There's Something About Trixi

Rate this book
Love is its own kind of magic

Trixi DeLuca didn't volunteer to work in the family tea shop. She was voluntold. By her sisters. Who ganged up on her. On a Tuesday.
She’d rather be in her study, blending her magical teas and talking to the pixies who live there. Now she's stuck on Maple Falls' cheerful main street, dodging a group text called the MFers (no, really) and counting the hours until she can retreat to her gardens and greenhouse — far, far away from humans.
Then Daniel walks through the door. Tall. Blond. Annoyingly easy to talk to. And the owner of a smile that does something deeply inconvenient to her composure.
Trixi has rules about humans. No 1: Avoid them at all cost. Daniel is making her forget that.
Trixi has secrets to protect. She has absolutely zero interest in the warm, wonderful man with a huge heart and secrets of his own. (Yes, of course she’s lying.)
But when her secrets are threatened, Daniel is ready to stand by her side and fight the forces of evil (otherwise known as a hedge fund). And if she's brave enough to admit it, he might be exactly what her heart needs.
If Gilmore Girls and Charmed had a love child with a grumpy witch and a slow-burn romance, it would live on Maple Falls' main street — and it would absolutely refuse to join the group text.

I really enjoyed the way this book was written, and I enjoyed all of the characters very much! Although I was a little wary of the FMC’s outward “prejudices towards humans”, the author did a very good job of turning this around. I also enjoyed how the book was split into dual perspectives between the FMC and MMC to show how the characters truly felt about each other.

There’s something about Trixi

From the start of the book I loved the atmosphere the book portrayed if that even makes sense..
There’s Something about Trixi was such a cute read and I felt like I could relate with Trixi because I to love being in my garden, although I don’t have magical healing powers to put in my teas lol… but I always find a way to connect with the characters I’m reading about because for me it just makes the read so much more enjoyable. Also I love that this book is set in PA because I to live in PA. Anyways Something About Trixi is about a witch who owns a tea shop with her sisters and uses her magic to help people through her teas. Trixi seems happy being alone and secluded in her garden until one day she meets Daniel and realizes she is missing something in her life. But being a witch and Daniel a human will Trixi be able to open up with Daniel and truly let him in? Guess you will have to find out by reading the book…
