book with heart.
Wow!! This series just keeps getting better and better with every book that releases. Ford and Tatum definitely have amazing chemistry and this book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down. Ford had always loved Tatum even if she didn’t know it at the time as she was with his brother.
I loved the banter in this book as well as the chemistry between Ford and Tatum and the heat was smokin’. Their relationship was an emotional rollercoaster ride that made this book a five-star read for me. I am so sold on this series and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Obsessed with the Bradley family and this was no exception. Ford and Tatum have been friends for years but she was dating his brother. When they finally break up for good - she finds comfort in Ford. And then a kiss happens - which has been years in the making. I loved the back and forth of this book. And Ford making her wait for sex was such a good slow burn. But these sibs have dirty mouths haha I really loved the ending and cannot wait to see Archer find some happiness.

Final Thoughts💭
Snap Decision is a heartfelt and addictive sports romance that balances emotional depth with sizzling chemistry. Between the forbidden relationship, fake engagement drama, and compelling narration, this audiobook keeps you hooked from beginning to end. As usual Lisa Suzanne has to throw in a bit of drama and for me the unnecessary groveling. (Eye Roll, because Ford deserves a reward for his silent dedication to a girl He watched, waited and dreamed about) But even as I thought all that. It somehow made the whole story complete and worth me giving it five stars.
If you enjoy romances with protective heroes, complicated family drama dynamics, and fake relationships that turn very real, this audiobook is definitely worth the listening experience.
A Shout out to Valentine_pr and to you my bestie for reading my ramblings, Recs and review, until next time. One Love 💕one book at a time
This novel centers on three people whose lives have been intertwined since high school: Tatum, and the two brothers who love her; Ford and Archer. What begins as a familiar love-triangle premise quickly becomes a layered story about timing, loyalty, ambition, and the complicated way love evolves over years.
Tatum’s history with the brothers is the emotional backbone of the story. In high school, she shares a brief but meaningful kiss with Ford, the older, steady brother. But life pulls him away to college, leaving space for Tatum and Archer to grow closer. What follows is a decade-long, on-again, off-again relationship between Tatum and Archer—passionate but unstable. Despite their connection, whenever Tatum needs grounding, she turns to Ford. That quiet emotional reliance becomes one of the book’s most compelling tensions: the person she loves versus the person she trusts.
When Tatum finally decides her relationship with Archer is over for good, she asks Ford if she can stay with him. His agreement sets the stage for blurred lines and unresolved feelings finally coming to the surface. The shift from friendship to something deeper feels both inevitable and risky, especially given the family ties involved.
The story expands beyond romance when Tatum and Ford go into business together, planning to buy a historic mansion and transform it into a wedding venue. The seller proposes an unusual condition: if they host their own wedding there first, they’ll receive their full capital back from the sale. It’s a bold, romantic gamble, and the idea of a “trial wedding” cleverly mirrors the emotional risks the characters are already taking.
Conflict escalates when Tatum hopes to invest in another mansion owned by Ford and Archer’s family. Lacking the funds, she expects Ford to believe in her vision, but instead he accepts an offer from another buyer and keeps the decision from her. When Tatum discovers the truth, it cuts deeper than a business disagreement. To her, it proves Ford doesn’t truly believe in her or in what they’re building together. Feeling betrayed, she walks away.
In a twist that highlights the brothers’ complex bond, Tatum seeks comfort at Archer’s house—but only as a friend. Archer’s reaction is one of the novel’s most mature and surprising moments. Rather than rekindling their past, he immediately calls Ford and tells him to fix things. It’s a powerful acknowledgment that, despite everything, Ford is the one she truly belongs with.
Ford’s response is to cancel the sale, fight for Tatum, and ultimately gift her half of the family mansion as their second wedding venue investment. This response serves as both a romantic grand gesture and a meaningful act of trust. Instead of simply apologizing, he proves he believes in her dream.
Overall, the novel blends romance and personal ambition in a satisfying way. The love triangle never feels cheap because it’s rooted in years of shared history, and each character shows real growth; especially Archer, whose willingness to step aside adds emotional depth to the story. Themes of trust, timing, and partnership run throughout, making the ending feel earned rather than convenient.
