Good Story

Really interesting story. It's amazing how our author comes up with really good mysteries each time. this time Darcy goes out of her way to help a childhood friend. She has so much guilt over not helping her friend who was murdered she just can't let this one down. And Ellen is anxious to get out of the house so she goes along with Darcy to keep her company. What could go wrong?

This one just did not make a lot of sense for me. I don't understand why a law man would help to hid a professional killer just because she says she's been reformed. You have to be some sort of sociopath to kill people for money. I don't think there's a cure for sociopathy. It can be manageable with treatment, but I don't see her getting any specific treatment. I don't understand why Darcy's so called friend wanted her to get involved.

A river, a bathtub and murder.

Darcy Sweet has what you might call a 6th sense. She sees and gets messages of a sort from dead people. Now, I’m not a paranormal book reading type, but I like her stories. This one involves murder, families checkered pasts and a police chief fiancé.
Very enjoyable!

Twisty one

I have got to learn not to believe everything Darcy believes. I misplace more killers that way. I am also thrilled she isn't a friend of mine. Darcy is definitely hard on friends.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Another Sweet Book!

This series keeps getting better & better. This time Darcy & her friend Ellen (& her son Connor) travel to another small town to visit Darcy's old friend, Sarah. They no sooner arrive when they find Sarah's husband has been murdered that morning. . I found myself being drawn in to the mystery page by page. With the help of a few ghosts & Darcy's "spidy sense" the murder & mystery is solved. I will admit this one did tug at the ole heart strings. Even though this was a quick read, I really enjoyed it. I truly love how the relationship between Darcy & fiancé Jon has grown & matured. Can't wait for the next book!

This is one of the best series I have read!

This is a great series! I love books about the paranormal. This book is a murder mystery with a paranormal twist. I have read all the books in this series. I just can't put these books down until I am at the end. So much action in each book. Love the characters. If you haven't read this series yet, DO! You will be glad you did. Can't wait for the next one!

I give this book 3.5 stars.

I felt number 15 in the series was a little lacking in plot quality compared to the author's previous novels.
Still a very quick, enjoyable read and a wonderful way to spend an hour or two, however it was quite obvious who the culprit was from the start, and the weaving of the plot was not up to K. J. Emrick's usual exceptional level.
I did feel for poor Darcy though, being used & belittled by someone she thought was a friend.

Felicia's Mother

Another wonderful story with Darcy and Jon. Darcy receives an early morning distress call from her old friend, Sarah, asking her to come for a visit. Darcy arrives to find her friend's husband has died a suspicious death. I found this book to be great and a little sad at the same time. Can't wait to read the next Darcy Sweet story!

Another Great One

This is one more great mystery in the Darcy Sweet mystery series. This one was a little heavy on the foreshadowing but that was needed because the action was fast paced. I read it in one sitting so I can say I literally couldn't put it down!

Love Darcy Sweet!!

As always I love the different directions that the stories take keeps me guessing. I like the fact that the stories aren't dragged out so I don't want to keep reading them because I get bored I am ready to start the next one now.

Daddy's not so cozy adventure

Wow! This is my favorite read so far in this series. Granted the death of a child so close to my own in age and gender pulled on some emotions. It was a nail bitting read up until the end. I couldn't stick to suspect thru the whole book.

It's started on cheating...

It's a typical story of being killed and killing someone, who really, in a way deserves to die... having special powers to track down murder case... saving a friend and gettin' shocked... you can't keep a secret forever...can you???

You can figure out the killer quickly in this story. Darcy heads out to help an old friend, only to get caught up in lies, deception and murder.

I enjoyed this one. The mystery was a bit more convoluted than earlier ones, but at least it kept me guessing until the end. Interesting end, not quite what I expected, but still quite good.

Watch out for your friends

This is probably the best in the series. I love the progression of Darcy and John as characters and how much more interesting the story is becoming.