For readers who enjoy second-chance romance, complicated family dynamics, and stories where love and business collide, this book delivers an engaging mix of heartfelt drama and hopeful resolution.
Why is it that our hearts get a say when our logic knows it shouldn’t? So here was Ford Bradley once again Tatum Barker running to him once more, leaving him feeling torn. He knows when she goes back to his brother, Archer it will leave him gutted all over again. But he and Tatum are friends. You see, Ford fell in love with, his brother’s BFF back when they were all in high school together. Tatum had been thinking back to her and Ford’s first kiss, back when they just finished her freshman year of high school, and Tate had a little crush on both brothers, Ford and Archer. Archer and Tatum had classes together, so they spent more time together. But if she was being really honest with herself, back then…it was Ford whom Tatum had the biggest crush on. The family overall wasn't close, even though the siblings are fairly close. Archer was always the wild card, the loner. Ford could somewhat understand that because he was a private guy probably because his father was always so flashy and out there in public. As for the kiss, she had swept that crush away when he seemed to sweep her away as she did the kiss. They kissed, and he pulled away. They never talked about it, and Tate assumed it was because he’d been drinking and didn’t even remember it happened. Regardless, she was in his friend zone. He saw her as belonging to his brother, and she was probably too young for him anyway. They were only two years apart, but in high school, that mattered. He was a senior, and then he went off to college, and he got busy with football. Archer and Tate had grown up together during those years, and they grew closer. Ford was nowhere around. Therefore, she pushed aside her feelings for Ford since they weren’t reciprocated, and she got together with the other boy she had a crush on. It just so happened to be Ford’s younger brother, the one who seemed to be the right pick for her. Was she? He never put a ring on it. But then they were at a friend’s cake tasting when all of a sudden she was feeding Ford. It’s an aphrodisiac-inspired cake, but as the sweet honey and caramelized fig touch his tongue, the way it melts in his mouth is unexpected and absolutely delicious. Then he brings the other fork up to her lips, and her eyes are on his as she opens her mouth, takes the fork, and closes her mouth over it. He pulls it out, and it’s clean. For him, everything south of the border stands at attention. He watches as she closes her eyes and leans her head back with a moan at how fuxking delicious the cake tastes, and Ford nearly comes in his pants. Here’s her dilemma can she or should she act on what she feels could be? There are so many questions that Ford needs answers to. Archer gets caught up in an FBI investigation due to his father, with whom he willingly went along with knowing his father was a crook. But he did it anyway, casting Tate out of his life, but calls foul when she does, and then plays mind games with both Tate and Ford. He spreads doubt and plays, then he plays the martyr as if they did something to him. Face is dude show her the ring. Never happened. This was a little maddening. Tatum was a pain in the a$$ in the way it felt like she was playing both brothers. She played on Ford’s love for he to get what she wanted a lot. Didn't like that. Lost a star.

Snap Decision by Lisa Suzanne is book four in The Bradley Legacy series and delivers an emotional, complicated romance filled with tension, loyalty, and unexpected love. With a mix of fake engagement drama, family conflict, and years of unspoken feelings, this story explores what happens when the person who has always been there suddenly becomes impossible to ignore.
After ending her decade long relationship with Archer Bradley, Tatum Barker is trying to figure out who she is without the life she once planned. Seeking a place to regroup, she turns to the one person who has always supported her without judgment, Ford Bradley, Archer’s older brother. What starts as a temporary living arrangement quickly becomes something far more complicated.
Ford has always been steady, protective, and quietly present in her life, but sharing space with him changes everything. Late night conversations, small moments of care, and the way he believes in her dreams slowly blur the lines between friendship and something deeper. The chemistry between them builds in a way that feels natural yet emotionally charged because of the complicated family dynamic surrounding them.
A snap decision that leads to a fake engagement quickly spirals into something far more real than either of them planned. What follows is a story full of tension, longing, and difficult choices as they try to balance their growing feelings with the risk of destroying the Bradley family.
Lisa Suzanne does a wonderful job capturing the emotional weight of falling for someone you should not want. Ford stands out as a supportive and patient hero who has clearly cared for her for far longer than he has allowed himself to admit. His quiet strength and unwavering belief in her make their connection feel genuine and heartfelt.
Snap Decision blends fake engagement, brother’s ex romance, and forced proximity into a story that is both emotionally layered and deeply romantic. The stakes feel real as family loyalty, past heartbreak, and new love collide.
This installment adds even more depth to The Bradley Legacy series and will especially appeal to readers who enjoy emotional tension, complicated family dynamics, and a hero who has been quietly waiting for his chance at love.
Oh, my my where to start? Well, we all knew that this was gonna be messy! I mean, come on. How could it not! You have your main male character ( Ford) who has been pining and in love with your main female character (Tatum) for a decade or longer problem is for that entire time she has belonged to someone else and not just to anyone else but to his kid brother (Archer) like I said, messy, messy, messy. But oh so good lol. You know anything great and worth having in life will not come easy. You will have to fight for it. So that you appreciate it that much more. And I feel like that's what happened with these characters. One has known all along how they felt. And the other one basically gets smacked in the face with it, realizing that they felt it the whole time and has to come to terms with that. There was a point towards the end of the book where I wanted to reach in and smack and shake one of the characters lol sorry without giving much away, it had to be said lol. I love the way Lisa writes her books because they make us feel all these emotions. We feel like we're right there with her characters that she's created that we're living what's happening. So we're going on this emotional rollercoaster with them and only your greatest authors can do that. And Lisa is definitely one of those authors. I cannot wait to see what's in store for Archer. I feel like there's so much we're missing with him. Because he's so mysterious and closed off from all of his siblings. It's plain to see in this book that Ford and Tatum were definitely made for each other. You can't help but to root for them from the beginning and all through the book. Even if your heart's breaking at the same time for Archer. But like so many of her other books, where the dads are POS I cannot wait for Mr. Bradley to get what's coming to him. I think that it is going to be the best thing for the children all the way around. Because the damage that he's done already Is so bad. He's so shady. I don't know what he's up to now, but I know it's something, and I know it's going to be his children, that get caught in the crosshairs of his bad doings. So we have Archer's book up next and then either Liam or Ivy's she hasn't said yet. So happy reading everyone and again. Lisa, thank you so much for letting us have a peek into your great imagination and into the world that you've created.
“Maybe I was with the wrong brother the whole time, and this was always meant to be where I’d end up.”
Snap Decision delivered everything I crave in a romance: heartfelt emotion, deliciously messy angst, and characters who feel so real you want to shake them and hug them in the same breath. Ford Bradley has been quietly, hopelessly in love with his brother’s girlfriend for years, and he’s long accepted that Tatum will only ever be one of his closest friends. But when Archer and Tatum break up—supposedly for good—and she ends up staying with Ford, the lines between friendship and something more start to blur. Suddenly, all those buried feelings don’t seem so one sided after all.
“She’s the chaos to my calm. We just fit.”
Ford absolutely owned this book for me. His devotion to Tatum is the kind of slow, aching loyalty that hits you right in the chest. Even with feelings that ran deep, he never once tried to interfere with her relationship with his brother. He just stood on the sidelines, loving her quietly, supporting her unconditionally, and convincing himself that was enough. Meanwhile, Tatum is trying to rebuild her life after ending things with Archer for what she truly believes is the final time. She never expected sparks to ignite with Ford—even though she once had a crush on him years ago—but the chemistry between them refuses to stay dormant.
“I’ve been in love with you for ten years. Maybe more. Maybe since I met you almost half my life ago.”
As they navigate a new business partnership and an accidental engagement (yes, it’s as chaotic and delightful as it sounds), they’re forced to confront whether their connection is worth risking the fragile balance of their family. Their journey is layered with loyalty, longing, and the terrifying possibility of choosing each other even when it complicates everything else.
“She’s home. She’s always felt like home to me.”
And while the story is packed with angst and emotional turmoil, it’s also full of flirty banter, undeniable chemistry, and moments that made me grin like an idiot. I genuinely felt for all three people tangled in this love triangle, but it’s clear Archer was never Tatum’s forever—and I’m already excited to see him get the HEA he deserves next.
The fourth instalment in the Bradley Legacy series is centred around a friends-to-lovers dynamic, one that has been years in the making and focusing this time on Ford Bradley. After a decade of an on again/off again relationship with his brother Archer, Tatum Barker suddenly finds herself single and wastes no time turning to Ford, who has been quietly harbouring unrequited feelings for her since the day they met.
Like the earlier books, Snap Decision is an easy, engaging read. The pacing works well, and the idea of a long-simmering romance finally coming to fruition was appealing and it's always fun to catch up with familiar faces from earlier books and see how their lives have progressed. However, where the story fails for me is with its central couple. Ford fits the mould established by his brothers, a dirty mouthed ‘golden retriever’ type, albeit without their slight bad boy vibes. Tatum, on the other hand, is far more difficult to warm to. Rather than feeling like a likeable heroine, she comes across as opportunistic and self-serving and her decision to jump from Archer to Ford within days, quickly pushing for a marriage of convenience to benefit her wedding planning business, made it hard to invest in their romance especially given the lack of any emotional guilt over the speed she moved on.
While Ford shows flashes of decency and guilt over misleading people, particularly when he considers Tatum’s haste and motives, Tatum’s actions throughout do little to redeem her, and when a third act semi-break up, over something that really wasn’t any of her business, leads to grovelling and a grand gesture from Ford - and just saying nothing says I’m sorry like $15 million dollars’ worth of real estate! It just reinforces my feeling that Tatum is first wife material, the kind of bad decision a hero needs to make so he can appreciate the right woman when she comes along. Sorry Ford, you might begin the story as a retriever, but you definitely end as a lap dog. You should’ve listened to Cole when he read the situation and said Tatum was throwing a tantrum because she didn’t get what she wanted.
In the end, for me Snap Decision lacks the emotional depth that makes a romance truly satisfying. More than anything, it sets the stage for Archer’s story, one that, hopefully, will give him the kind of partner and happy ending he deserves.
The amount of raw emotion that Lisa Suzanne puts into her sports romcoms always surprises me. Even though every story she writes has this moment, I am still never prepared for how well it is executed in her books. Her characters truly capture your heart and you want nothing more for them but to be happy and content. Book 4 in the Bradley Legacy series, Snap Decision, has everything you have come to expect from Lisa’s stories and so much more.
Ford Bradley is the steady and protective friend. Someone who is there when you need him, standing firmly next to you. You see this with almost everyone he interacts with, but no more than with Tatum Barker, his brother’s ex girlfriend. He never meant to fall for her, but once he was able to get to know her on a different level, he couldn’t help himself. He fell hard for Tatum and doesn’t look back. As their relationship grows, while complex, it is simple and beautiful.
Tatum never thought she would become roommates with her ex’s brother. She has been in the Bradley world for some time, but has never once given up on her own dreams to make a name for herself. She has a warm personality, but is very aware of the feelings of others. She knows she shouldn’t be falling for Ford, but the more time they spend together, the more she struggles. She knows the Bradley family is complex and fragile, which comes to a head when her ex comes back wanting a second chance. She’s always paved her own path and is not at a fork in the road that will eventually lead to her utmost happiness.
While there are aspects of a possible love triangle, I don’t know if I would say this has a love triangle. Lisa isn’t one to put fluff in her books as filler, so when something is happening there is meaning behind it. It is time for her characters to grow, develop, and truly come to terms with what they really want. This is where the raw emotion comes in and grabs onto the reader. Lisa will always bring the HEA, but she doesn’t promise an easy journey along the way. A wonderful addition to this series and a book that I absolutely adored.
As always, review any author notes before reading.

What do you do when your best friend aka the woman you're in love with says that she and your brother are broken up *for good* this time?
Well that is exactly what Ford Bradley has to figure out in Snap Decision- book 4 in the the Bradley Legacy series by Lisa Suzanne. And if you haven't read the other books in this series I HIGHLY suggest that you do because the way they are interconnected there will be moments that are understandable if you have read them.
Ford Bradley- pragmatic and logical to a fault- unless Tatum Barker is involved. Tatum is the long time, on again off again girlfriend of Archer the more reclusive and detached Bradley sibling. I love a good friends to lovers story and since he couldn't deal with not having any part of Tatum, Ford accepted her just being one of his best friends- so to say that I was pumped for their story is an understatement. Buuutttt.... I have slightly somewhat mixed feelings.
First of all, Tatum and Ford are perfectly imperfect for each other. They are such opposites- but in a way that they fully compliment each other. Tatum is controlled chaos while Ford isn't one to make any kind of spontaneous moves. She brings more fun and dreams into his world while he helps organize her chaos and provide it some stability. Their interactions together are just so natural and easy that I almost didn't think that there was going to be anything that could get in the way of their relationship.
I think my main issue was that Tatum's feelings were just so ALL over the place. I loved that Ford was such a safe space for Tatum that her first move when things ended with Archer was the desire to run to him. It of course plays up nicely that maybe Ford wasn't so alone in his more than friendly feelings. The problem was it appeared that Tatum didn't even have a romantic thought in her head toward Ford outside of their kiss in high school until Archer- her ex and his brother TOLD her that Ford was already in love with her. Then it was like her feelings were at warp speed.
I can appreciate that she understood she had come to this plateau of comfort and familiarity in her relationship with Archer and that maybe romantically it had been over for a while before they officially ended it- but it didn't seem like Archer got that memo which kind of made me sad and also a little frustrated with Ford. Especially while their family was in the middle of legal drama and their mom being at the end of her road healthwise.
Tatum's penchant to just take off when she was upset or mad made me a little crazy. That was her M.O. with Archer and so when Ford went forward with selling HIS childhood home (which he was planning to do BEFORE Tatum and him got involved) instead of coming up with a way for her to use it for her dream- naturally she took off again. I get why she was mad, and to a degree yes Ford was in the wrong- he did promise her he wouldn't sell without trying to come up with another solution. But it's like come on lady- you are a grown adult, you can't just take off everytime you don't get your way or your feelings are hurt.
I was still hooked on this book though. And that was in spite of Lisa DRAGGING the tensions that bubbled between these two out FOREVER!! There are these sweet moments of the Bradley siblings all kind of becoming closer than they were and it just made me smile.
Now I know Archer's story is next and I need him to get something happy because right now my heart is a little broken for him.
Snap Decision is a cute pro-football, best friends to lovers, marriage of convenience rom-com. Tatum Barker and Ford Bradley have been best friends for more than 10 years. However, neither have been able to forget about a kiss they shared as teenagers before Tatum started dating Ford's younger brother. Now that they have broken up, for good this time, she decides to get some space and stay with Ford in Tampa for a bit. The problem is that Ford has been in love with her since their kiss and is struggling with keeping his feelings hidden from both her and his brother. He never planned on acting on his feelings and she had put hers aside long ago. Now, circumstances are forcing them together in multiple ways and making them face hard truths and buried feelings.
I very much enjoyed this story and the plot... until about the last 15%. I'm always a sucker for a best friend/unrequited love story and this one definitely delivered on that. I absolutely loved Ford and thought that he was the sweetest, but there were times when he seemed a little too much of a push-over to me. That could also be because I've been reading nothing but morally gray/black MMC's lately!
I enjoyed Tatum's character in the beginning and loved how loyal she was to Ford and his family. However, I started getting tired of her after their major conflict and thought that she was just unreasonable and whiny. Especially when Ford was doing everything to fix things and work through their problem. I think Ford's friend Cole said it best when he said, "Sounds to me like she's throwing a tantrum because she didn't get what she wanted." She got better closer to the end though and I was fine with her again by the epilogue.
The story itself moved quickly and kept me interested. I enjoyed the side characters as well, and I especially liked the Bradley family. I haven't read the other connected books, but I would be interested in reading them after reading this one just to read the stories of Ford's siblings. Overall, this was a cute and fun story that I would happily continue on with.
I received an advance review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank you to Valentine PR and Lisa Suzanne for the ARC!
